Firstly, I would like to thank xboarder56 for releasing THE beast.
While everything seems to work great/fast/awesome, I am still NOT able to get the Wifi calling to work on my T-Mobile HTC Amaze 4G
I have confirmed that I have the latest GBA SIM card with the ID TM9177.
But .. here is what I am experiencing ...
I installed the BeastMOD from SD card after I completed the data wipe. I had Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Calling enabled and active. But as soon as I turn the Wifi calling, my phone disconnects from the carrier and when I try to call - the blue Wifi calling icon turns green and back to blue. So I restarted my Amaze. When it booted back up, I had the red Wi-Fi Calling icon in the notification bar. when I opened the notification, it said I had an invalid SIM card. I activated the new SIM that came with the Amaze BOX when I first got it, so I disabled Wi-Fi Calling in the Wireless Settings. The red icon would not go away, so I disabled Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi disabled correctly, but the red icon remained, and my mobile network never reconnected. I had to reboot the phone again to get my mobile connection back.
What I am doing wrong?
Please help!!!
Resolved !!
Called up T-Mobile Tech Support and asked them to update my e911 address for the account.
Rebooted my Amaze - all set with Wifi Calling.
Update
Also, make sure under Settings > Location, the "Use Wireless Address" is NOT checked.
The Wifi-calling app tries to match the 911 address with the address it finds using wireless network - if that doesnt match or if its not a known address, the wifi calling gives an error - REG99: Unable to connect
The new Wifi Calling OTA update might fix all these dependencies.
But at least Wifi calling works great with BeastMOD
I am having an issue with wifi calling on a my One S. For background info I am using a completely stock rom, I am rooted and I have only removed non t-mobile related apps like where's my water and movie editor.
My issue is this, I have wifi calling disabled in settings and yet every time I connect to a wifi hotspot whether at home or anywhere else it attempts to use wifi calling. when it does this I lose all cellular signal and can no longer receive/send calls and texts. I have tried factory resetting the phone as well as calling t-mobile. I was on the phone with them for about 2 hours or so last night and still no fix. Just curious as to what I should do to fix this issue or would it be easier to just get an exchange on the phone.
I have also tried setting up wifi calling but at the same time I would prefer to use my phone connection for calls due to irregularity in hotspots i connect to, hence the reason I have it disabled altogether.
Any help is appreciated
Try setting wifi calling to cellular preferred
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using XDA
Yeah that doesnt seem to help either. I am just about to take phone back and try another. I hate not being able to use my phone my WiFi. No matter what setting I use I can't seem to send or receive any calls or texts. The instant my WiFi connects I get a big X on my cell signal indicator.

This problem is stupid but is easy to fix. Whenever you finished using wifi calling feature, the phone's radio is auto-turn off. That why you can't call or send text message. Open dialer pad, type *#*#4636#*#* ==> phone information => turn on radio. I believe this is a bug because i never have this problem before when i used htc sensation, mytouch 4g
My WiFi calling is not working on my Z3. Since I have that feature turned ON, an error message is indicated right underneath the label where you turn it ON or OFF. I can't remember the exact message since it only seems to happen at work. While connected to the WiFi at work, I have no problem with connecting to the internet. Anyone else having the same issue?
Maybe it has something to do with SIP ALG or Firewall settings on the router? On some routers it causes issues. I have no such issues though.
Better explanation about SIP ALG and VoIP:

I didn't have any problem with WiFi calling at work when I had my LG G2 though....

Hey everyone!!!
Seeing if this issue is wide spread or not but I'm coming from an S10 and I am always being disconnected from wifi calling or receiving random ER081 unable to connect. But if I switch my SIM back to the S10 I get flawless wifi calling.
On the plane or home wifi even I was only able to get like 3 messages through wifi calling before it disconnected where as in my S10 same flight (which I do a lot) I get wifi calling the whole entire time.
Thanks for the help!!!!
My Sprint S21+ keeps dropping wi-fi calling. All location services are set correctly and it works fine when it works. It drops back to voLTE and I get a location error. Anyone else experiencing this?
Nothing like tht for me so far (AT&T customer). I'll certainly keep an eye out though!
Has been an issue since an update to android back in August last year.
Here is a quick workaround however do not forget to switch back.
While on Wi-Fi>Turn off mobile data>Set Wi-Fi Calling to> Wi-Fi priority.
That should fix the Wi-Fi Calling issue while connected to Wi-Fi.
When Leaving Wi-Fi Coverage, Turn Mobile Data back on.
Now, while you are out and about without Wi-Fi and using Mobile Data, Turn Wi-Fi Calling off. That'll make sure you are making calls via mobile signal and not 3g/4g/5g (B.S.)
