Mount problem BC1003 tablet - General Questions and Answers

After i put a new image on my tablet i have a strange problem.
I have a tablet with 1 gb internal system storage, 12 gb internal storage, 12 gb external storage ExtSD 1 8gb and ExtSD2 12GB.
I Put a new image (original) on my tablet BC 1003 with Livesuite 1.07
Rebooting is normal, but i get every reboot the message "damaged SD card" witch schould be formatted.
When is formatted this card i los all my data from my 12 gb internal card, so some how somethings wrong with link or so...
I can get my ExstSD2 card working when i go to Root Explorer to my my ExstSD2 card.
I see this card mounted as r/o, then i click on Mount r/w and go to settings/ storage and Mount ExtSD2 card this card wil be mounted and i can use it again.
When i connecte the tablet with USB on my cumputer can see and use all storage cards as normal.
I formatted the card several times and works normal...but after a reboot i lose this setting and my ExtSD2 card is not working anymore....
A couple of time i flashed the whole image but every time i getting the same error after a reboot: "damaged SD card"
Any idea wats wrong?

[Q] External SD wont mount to computer

As the tittle says, my external SD card will no longer mount to my computer. The internal mounts just fine. I can see the external using a file explorer when USB mass storage isn't connected. I use my external card as a "thumbdrive" constantly and it has always mounted just fine, this just cropped up today.
I am running Bionix2 if that makes a difference.
What can I try to get it mounting properly again?
UPDATE:
I have tried turning on and off USB debugging
I have tried pulling the SD card, booting, turning back off, reinserting the SD card and booting again.
I have tried uninstalling the LG driver from the computer and reinstalling it (ADB)
None of these have worked.
The empty drive shows up in "computer" as a drive, the SD card just never mounts to it. When USB mass storage is ON the SD card definitely unmounts from the phone.
This is very frustrating as I need some files off the card and I don't have access to a micro SD card reader.
UPDATE2:
Got the files I needed by copying them from the external card to the internal card, connecting, mounting and copying them from the internal card to my computer. It is still a PITA though not as urgent as it was.
So last night I pulled the SD card, copied everything off and formatted it on my computer, didn't change a thing. I was then going to reload the ROM I am using. This didn't work as I am running external CWM recovery and it wouldn't mount the SD card either.
As a last effort before trying another card, I formatted (erase=format?) the card through Android. Everything seems to work fine again. I copied everything back to the SD card without an issue. CWM sees it again as well.
What could have caused the card to spontaneously need to be reformatted through Android after working perfectly well for 2 months?

I had the same issue, I think when you install different roms some use different ext for the drives, thats why its critical that after each rom you wipe wipe wipe, and as we know now, lol format sd card

Mounting SD card Problem?

OK, so today I decide to root my LG G2X and install cynanogenmod 7 nightly build.
After, it install, I decide to restore my back up data but when I open Linda File manager, it only mount external sd card. So, I went to cynanogenmod setting and use internal storage. When I reboot the phone, now it only mounting the internal sd card not external sd card.
So, my question is it is possible to mount both internal and external sd card in cynanogenmod 7 nightly build? For example, use internal card as a location for apps installation and use external as media storage.

My phone isn't mounting SDcard

My phone isn't mounting the SD card...its not mounting my 8gb memory card..but it mounted my other 2gb memory card...how can I mount my 8 gb sd card ..it was working perfect today morning. When I put it in...it shows "preparing sd card" on status bar .. but suddenly "sdcard removed"... is my 8gb sdcard corrupted? but it opens in pc when i put it in an sd card reader.
The things that i did with my sd card before it got fcuked are:
. Removed the partition
. Formatted sdCard.
lol i found the problem...i changed my sdcard's system to NTFS by mistake

[Q] HTC Chacha not detecting SD card

My phone is unable to detect my SD card, details are as following:
1] I tried with two cards, one 4GB class2 card and 32GB class10 UHS-I card. Both cards were working fine before I messed up. (Scroll down to see what I did)
2] Both cards work fine on other phones (Lumia720, lenovo P780) and in my laptop when I connect them using card reader.
3] Other cards work fine in my phone. (Cards from Lumia720, lenovo P780)
4] Phone detects above memory cards (4GB, class2 card, 32GB class10 UHS-I) in Recovery menu. (I browsed it when I was trying to "install zip from sd card". And I could browse the entire sd card with no problem.)
5] In ES File explorer it says "SD card unmounted or not present". In "SD & phone storage", it says "Total space: unavailable", "Available Space: Unavailable". In camera app, it says "Please insert an SD card".
6] "fastboot oem enableqxdm 0" is not working.
Here's what I did:
Everything was going smoothly.
1] 4GB card was in the phone, I did hard factory reset without unmounting the card. When I rebooted, above error occurred (SD card unmounted or not present).
2] I bought a new 32GB card, it was working fine in the phone.
3] While 32 GB card was inside phone: I installed "Superuser-3.0.7-efgh-signed" using "install zip from sd card" menu in "recovery" mode. When I rebooted above error occurred (For 32GB card).
4] I inserted previous 4GB card, it got detected and was working fine.
5] I did hard factory reset without unmounting the 4GB card. When I rebooted, above error occurred (with 4GB card).
Now both cards have above problem (SD card unmounted or not present).
Very strange problem. Will be glad to hear solution.
Thanx well in advance.

No, I formatted it using "MiniTool Partition Wizard". I can't detect SD card from "settings - phone storage" menu.
Mini Tool is to blame for that issue. I messed up a couple of SD Cards with it. The only way I could revive them was this: Find an older phone (not smart phone, some older Nokia or Samsung - I did it on Samsung J200) and insert the SD Card in it and format it within the settings of the phone. It should do the trick.

TWRP won't read External SD Card or /mnt

I've been rooted for a while without any issues, until recently I'm not sure what happened but suddenly TWRP won't show the /mnt folder or be able to access anything on my SD Card, I've tried mounting and selecting the SD Card in TWRP settings but it displays 0MB and won't select it. All I see is my Internal Storage files, which means I can't flash anything easily. I don't know when it happened but it was working about a week ago. I formatted my SD Card as ext4 in TWRP itself and also tried NTFS on Windows.
NOTE: I can view the SD Card in Solid Explorer and on my computer, TWRP is the only one that can't mount/read any SD Card files or even recognize it.
Is there any way I can work around this without formatting the SD Card?
