Hi all,
i am new in this forum, and I need help.
We have a rooted galaxy tab p3110 with latest stock rom and need to connect an ethernet adapter to it, in order to access a wired-only device.
We have a lindy USB dongle using MCS7830 kernel module
Nor Samsung stock rom, nor cyanogenmod 10.1 for p3110 seem to have this module compiled, but kernel source tree has its source.
We also tried to compile the module from source, but module version is not the same as stock kernel and the kernel is compiled with modversions enabled, so the externally compiled module cannot be loaded.
Can anyone tell me how to have this module working?
Feel free to ask any question to clarify the problem.
Regards
Qippur
Good day,
I have searched posts about usb otg kernel but i only found results for common devices. I am not very knowledgeable in terms of working around android phones and I am here requesting your help.
Model number: Excite 501o
Android version: 4.4.2
Kernel version: 3.4.67
[email protected] #1
Build number: Cloudfone_excite_501o_FS20141023_V05
Custom build version: 1414037037
I used the app USB OTG CHECKER and it says "Your device has USB OTG API!" but when I check its signal it says "System NOT detect USB OTG signal"
Thank you!
Hi
your devices hasn`t been listed on XDA so a Google search using your device`s keywords may help, thank you
