I don't know how to ask google this so I thought I'd ask here. How do I mod StockMod so that it will show 1x when it is supposed to instead of always showing 3g?

Hey guys. It seems like in the thread merging of the various theme threads, the white taskbar that I used to be able to find for 2.1 has gone missing. If anyone has it, could they post it up here? It's the white one that looks exactly like vanilla... I don't mind if it has 3G text or EvDo text either.
EDIT
I should mention that this is regarding Damage Control or Fresh... not Legend roms.

Don't know if this is the one you are looking for or not. It contains more than just the taskbar, but you can certainly use as a starting point / modify accordingly.

[REQ] (since settings>privacy is gone) Mod so txts don't show/scroll on lock screen
Sorry for the long-winded title, but for whatever reason I no longer have the "Privacy" screen that used to be in Settings>Privacy under "Lockscreen" and "Display message text":

Why would that now be missing and can someone possibly find a way to get that setting back? I don't need it on a toggle setting like in that screenshot, would rather it just always be that way. Thanks in advance for any input.
Have you asked/looked in the Themes and Mods section?
I did and found nothing except a mod to move the scroll from the notification bar to the bottom of the lock screen. There is nothing regarding not showing the text on the lock screen whatsoever. That Settings>Privacy setting did just that but now it is gone for whatever reason.
What ROM are you on? What sense version is the rom? What mods/themes have you tried or already on?
I'm running Fresh Evo 4.2 (gb 2.3.3) and just running ADW launcher. Only mods are the Super Circle battery mod and clock delete from the notification bar.

Your question belongs in the thread for the ROM you're running.
I have the setting to which you're referring in the ROM I'm running.
Please PM a mod to delete this thread, and ask the question in the correct thread.
There are other Evo users who are running STOCK gb who also lost that setting so it doesn't seem to be specific to my ROM whatsoever:

Either way, your post belongs in Q&A, or General, as it's not Development.
To troubleshoot any type of issue like this, the first step is always to see if it's like that before you make any mods. I would advise you to do a nandroid backup of your current setup, and then wipe everything and re-flash the ROM. If the Setting is there on a fresh flash, then one of your mods is causing the issue. If it's not, then it would have to be a ROM (or device) issue.
Have you tried that?
You could also full wipe and try flashing the ROM linked in my signature, since I've confirmed that the setting exists. If it doesn't exist for you, on a fresh flash, full/complete wipe (everything except SD card), then the issue lies elsewhere (i.e. not the ROM)

Not being rude, obscene but this kinda of sounds just like the sprint reps stuff like a computerized generated responce, also it is there getting no talk because nobody truly reads the Q&A section. I have the issue also.

Regardless if anyone reads Q&A or not, that is where this post belongs... well at least there or Themes/Mod. It looks like there already is a post about this in Q&A too.
Also, I beg to differ. If you look at General and Q&A, both are very frequently traveled. Almost every question asked has a reply of some sort.
As to OP, it seems to be 2.3.3 specific, so you would have to ask someone to mod this or ask HTC to fix it.
+1 github and leo...Throwback, I wasn't meaning any disrespect or back-talk, but i also think this belongs right here. It isn't a theme or an app, it is a feature that disappeared in the latest update for whatever reason. Github, thank you for the input. I don't know why that page went away and I guess I'll just wait to see if someone can mod it but in the meantime I'll contact HTC and see if I can make any headway.
I think there is a mod for this by steelh himself...you can get to it from the lock screen mod thread pinned in the themes and apps section...might be the one you need.

That's correct. There's a mod from JsChiSurf for Froyo and I ported it over to GB.

I'm new around here, spend a lot of reading and a lot use the search box to solve problems, but this time search and did not find any answer to my problem, I have a One XL, to actualize what rom 4.2.2 with Reduced cleanstrip says right here, you delete some apps and change a few other things but I can not do is remove the icon from 4G next to the signal bars, I remember in the cleanroom to install instead of 4G I went out H + and only when activated data mobile, whereas the 4G icon stays active even without active mobile data, I would like to know that I have to edit to remove that annoying icon.
PD. sorry for my English, I'm from Costa Rica and my native language is Spanish.

I'm not sure about cleanstrip, but Viper 4.0 doesn't have that problem. When you turn off mobile data, the 4g / data icon will go away. The ROM even gives you an option to hide it completely. Unless you're using cleanstrip for a reason, I would try out the new Viper Rom! Hope that helps.
Btw I'm a little aghast to find this thread under Development when it should be under the Q/A section . Hopefully a mod will move it.

That's because the developer has added the at&t icons to the ROM. With at&t icons activated, the data type icon stays visible whether you actually have a mobile data connection or not. If you want to use a 4.2.2 Sense 5 ROM with standard icons there are a couple of others to choose from. I'm running MagioRom right now with the Beastmode kernel and it's great.
PS. Questions always go in the q&a section, not the development section. I'll ask for this thread to be moved for you. In this case you didn't really even need to create a new thread, you should have asked this question in the Cleanstrip ROM thread.

The AT&T icons are a pain in the butt. Just my opinion, there aren't many modifications in cleanstrip aside from the network icon, that you couldn't just do yourself. My suggestion would be to flash Turge's stock Sense 5 ROM, then remove the T-Mob apps yourself.

Could some one please point to the link for mod samsung Active Applications app with no icon title? I have been combing xda. Cant find any. If there is none, im sure experts here can easily make one. Would really appreciate it. Thank you.
Would be perfect if the app can be transparant as well. That would be the ultimate. But I would gratefully settle for one with no title.
Can anyone help me get back a voice icon? I've switched to the latest M and no longer have the icon or widgets for voice search. I'm not a fan of saying "OK Google, blah blah...". I really like having a one touch icon on my homescreen. Thanks

You didn't specify on which device you installed Android "M" Marshmallow, but your profile mentions the Nexus 6. In the Nexus area I see several subforums and threads dealing with "M", including a general discussion thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/general/android-m-discussion-thread-t3120782. I suggest you ask your question there where other members are likely to be able to help you. Since you're a long-time member, I'm sure you can find a similar thread for another device if the Nexus is not what you had in mind.
