[Q] Stuck on loadscreen - HTC Sensation

Morning,
Currently using CWM Recovery
Flashed Hypernonsense a few days ago with no issues, found I couldnt access the wifi hotspot option as it kept crashing settings, no worry I shall flash another ROM.
ROM installs fine, CWM is happy, reboot phone, passes HTC screen then sticks on the ROM logo screen, eg Cyanogen rotating ring. This has occurred on 3 roms I have tried, JB and ICS based. Luckily I have the backup from my original ROM so I can still use my phone.
Any ideas as to the stickiness?
Thanks

Did you clear the cache and data before installing the new rom? If you haven't, try that.

Yeah, did all the usual wipes, odd considering I flashed one successfully then it just sticks

same issue
I had this exact same problem, but I connected my phone to PC via adb, flashed the boot.IMG that was on my PC, and the phone rebooted with no problems. Hope I helped!

HI greeting
to boot into bootloader
remove and reinsert battery
press and hold volume down + power button till your phone boots
Your cell must boot into bootloader
write everything you see their
when abd/fastboot dosent work their are two possiblities
1 you do not have htc drivers
2 or your bootloader is locked

Or if you happen to have a Win 7 - 64 bit, try on a 32 bits machine. My Sensation doesn't respond in fastboot USB on my 64bit machine (my asus TF300T does, so it's HTC driver related but unsolvable for me), but it has no problems on my 32bit netbook.
As to why it won't show the bootloader screen, I'm puzzled. Maybe check if your volume-down isn't blocked by something since you opened it?

hmm might be you should install HTC drivers for 64 bit as I use 64 bit windows 8 and my sensation gets recognized in bootloader ...
install latest htc sync.

Been there and done that, but no luck. I tried several drivers, from 64bit HTC Sync ones to Generic 32-bits, it doesn't seem to make any difference for me. Even the sync didn't always 'see' my phone. On my netbook (32-bits) it has no problems whatsoever. So I've given up on it. Perhaps Win 8 is better? Anyway it's getting a bit off-topic. It's not a problem for me, but I merely offered it as a suggestion that it could be a similar cause.

My phone is Bricked? Help

Guys - I need help. I think i just blew my phone.
I flashed THE Sense-O-Maniac ICE ROM after a clean wife and my phone wouldn't boot. It kept getting stock on the Beats Logo. So I rewiped everything and reflashed this ROM. - Same result.
I then thought, maybe I should also update the firmware, though I am pretty sure, that my firmware was up to date.
So i reflashed the firmware on phone but it still wouldnt boot.
I took the memory card out and deleted the the firmware file so that I could not flash another rom. But when I tried to boot in Recovery my screen just went blank.
JUST BLANK
When I switch my phone on, I get a blank screen. The screen does light up though, but nothing shows.
If i connect the phone to USB, then the screen again lights up, even without the batter.
Has my phone gone poof??? Please help.
clean wife.
and why do u keep reflashing sense o maniac? why not try other rom?
Did you update your kernel or tried to use backup or install just old ROM, so far it doesn't sound bricked but just something missing, what was your previous ROM?

try "adb reboot recovery" continuously when booting the phone, ignoring all of the "error: device not found"
Boot while holding the volume down key (meaning power btn+ vol-). that should take you to the boot loader. once you're there, go to fastboot and flash a recovery image. you seem to have corrupted yours.
I had the same troubles with that rom.

i have been trying to do this for the past 10 mins, but I cant get anything.
All i keep getting is error:device not found.
The computer too does not give any indication of any device being connected to the Usb port..
You should boot into bootloader (vol- & power) then flash a stock gb ruu. After this you can proceed to s-off, root, firmware ... Etc

HTC Sensation need help please.

I've read all the tutorial threads and none seemed to work for me. I have a HTC Sensation, on stock ROM, Android 4.0.3 and software number (3.33.401.53 i suppose that is the firmware version). I tried to get it S-OFF, but that paperclip trick doesn't work for me, cause it goes to fastboot and after that command prompt hangs on Test 2. I tried using Hasoon2000 tutorial to install recovery, it hangs on sending recovery for hours. I used htcdev to unlock bootloader and it says **UNLOCKED**, but i can't move from there. I tried PermRoot from Hasoon's tool, still no luck. Can anyone help me????

No error messages. It's just wont get through certain steps. I start Hasoon2000 all in one, try the permroot, it goes to fastboot and after that nothing happens, i can still navigate through fastboot but dos program stops doing anything. I try to install recovery, it goes to fastboot normally, and program stops on "sending recovery". It reacts to computer commands to restart and so on but nothing else. Tried ControlBear, it stops on part where it should load Joupuntu loader... "Test 2...." . Can't even TempRoot it... Any ideas? Do you have any other link for HTC drivers?

since your bootloader is unlocked, probably you are able to upgrade it. I DO NOT PLEDGE IT THOUGH. but i suggest give it a try. http://www.mediafire.com/?1ed2y87pld66638 download that file and put it in root of your SD card then boot into bootloader, it'll ask for update, accept by pressing vol up.
but do this at your own, i did n am using right now, flawless.

Flash Rom from PC

My HTC Sensation started making trouble. It's S-off and has Revolution Rom but lately I only get pixel-snow on my screen. I tried to replace the screen but I still get snow (appears from the moment I restart the device). Last time it happened I reinstalled the rom and it solved the problem for a week.
I want to try and install a stock rom from the PC directly on the device. Is it possible and what do I need to do.
Thanks a lot

you can flash a stock RUU through your computer, this will replace every thing on your phone. you will loose your root and custome recovery but you will retain your S-Off status. you need to choose the appropriate RUU based on your CID. you can find a lot of RUU here in this link

and read the information here also

boot your device into bootloader
connect it to pc via usb(it should say fastboot usb in the bootloader screen)
from pc navigate to the folder where you have adb and fastboot files
open a command window there
do the command
fastboot getvar cid
read the information here in this guide (link below) to know how to find your cid, and how to flash the RUU properly.

I've installed the sdk and now when i connect to device to the computer it's not recognized at all. Due to the fact that i cannot see what's written on my screen (pixel snow storm...) I don't know if it's saying "fast-boot usb" in the boot-loader screen or even is i'm at boot-loader screen at all.
The pc doesnt recognize the devide so i cannot navigate to the folder with adb or check for CID....
Does anyone here knows the reason for the pixel-snow screen? It's not a lcd problem (I replaced it and it didn't change a thing), no one had this problem before? I know people had it before and usually they solve it by replacing the device (cause they have warranty...).

O.k I'll try to find where to get the drivers (help would be greatly appreciated).
One more problem I've encountered is that I cn't go to bootloader by Holding Vol down + Power button, The device just doesn't respond or it just runs in normal mode (power on).
btw - the link you've given me told me i need the htc sync for the drivers:
Step 3. Download HTC Sync Download Page Here
Now we have our SDK setup we are close to having our phone ready for ADB.
Download HTC Sync (It is a rather large file 148MB)
This will give us our Drivers for our Sensation.
Once downloaded run the .exe file and follow the on screen instructions.

i don't remember exactly the steps
but i think you open device manager from pc navigate to drivers and select update or something like that
by the way if you can't enter into bootloader or can't boot it normally or the led doesn't show red while charging
then your device might got bricked
try charging the device without battery, sim and sdcard for 5-6 hours
put them and try boot the device normally
if it won't boot then it is bricked

The device in not bricked for sure, I can restart it and get all the way to the Ring and also to the maid screen where I can press power-off and turn the device off buy touching the right locations on the screen (From memory...can't see the screen).
In device manager there is no such a general option to add or update drivers, one must choose the device for the update...don't know which one.
I think the problem is with the Quick restart, or something like that, that prevents me from going to recovery mode. The problem is that I don't know how to get to that location and change it cause I cannot see my screen. I need screen shots of revolution 6.80 to get to that point...
Is there any way to see my device's screen on the computer? what would help.

fastboot says "fastboot usb" but Adb devices and fastboot devices show nothing. whats happening is that even if i choose to power down in the fastboot menu on the phone, it will boot back up on its own, into the bootloader. I am able to boot to the OS if i am lucky by hard powering off (holding the power button), then letting go of the power button, and at a precise moment pressing the power button.
I've had the same problem, what i did was put my pc a few weeks back using recovery points. Then i was able to use fastboot again. After that flash a stock boot.img trough fastboot. My phone started up again.

[Q] LG G2 D800 ATT Download Mode no usb drivers install/com ports not recognized.

Okay. I've got a LG G2 D800 ATT flavor. Someone had a custom recovery and did the kit kat ota that soft bricked it. YAY!
I've tried various methods of trying to get everything back to stock(LG flash tool etc)
Only I always run into the same problem.
I can get the phone into download mode. but the computer will not recognize it. Usuually when I put other G2's into download mode the computer will recognize it and start installing. Not with this phone.
Ive also already replaced the charge port thinking it was a hardware issue of some kind, but the problem persist.
Any ideas? I can flash the stock rom fine if I could just get it to be recognized by the computer. I've tried on 2 machines running 64bit windows 7 and I've tried on machine running windows XP.
Obviously I've tried USb 2.0, 3.0, different cables, different ports, different computers, and even changed the charge port out and still nothing.
Cheers thanks for looking!
Can you get into recovery? If you have twrp you can just adb sideload a Rom and boot up.

Hmm. I'm not sure. When I attempt to go into recovery mode it gives me the option to do a factory reset. When I click yes a "TeamWin" shows up and the script runs. But I'm not sure how to directly boot into twrp. Sorry I'm a little new to this. Here is how I tried to get into the custom recovery:
Volume down and Power until LG logo is displayed, then let go of buttons and repress them after a second.
Is that the correct procedure?

If Team Win recovery shows up you have twrp. What script are you referring to? It should just show a menu of things like Install,Wipe, Advanced, Sideload..etc..
