It is possible to port a custom rom from s4 to s3?
Since s3 doesn't have developers no more i guess and our c2 is a good phone, is a shame to not develop custom roms for our terminal.
It is possible to port viper rom on c2 with this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908008 ?

I wouldn't think so since Sense doesn't go well with AOSP. That guide is afaik only for ROMS based on CM, which Sense isn't. (It is based on AOSP, but there are too many differences, including framework)
You can try though
there is no way to port a rom from team venom?
Is there a tutorial or a guid to show how to port there awsome rom?

well theres a huge difference between cyanogenmod and a kit kat rom on xda, both offer difference experiences. go through the bugs on the non-CM rom, compare it to CM and see what you need and is essential to you, for cyanogenmod its most of the time the camera that is the only big bug with a few minor bugs.
I have been trying to PORT MIUI rom on base AOSP 4.4.2. I have tried 3 different MIUI roms (a v4 rom and 2 v5 roms from xperia J and samsung galaxy grand and samsung galaxy S II) but all went on vein. All 3 ports were stucked on the boot loop. :crying:
Can any one suggest me a possible suggestion? I will try one more time when i got time and share the logcat. In the mean time can anyone suggest me a good tutorial on porting things. I am too desperate to run MIUI rom on our XL.
Any help will be appreciated.

CM 11 (Android KitKat) NIGHTLIES
CM 10.1 (Android 4.2 Jelly Bean) STABLE
CM 9 (Android 4.0 ICS) STABLE
CWM Based Recoveries
There are hundreds of roms available. It differs from person to person which roms he/she likes.
I personally like CyanogenMod. Just look here and find a rom.
Almost all threads have a guide how to install the rom. If you don't like the rom you just simply install another one.
If you want to get started, install CWM Recovery as listed above.

It's miui5 ,, I want miui6 so I asked from any device should I port the ROM

I rooted my device to install a custom ROM , but later did I learned that there is only one custom ROM for samsung galaxy star advance and that's touchwiz , Is there some way that i can use custom roms of other devices with same screen resolution of my phone, Somebody Please help me with this
