The solution I found to the staging error was to use super wipeFull from the android revolution thread however this will wipe the internal sdcard so back up your fish by mount you internal thru twrp or cwm
Do the wipe then reflash your Eos ROM
super wipe link

Go back to recovery, wipe everything and flash it manually.
You can ignore the staging error, it causes no issues whatsoever.

I tried that, but it still wouldnt get past the eee pad splash screen.
Back on stock gonna try again.
Thanks!

I just flashed one for a friend this morning and had the same issue. I had to reboot to recovery, wipe /system cache and dalvik, then reflash. Not sure why it happened but after that it booted right up!

If you are flashing EOS 4 Nightly 100, be sure to flash KatKernel 96 afterwards. The default kernel packaged with the nighly is borked. Or you can flash Nightly 99, or flash the Preview B175KK

Stuck in bootloop after installing SKYICS

I recently flashed SKYICS onto my Skyrocket. After flashing it is stuck in a bootloop and will not get past the ICS boot animation. What can I do to fix this?

I flashed it through ClockWork Mod. Followed the exact instructions on the OP's post which said:
-Reboot to Clockwork
-Wipe Data Factory Data reset a few times
-mounts and storage, and format systemx3
-Wipe dalvik cache
-wipe cache partition
-Then choose 4.2e base and install zip
-Install Modem
Redownload the rom and try again. Maybe flash without the modem or flash the modem first.

Maybe try starting over with the Odin ICS leak then flash touch recovery before moving onto sky ics?
.
You have to be on touch cwm in order for it to work smoothly. I personally use tpmullan's 5.8.1.3 and never had any problem flashing with it. Also, you can try running darkside wipe before flashing. I've found that it helps in some cases. You might need to flash the stock rom with odin and start over from there

Wrong version, endeavoru is the international (Tegra3) One X. Our phone is code named evita.
Just stick to the Development forum here, to avoid flashing ROMs for the wrong version of the One X:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1726
Thanks for the information.
Was able to successfully flash to CM10 but I'm stuck at the CM10 boot screen. Circle going counter clock wise around. What should I do?

If you flashed an international rom, there's a good possibility you messed something up. Factory reset, wipe /system, and try flashing the correct CM10 rom again.
Ok. I'm trying to do a factory reset from bootloader but whenever I do, it goes to the CM10 boot screen where I was earlier. How can I do a factory reset?

A guy I was working with had the boot screen splash. If you've flashed the correct one, then wipe your caches. if that doesn't work reflash.

Don't do it from bootloader, it can corrupt your sdcard. Do it from recovery.
Go into recovery, wipe cache, dalvik cache, factory reset and system. Then install the CORRECT rom.

How can I reflash?
Thanks
-edit-
I was able to get back into TWRP. There I tried to do a factory reset but it tells me it failed. And after installing CM10, do I have to go back into bootloader and flash boot.img from the CM10 nightly zip file?
And there goes my stock rom... Factory reset is not working on TWRP and tried system reset thinking it would get rid of CM10 but instead erased my stock rom.
Please help, need a working phone soon..

There are stickies and tuts around here for this.. but, the reason why it's not working for you is you didn't flash the boot.img first. before you installed the .zip. Also, you'll need the latest gapps for that ROM as well.
Not familiar with the forums around here, so if you could link me some of these stickies or tutorial it would be great.

I have this problem. i went to the thread you posted, loaded TWRP, I've factory reset and what not, but now I'm stuck in TWRP without any real viable options. When I try to reboot to system, it brings me back to TWRP menu.

Do you have a rom flashed? If so, wipe both caches and reboot. If that doesn't work, reflash and do a system wipe from TWRP.

[Q] Bizarre CWM problem on TF101

When trying to update my TF I accidentally flashed an incomplete Rom (got lazy and didn't check MD5...) Anyway, ever since then it ALWAYS boots into CWM (5.8.3.4) If I boot w/Vol DN and let it cold-boot then it will go into a fresh install and setup fine. However, on the next reboot it will go back to CWM 5.8.3.4 I have flashed the newer CWM 6.0.1.4 v2 but it won't "take" the install seems to go fine but it always boots back to the old CWM. I've also flashed other ROMS and they don't "take" either.
Confused...

Install different recovery... use easy flash and push either TWRP recovery or rogue recovery... personally I prefer TWRP recovery.. once you have a new recovery wipe everything ( internal memory also) and install a better ROM...

[OFFICIAL][4.2.2] PAC-Man ROM v21.0.1 STUCK ON LOGO SHOW

So i got the intall from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2178402
Wiped dalvik 3 times, wiped cache, formatted system and data.
Then i had to edit the updater-script to remove the first line. After i have done that the rom installed.
After rom installed i installed gapps without doing a restart.
After restart the phone is stuck on the logo show. (Pacman and 3 ghosts + samsung) The animation on the logo is goign so i gave it some time and it never boot up. Tried pulling the battery and another restart, still no go. On my second try i installed the rom without gapps thinking it might have caused the bad boot but it's suck again. Can you guys point me in the right direction? The phone doesnt give any feedback of what is going wrong.
I727, update from sky ICS(june), kernel 3.0(if i remember correctly)

Ok so i have installed newest sky ics again and the install wasnt a problem at all + everything ran fine. Then i went to update clockwork mod, downloaded the original pacman(the one with the line intact) reinstalled without gapps and still no go. I cant figure our the deal with this rob. Even tho im not a rom developer myself i have a strong programming background and i attend an IT college right now. Here's my 2 cents to the developer of PACMAN for Skyrocket.
1st thanks for all you hard work.
2nd. please make indicators during the install to see how is the progress going because right now it's like installing and then sucessfully updated. 3rd first boot should be console boot to indicate what is blockign the freakign rom. I spent my whole day trying to figure this out and noone would help + the app has absolutely no feedback for the user to trouble shoot.
Lol its not the ROM mate. Hate to tell you but its not also bootlooping on install is a common issue for some of you so my guess is you are not searching with proper terms.
Here is your bone: wipe cache and dalvik from recovery if its boot looping like that.

Switch to sk8's in the dev section or twrp never rely on ROM manager for anything on this phone. That still doesn't explain why your phone would reboot while wiping cache.

I have switched to twrp and it looks more advanced. I have tried to do a cache wipe and the twrp hang too. It seem like i cant access the cache E: patiotion. When i try to save logs from the phone i get:
Finished running boot script.
E:Cant open /cache/recovery/log
E:Cant open /cache/recovery/last_log
E:Cant open /cache/recovery/last_install
EataManager:; Output_version -- Unable to make
Copied Recovery log to /sdcard (Note the sc card wasnt even in the phone at the time of this)
Also when i tried to do a first dalvic wipe i got the same errors but after the first one i get the wipe complete message.
What are you trying to do right now? You probably had a bad download of pac man when you first started. Did you check md5 checksum? Now you don't have external SD card in? Its hard to help when not clear what you're trying to do.

1. Copy Pacman rom on external sd card.
2. Use latest Twrp and boot into recovery and select 'wipe'
3. Wipe cache, dalvik, Factory reset, system & internal storage.
4. Go back to main twrp screen and select install.
5. Find rom on and External card and install.
You should have no problems. It is a great rom.

[Q] trouble flashing roms on Nexus S

I haven't touched my Nexus S in well over a year, but I'm finding myself unable to flash a new rom. I installed clockwork recovery 2.6.3.0 via fastboot, but when I try to flash a rom (or even when I try to wipe the data) I get a red "failed" message.
Any new steps that came into play over the past year?

Isn't it TWRP that you tried to flash? 2.6.3.0 suggest me that. That version is not capable of installing 4.4 roms. I'm not sure if it has been updated yet.
So I'm using Philz recovery instead. You'll find it here: http://d-h.st/users/philz_touch/?fld_id=0#files
Choose between crespo and crespo4g folders, and install the latest one (6.01.0).
I don't know why are you unable to wipe data, hopefully updating your recovery will solve this problem too.
