Hi,
My problem is the same with JaggyRom 3.2.1.
I want to receive email update on my phone, but when the screen is off, I feel that the data connection is lost, while the mobile network setting is ON. So the email notifications (for example) don't work.
I am often forced to turn off and then turn on the screen for the data connection works again.
Any idea ? Thanks a lot !
Report to the dev! don't simply create Threads
It must be due to the power managment script or something of the rom to increase battery life
As told contact the dev or flash another rom
On my wifi
widget it just keeps spinning and wont stop.
Turned off twice and took out sim card then restarted it but no help.... Then i did factory reset from settings still no help....
My android vision is official rom from manufacturer's website and other people are not experiencing this problem...
I think i installed profile scheduler named like Lama which asking something like location identifier using mass communication etc etc may be that is causing problem.. But i did factory reset and still:'(

Hi guys,
on KitKat I used this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.thinksoft.ipulse&hl=it
for manage my data connection. When screen is off, it stops data connection and every x minutes automatically turn it on for x minutes and turn it off data again. I use this because at work I have a very poor signal and it helps me to save battery life.
Now, I see that isn't compatible with lollipop yet, so is there a similar app that work with lollipop?
I cannot find anything, is the main reason that stop me upgraditig to Lollipop.
Thanks!
Hello,
Whenever I turn off mobile data, I get a popup saying "Unless you connect to a Wi-Fi network, you will not be able to use the Internet...", is there a way to turn this popup feature off?
Thank you in advance.
If you're talking about doing it through the settings, then no. Third party apps have not really worked for me on the S6 when turning data off but you can try some data switching apps from the play store.
even I. hey this annoying pop up .. everytime I. turn off data.
hello everybody.
i recently got a problem , as we know, in the dev option , there is a setting that enables mobile data on even while Wi-Fi is connected.
i set it on , and then once i connect to wifi the data off immediately.
first of all i thought might be some of my apps interfering the system so i just did factory reset , 0 app installed , i didn't even update the pre-installed apps.
but still same thing , i tried reboot like dozens times, enable disable wifi , enable disable data connection ...etc.
nothing works out...
any idea please ?

So basically you want both on at the same time? Or to change automatically from WiFi to LTE when not in WiFi range?

i wanna them on at same time , just like the screenshots of this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/help/wifi-data-time-t3349520
i have been googling around , funny thing is i saw few users got them on at same and try to get rid of it and i am desperately try to get them on ...
Can confirm it worked using developers options setting, 4G & WiFi enabled simultaneously yesterday when I read this thread
Just tried it again now and it won't enable 4G unless I disable WiFi
Looks like a bug with the OS, not just you
Report to Samsung and hope for a fix
Just download Google duo app and run.
