Multi Touch Google News & Weather App - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

I love Google's News and Weather app very much, I use it all day. I was wondering if anyone has a build of the news and weather app that has multi touch enabled? I hate how I can't zoom in on articles. I feel like there are any different builds of the news and weather app but they are all over the internet and i can't find the best one.

[Q] Like HTC Sense Widgets?

I am looking for Agenda/Calender and Bookmark widgets like the ones on HTC Sense. I have tryed Launcher Pro Plus widgets but I don't want to use LP on my TF. I have also tryed Pure Grid Calendar widget w/Sense skin but it is buggy and isn't scrollable on my TF..The Calender n Bookmark widget on the TF are small and pathetic.
If anyone can recommend a good Agenda/Calender and Bookmark widget that is scrollable and works as smooth as the Sense or LP ones please let me know! Thanks
I'm quite a fan of touch calendar - the paid version has the widgets that you can set to display x number of upcoming/past weeks in a given widget size. It's not scrollable directly from the widget, but you can specify clicking on the widget to either add a new event or see the full calendar. The pinch zoom on the calendar app itself is very nice, and I've found it superior to agenda-type views. You can try the app itself out for free, then decide if you want to pay for it to get the widget.
I don't use a bookmark widget, but live bookmarks is supposed to be pretty good and HTC like (note, it's a live folder, not a widget)

I will give those a try, thank you for your suggestions...Greatly Appreciated!
I don't know of any widgets to do this, but I suggest not buying anything. 3.1 has support for re-sizable widgets, should be pushed out in June.

Looking forward to that update for sure, wish they would also add the option of removing/renaming App shortcut names leaving just the icon on your homepage like LP.

Launcher 7 abandoned or installing widgets will help?

I Love WP7 UI so i install Launcher 7 now
developer has stop releasing its update any news about that.
Moreover, if Launcher 7 is abandoned assume then, Is there
is any way to made Launcher 7 similar to WP7 by developing new widgets specially
for Launcher 7.
Launcher 7+ Live Facebook tile widget+ Live Weather Tile+ Live Twitter Tile+ME tile with Contact Pic= WP7
Like widget containing Live facebook updates, Live Twitter Tiles, Live Weather Tile similar to WP7 tile and adjusted font size to fit a Tile
It's been a few weeks since I looked but I thought the developer was still updating on the donated version. I'm pretty sure the free version was left behind, not that I can blame him. The donate version is pretty darn cheap.
There is another project called wp7android.com. It's not free if that is that you are looking for, but their progress has been decent enough and they seem committed to the project.
apps of wp7android looking promising still reserved for future
i check daily on market for any updates of Launcher 7 but what about Live Widgets
similar to WP7 UI
look on this video (Me tile, Xbox live tile etc)
at 00.48 seconds
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6xbDiVplD0
people Live tile achieved on Launcher 7 itself still how to get more
Live tiles
widgets like this image plz for Launcher 7
Luancher 7 natively supports widgets. It may not be exactly what you are looking for. But it is widget capable and can be played around with some. The trick is to find an app that has about the right size and shape of widget. Like I used the weather channel app for weather. It's not perfect, but it works.
Launcher 7 blows no offense
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA Premium App

Weather Widget That does what Im looking for.

I want a weather widget that has videos playing in the widget that show the condition of the weather. Kind of like the Samsung or LG weather widgets. I know Yahoo Weather does static images but I want Video. Is there any type like this that will work with any launcher. IE Nova???

I haven't come across exactly what you are looking for.
What I suggest, however, is using live weather wallpapers. They serve the same purpose that you want but in a slightly different way.
Here are a few examples:
Weather Wallpaper by yitiaocailHM
Weather Screen by Hamster Beat - it's not free though
Animated Weather Widget, Clock by Mobilityflow Publishing - they list animated widgets under features in development
Unfortunately I can't provide links as I haven't reached my 10 post limit yet.
Vitesse.

In his case (as in my case too), phone/android version is irrelevant because we want a weather widget for a 3rd party launcher and NOT for a propierary launcher with a propietary dependant weather widget (like samsung weather widget, or xperia weather widgets that are only compatible with their propietary launchers...)
Anyway... answering myself, i've found two widgets that does exactly what we want, but they can be very laggy without a potent phone
--> FineWeather Widget
--> Animated Weather Widgets
Both in play store

Looking for a weather/rss app

Well the topis tell it all.
I'm looking for a app that has Weather and RSS as a widget. Loving the idea with Google's News and Weather app, only problem is that i can't choose where from the news should come from.
Any idea?
