I built a custom kernel for HTC Inspire. I tried to install kernel with Koush's anykernel.zip. When i install it from recovery mode i get installation successful. But phone gets stuck on HTC boot screen and nothing happens.
It would be great if someone can help me with the issue, or if someone can guide me to a different updater.
Is it a HTC Sense kernel ?

Hi everyone,
I couldn't find anything about this so I was wondering. What should I do/flash to get my camera working on the faux kernel? It now just shuts down immediately after it starts without warning or error.
I tried flashing the latest Amazecam and the "return to stock 3.5 camera" in the insertcoin addons directory.

Revert to stock kernal, its the only one that works with the AmazeCam
Faux's kernel doesn't have that problem, do another clean wipe, install the rom and the kernel and boot into the rom and see if it works.
I decided to revert back to the stock kernel and wait till Lee(Droid) releases a rom with sense 3.5 & one of his custom kernels.

I've been trying to find a good kernel to run on my stock rooted tmobile Rom 3.0 2.3.4 look for something liked brickeds kernel but everytime I flash it I get an error then WiFi is busted, any suggestions?

Could be that the ROM just isn't compatible with custom kernels, Try flashing some other and see what happens. Why are you keeping the stock ROM and trying to flash a new kernel?
Hello members of this forum. I did root my phone HTC Inspire and Install a ROM (link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1680418&nocache=1 ) that I leave the phone bricked. Look here in the forum and found the ROM GingerSense by Westito great. I remove the phone from the brick that I had but the sound does not work. My phone is root but still S-ON. Tell me, I can install the ROM from Sense 3.5 to restore the sound?
Did you full wipe? Did you flash the boot.img from fastboot? Did you try another ROM?
if a friend did everything you mentioned above . I tried all the roms based on sense 3.0 and none of them work only I published. Try a sense from 3.5, the set and said the process was completed successfully, but when you restart the phone remained bricked. So I went back to install the ROM developed by westito, but still no sound.

We are going to try to Install flashable htc camera app on cyanogenmod.
I don't have cyanogenmod so Can you flash this with your custom recovery
If it doesn't work try to uninstall cyanogenmod camera app first then flash it again

In my opinion you need libraries from stock rom to run this app.
