[Q] Lost a picture folder during transfer, how to recover? - Asus Transformer TF700

Hello Everyone,
A friend of mine lost a folder containing photos on her TF700. She was using the file manager to transfer the photos onto a USB.
My question is:
If she just dragged the folder some where else, how could I help her find it?
If she deleted it, How would I be able to help her recover it?
Im fairly noob when it comes to android, so please be kind.
Thanks,
Joe

Hello:
Is it possibel to recover a deleted file on the XDA II -specifically a picture file? I know on normal PC's there are undelete facilaties (assuming the data has not been overwritten by something else) is there any such facility software for the PPC??
impossible
Hi

Oh, well...
Thanks for the info, I will have to be more careful next time!
if you sync with your pc then
it have all the files synced on the pc in my_Pocketpcdocuments or something like that in your my_documents dir
and if you sync'd since and the file have been deleted on the pc too then i guess you can try the pc undelete
or better yet look in
your user dir (on the pc)
in the application data\microsoft\activesync\<profile name>
it keeps deleted things there sometimes

[Q] I need a file, please, please, please.

Hey all,
I recently had a mishap and ended up losing my wpa_supplicant file completely. I need one. I don't think it is device specific, so if someone has a rooted infuse and would be willing to share their's, I would be eternally grateful. I can't connect to wifi without it.
The file is in system/bin
Thank you so much.

Click to collapse
All you have to do is unzip whichever ROM your using to your hard drive, then go into the system/bin folder on your hard drive and copy it from there.

[Q] .snb FILE RECOVERY !!URGERNT!!

I've lost all my s note by accidently sync with a blank folder in my dropbox.
I am looking for file recovery tools but the problem is most of the tools doesn't recover .snb file.
Then it leaves me another option, which is recover all files using recuva. But the problem is my note 10.1 cannot show as a mass storage in my computer.
Help, please??:crying:
First question that pops in my mind is: "Did you make a correct backup before this mistake?"
If you did not, then i doubt there is anyway of recovering them...Maybe there are file recoverers that can get back deleted files for android, but i don't know any...
But if you have a backup somewhere, im pretty sure you can get back to it by re-initializing your dropbox app in your device

[Q] One Plus One stock file manager problem. (NEED HELP)

I use a one plus one. I recently updated my cell phone to Cyanogen mod version 12.0-YNG1TAS2I3.
Now I transferred some files into the secure folder of the stock file manager present in the phone from another folder in the phone only. I actually transferred two folders. Now I open the secure storage with a password to see that the folder is not showing. A folder was previously present in it that still shows but the one I moved 12 hours ago is no where to be found. Please I need help with this as it had really important files. Anyone with a good solution is always welcome, thank you.
I've got the exact same problem, did you manage to find the files?
