Problem related to touch

Hey....
I am using galaxy sl n it was first time when I updated my phone manually otherwise I went to service center n that time whn I update it with 2.3.6 ddkp3 version my phone starts lagging , n in a week touch panel stop working n I ned to replace touch + display....
Now am using 2.2 n whn I update over wifi .... It is showing no update available.... Now m afraid to update to gingerbread manually coz of previous accident.....what should I do?

there is no relation between updating phone and touch panel. don't worry... update your phone n enjoy..

i have this problem too
i update my device to 4.2.2 and it was so good in the first days but after that my touch become sometimes not respond and at the end i come back to 2.3.6 but when i open the device the touch panel don't work at all
please help me i don't know what to do now without the touch keys

Soft buttons issue galaxy i9003
Hello to all in forum
My brother bought this cellphone but with a problem and is that: The soft buttons does not work there are only iluminate when i use the touchscreen the phone has the frankenstein mod rom v3.8 base band i9003XXKPQ , kernel 2.6.35.7-CL709629 xda [email protected]_PC #14 and the recovery version is CWM recovery by amit.bagaria v5.0.2.8
All the phone works fine but i have this issue
How can i do to solve this problem?

Could i have any matter to make that change of base band of XXPQ to DDLF2?

My Tab (GT-P6200, Malaysia Version, Running stock 4.1.2 J.B. , PDA: P6200XXMD6 , CSC: P6200OLBMD5)
My questions :
1) Can I use this ROM ([ROM][18/09][XXMF1 V1.6 P6200][Aroma] EXCLUSIVE Fast | Clean & Rock Stable) ?
2) Is there any problem after flash this ROM? (Eg: WiFi connection problem? Or other else?)
3) The TAB can flash with different type of ROM? (Eg: different of country or PDA?)

This rom is international multi CSC, (Country Code Salt) is that part of the firmware that contains any customizations of the software provider of the country in which it is intended.
But as such there is no restriction to use any ROM for any country if your device is unlocked(carrier restriction free)....

Put zip Rom v1.7 in SD internal,reboot recovery,backup,flash zip,wipe data factory reset,
if you come from stock rom or another rom ,follow the istruction in aroma installer , reboot...If you have problems with installer reflash Rom v1.7...

And i have flashed cwm recovery in my tab than i have to go to in cwm recovery after pressing the volume rocker and piwer on button then when it shows me that to select option theniwill go to recover from sd card ( i have to put your rom ininternal memory right ??) Then how much time it will take to recovery or flash your rom ????

Is your phone rooted?
You need root to install this.
I have D838 32GB and it work for me

Backup,Full Wipe,Wipe Cache,Wipe Dalvik Cache,Install Rom works.
Only was not working Restore a Backup.
I make a Testrom,but Aborted Installation.Is my bad,i think the Updater Script have an Error,but the Rom works.

I can confirm this works on my D838 16gb Taiwan model.
Can't wait for CM11 ports!

But all works,without Backup Restore.
We can hope in the Future.

recovery without backup restore. riiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

The recovery is able to flash zip packages. I flashed a font and it worked perfectly!! The big question is if we will be able to flash a ported rom, lets say from G Flex for example.

Is it safe to use recovery.fex as recovery.img

So i went by a russian guy who made twrp for allwinner a33 tablets but im not sure wether its safe to use recovery.fex as recovery.img
You can search google for it as it is a youtube video
BTW i dont know russian so any help would be appreciated

In allwinner .fex are same as .img.. You can simply flash it by the dd method..

Backup: dd if=/dev/block/recovery of=/sdcard/recoverystock.img
Also adb shell ls -al /dev/block/by-name
to get complete list of partition..

I have a zipped file here contains Rashr app (for flashing) a readme.txt (for instructions) and a Recovery.img(A33 twrp) .
I dont know how to use it because the instruction said that i must use a multiple adapter for MOUSE AND USB.. I'm not sure if it is WORKING WITH ALL ALLWINNER TABLETS cuz i don't had any idea about allwinner chipset, so i didn't try it because im afraid of bricking my tablet ...
Please tell me if it is safe..

Yes, you are right it will not brick it because allwinner is hardly get bricked, worst case in that case you will loose your recovery partition, or stuck recovery which you cant do anything, usb adapter of mouse is like if somehow touchscreen of that recovery doesnt match with your model so there is universal support for mouse too make it work. Before using that flash app you must have root access too make it work, mostly allwinners are easy too root, search root genious windows app, it will root the tab easily i almost use that for allwinners variant.. BTW what are you up too? Why you need custom recovery?

Because i want to install new ROM on this device that supports overclocking /underclocking also a fast Rom (but i dont know where to get it(( I'll going to google it)
Also not only that.. I want to have a full backup of my device to make sure just in case..
I need to backup firmware for this.

After some custom rom installation , my phone started showing imei null and unknown baseband version .
Have tried all the tutorials available online . Unfortunately didn't have a backup . Tried flashing different Roms (stock as well as custom ) , have tried and flashed different modems as well . When I try and enter the service or engineering mode , all I get is a blank page . Have tried almost evrything . And I am not able to find the NVRAM folder even after rooting . I guess that could be the issue . Can someone share their NVRAM folder or guide me to an alternative solution . Thnks .

OP you need a service centre now .
You have no EFS backup to restore IMEI .

What is samfirmware ?? . Or do you mean Stock Firmware. and how will phone info restore IMEI ??

Well to be honest you are totally ****ed. How the hell you survive. Same happened to me when i had note 2 and didnt have a backup. Did everything but finally went to samsung store.
P.S. Those money suckers charged me around $107 or around ₹7300 and told me they had to replace the whole mother board (which they never do in this case and just fool people)

They just tells you that they changed the mother board but actually they just look up for the imei in their database of your phone and manually put it using some private software and Samsung servers which we in any case cant use . Its a matter of 10 to 20 min but took them 9 days to do it.
Samsung India service centers are damn slow

This is shows how important it is to backup Efs. Here in Russia you won't even find a Samsung store lol

Bro fear none, I had this issue once on my note 3. I didn't make any backup or anything and I ended up with a note 3 that doesn't have a sim card lol. Until one day I flashed a rom that i had flashed before and it turned out that that rom had made back up of efs but I didn't know. Anyways hope you flashed roms before losing it pal.

Hei. I also getting in your case in two weeks before i buy note 3 .. My ex phone is samsung S3, and i know it's will happen if you downgrade your firmware.. Then i flashed new firmware from sammobile.com but nothing happen in my signal.. After that i find another way .. I found a thread in xda . they share modem patch for s3 .. And then i just flash my s3 to lastest rom in my country then root and instal cwm then flash the patch.. After reboot my signal full and normal again .
In this case you can flash lastest firmware for note 3. And search modem flash .. Or you can put juat the modem from firmware to odin one by one .

well atleast, there are some apps that can change the imei no.s hope it helps you
