getting rid of "development purposes" screen during boot - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

hi all,
I have rooted my one xl, however now it says "This build is for development purposes only. Do not distribute outside of HTC without HTC's written permission. Failure to comply may load to legal action." during bootup.
Is there a way to remove this text?
Regards!

Can you give me a link to a modified hboot for my One X? It has 2.14 right now. S-OFF. bootloader unlocked. and its running CM10

Can you search? There was a post just before yours asking the same thing. So no hand holding for you too.

(Help) I need to brick this phone

I already tried flashing different roms answer kernels dose anyone have any suggestions
Throw it out of a window
Can't do that has to be bricked
Sent from T-Mobile's galaxy S 4g for a minute until the SIII is released in the United States
Sounds like someone plans on bringing it back to the store Try flashing a different HBOOT from a different device? Maybe this (custom HBOOT with S-OFF for Nexus One). Take out the file and 'fastboot flash hboot "file name goes here"'.
May I ask why you want it bricked?
i think in america if you brick it you can return it and say "oh it's not working"
Have you tried boot.IMG's? Try a hox rom/kernel/boot.IMG maybe?

If you have to ask how to brick a phone, you're doing it wrong.

you cant pull the battery.
Try flashing an ruu then unplugging it half way through.
Why do you want to brick it ? Try helping someone to get S-OFF for us all if you aren't bothered about bricking your phone

One of the various reasons why the "one-click" methods always look suspicious to me. It often ends up being "one-click root method for every phone . . . except HTCs".
But by all means, OP should try it, and let us know.

Actually, this makes perfect sense in theory as you use that to root. It says nothing about unlocking the bootloader.
Once you have root, you could then SuperCID and then unlock your bootloader.

Can you get into fastboot or restore mode? If so, you can use the stock RUU and recovery software to get your phone back to square one. This thread has the link. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1814217

You don't need to be in fastboot or recovery to run an RUU.
Plus, if the bootloader is unlocked, the RUU won't run until its relocked.

The phone needs to be detectable. So it must be in ROM, fastboot or recovery. If it cannot detect the phone, ruu won't work. If the phone is stuck at ROM loading, this is also usually acceptable for detection for ruu.

System can be wiped (no ROM), and device is still detectable, and RUU will run.
Anyway, I was commenting on the previous users statement that you MUST be in recovery or fastboot to run the RUU, which is false.

Dude are you even reading what we're saying? Which phone do you have?
Actually don't do anything. Don't do a thing. You have no idea what you're doing. You need to do a lot of reading and educate on the basics of Android.
First: find out what phone you actually have.
Second: go to that device's forum and stay in it.
Third: read.
Fourth: read.
Fifth: read.
Sixth: read.
Hopefully you're getting the picture.

Why don't you take the time to read through the forums before asking questions? You just try to download and run without reading and trying to understand what you're doing.
AT&T cannot unlock bootloader through HTC dev until superCID is achieved. Motochopper exploit within the AIO toolkit will temp root and give you supercid, then you unlock through htc dev, then you can flash recovery then flash su then S-OFF. then flash whatever. There's a ****load to know about this phone so we don't like taking the time to re-explain to every lazy noob there is, if you're not willing to read and learn and search you're going to have a lot of problems so you may as well stay stock.
