Basically, I would like similar functionality to the bing live wallpapers in windows 7, except on my android.
There are already a few rss wallpaper apps out there, but they are only for text. There are also a few wallpaper switchers, but they don't support RSS.
Basically the app needs to read the RSS feed, download the attachment, and then rotate based off its download folder. This doesn't even have to be an app if someone can point me in a different direction.
I would also welcome the idea of co-developing this...at least insofar as I can learn how to develop an app like this. Thanks

I love Google's News and Weather app very much, I use it all day. I was wondering if anyone has a build of the news and weather app that has multi touch enabled? I hate how I can't zoom in on articles. I feel like there are any different builds of the news and weather app but they are all over the internet and i can't find the best one.
Hey I've tried every RSS news widget that I can find but can't seem to find everything I'm looking for. I want a widget that is like 4x1 or 4x2, has the look and feel of the stock android news widget, scrolls the headlines, auto updates, and has the ability to add custom feeds. The stock android widget does everything I want but does not allow custom feeds . Also the ability to have multiple widgets running different threads would be a plus but not really as important as everything else. So if anyone knows of any or know how to program one please let me know!!! Thanks in advance.
p.s. - I like blueRSS however it does not scroll though the stories....

Before you start shouting at me for asking a question that's been asked a thousand times before, I'll quickly explain what I'm looking for:
- RSS reader with Google Reader integration
- must have a widget similar to Scrollable News Widget
I have been on NewsRob for ages but it annoys me that it doesn't have a proper widget. Today I've tried Feedr and gReader but I don't like the widgets. They're quite impractical and (sorry!) ugly. I've got Scrollable News Widget on my homescreen which I love but it lacks Google Reader integration.
Any help is appreciated!

I believe there is a widget in the market called Atoma RSS. Scrollable widget with Reader integration.
atoma Rss is the best. I've try so many rss reader, first Buzzbox was so good, but now i can't update feed using it.AtomaRss is better, but still have some prob: can't remember google account, only support widget size: 4x2,4x3 and 4x4

I've been looking for much the same myself. I tried Atoma but wasn't entirely happy with it either. I don't see a way to display just a group of feeds from my Google Reader account. This is important since I use Google Reader for my Listen podcasts as well as other feeds that I simply archive there. It also doesn't sync read articles back to the website.
My search for better scrollable widgets did prompt me to compile a list that I just posted to the Android Themes forum. If you find any other options, please let us know of it there as well.

I would like to see an app or script to do followings: I was wondering, if there is a way to change the wallpaper on WP7 automatically. Since there is already an app to access bing images (Bing2Wall), it would be nice to directly link bing homepage images to the phone wallpaper.
Can somebody please write a script or an app to do this? It can either get picture feeds directly from Bing, Picassa, flicker or maybe your own camera pictures and update the wallpaper automatically for the interval of time that user chooses.

No one is interested in this. or It cannot be done. I would also like to see such an app which changes the wallpaper dailly\hourly for me from my folder or bing or picasa or others...
Don't know if it could be done but would like a bing wallpaper feed to change my wallpaper every X time as well. Maybe daily to fit the actual bing search wallpaper

I'm looking for a live wallpaper that displays the time in words. I see apps that will allow it, but no live wallpapers. There are live wallpapers that have clocks, but none are verbose. Most are just widgets.
I'm looking for something like this.
Ideally I'd like to be able to use my wallpaper image, or select from others.
Did I miss one in the Play Store or in this forum? That doesn't suck?
