You shouldn't compare these 2 devices at all. It depends on what you need: a phone or a tablet?

Antutu-
GS3 a bit over 6800
Nexus 7 ??? (Antutu isn't compatible with Jellybean yet =/)

Yes when you overclock it the nexus 7 can go past 7,000.

The Nexus 7 would fit the bill, it has Jellybean and it's primarily a multimedia consumption and gaming device.

If u want device for only gaming and multimedia then go for Nexus 7
but if u want a phone with fastest processor then go fo S3
Nexus 7 is much much cheaper than S3 and has tegra 3 for which u surely will get extra games with thd version with better graphics coz of Nvidia
Never go by benchmarks as they don't say much about performance...
If you are thinking of buying Nexus 7 in India you won't be able to get it before October although you can get it online through ebay or other sites{ don't know whether ebay delivers stuff in Nainital as in Almora it doesn't deliver such stuff }

Got an S3 and could be happier! The screen is large and great for media but it obviously isnt as big as the Nexus 7's. Personally, the S3 is the way to go!!

Without any doubt go for nexus 7. Else go for s2 only. Because remaining phones are useless.

If u want to mod n mess with your phone, u might need warranty.at least til u get the hand if the sgs2

i will mess with the fone in the beggining only than i will use a stable custom rom
and secondly my galaxy sl is also out of warranty now so it so it is more likely to get bricked instead of a new fone

Thats what I meant .in the beginning u might need warranty as u might screw up the phone in the chakkar of modding it.I feel this I cuz I screwed up my motherboard but my phone was on warranty.got free replacement

instead of nexus 7 m planning to buy and indian brand domo slate n9 se which is also a good option as it cost only 6000 , very cheap compared to nexus 7

For cheap get a spice stellar 355. Loads of features, and there's a desi dev who's got it and is working on stuff for it.

for 60% u can buy Note 2,wher u can buy from custom pls tel

galaxy nexus might also be a good option.i think it is available in india in about 21-22k.

Galaxy Nexus doesn't have warranty covered in India. SGS2 the best. Go for it.

but the price of s2 is still abt 25 k and since nexus will also have good development as s2 and can receive more official updates.

if you buy the N9, you properly will regret.
I got 1 Sanei N90, same spec even 7500mah battery, can hold only 1 day if flash CM10. If stay with the ori rom, it lag like hell.
for the A10 processor, if you see in the net, you properly find out that can be OC to 1.5Ghz, i tell you,, it even not able to pass 1.2Ghz.

I have B92M, but dissapointed with only 2000 mAh battery, with often 3G WCDMA internet surfing battery is over for about 5 hours.....crazy......

Good friend trade I have a phone the same as those you already got your route it is a sansung my s3 clone mtk6588 1 micro chip and a chip standard.

you have to give more info what you love most.
battery?search for some lenovo.
screen? find the 1920 hd screen.
availability? take the mtk6577 or 6589 (without T), with Max 1gb RAM.
users? check the total pages of the dedicated forums.
development? see the total roms and mods available for each phone.
the key is know what you need, and read alot.
me now using star s5.
reason: nice looking, not too big, good battery, great screen, have some custom roms

I've got an I2000 MTK6589 and everything is working in the UK.
I got Vodafone in the one slot and Ovivo in the other, screen is great and build is great.

Sapport 3g dual scard. 5 inch lcd. Try check gsm arena for more info. Wort to buy. In malaysia is 799 in dollar i think around 2 to 3 hundred or less.

Good mini smartphone 4.7-4.5 inch advice requested

Hi folks,
Recently my daughter crashed her Samsung Galaxy S4 mini phone. I started to look for some decent replacement. Decent I mean: 2GB RAM, at last quad core processor, memory card slot, Lollipop on board
Problem is that she has really small hand so the phone cant by big. After looking for few days I was very surprised, that there is almost no offer in this range - most producers moved to 5"-5.5" range.. I found only Samsung A3. Other mini phones were just rubbish.
Can you advice anything good ? Maybe I missed some phone ?

I know right, I have exactly the same problem. You may want to take a look at Jiayu G5 (if it's still available), or Xiaomi Redmi 2. Both have quad core processors, memory card slots, although no Lollipop. Xiaomi Redmi 2, depending on the version, has 2 GB RAM.
I heard great things about the Moto E as well, though that's really a budget phone (albeit not that much cheaper) with Lollipop, low MP camera (which she may deem important to know), but only 1 GB RAM.
That market is difficult.

It is on my short list. My wife has Redmi 3 and it is pretty good phone. Battery endurance is shocking.
But Redmi 2 i pretty wide: 67 mm while S4 mini was only 61 mm

She was usually able to kill battery in her previous Samsung galaxy s3 i9300 within 1 day. With Redmi 3 she was not able to go below 3 days. Usually lasts 4-5 days. .
She does not play but do heavy web browsing.

Yep. You get 8 core snapdragon with 4000mAh battery, decent built quality. I think it is currently the best deal for 5" phone worldwide.
Just have to root and get rid of chinese crap or load multilanguage developer rom.
It is no worse then my 5.5" Lenovo Vibe P1 costing over 100$ more.

The A3 is more than enough , she's just a girl so i guess she only uses social media apps and some light games , in my opinion the A3 is a pretty good deal.
