is there a comprehensive user's manual for the Galaxy Note 10.1? Where would I find it? Does it go over all the features of the built-in apps?

You will never do this without rooting...
...and even if you are rooted, they all require touchwiz framework, so it is no simple task at all. I know you probably dismissed the last post of "buy a samsung" as dismissive, defeatist and unhelpful, but if you really like Samsung apps, then that is truly the way to go.

I actually posted this question keeping in mind that someone is going to say "Buy a samsung device", well the fact of touchwiz framework was totally out of my mind, so . . nevermind, I shall stick to Nexus only..
Hello everybody. I'm a S Health user.I use it with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge+Samsung Gear Fit 2+Samsung Gear S3.In the same day, but not at the same time, I use Gear S3 (office/home) and also gear Fit 2 (sport/home).My problem is that I want to include in S Healt both steps and activity from Fit 2 and S3 (sum), but excluding steps from my S7 Edge. Is it possibile?
Thank you very much for tour help.

Can you try dening access to body sensors in permission for the shealth app and see how it goes. This will prevent it from counting the steps from phone

It might be the right solution. You mean in Settings - Applications management - S health - Authorizations - Body sensors?

Any update? I would like to use the fit 2 for most health tracking items (as I would more easily keep this on for sleep) and the S3 limited to only when I dont have the fit 2 and I do have the s3. You would think that they would be able to work together- if not one of them has to go...
thoughts?

I'm testing the solution above in these days. Fit2 and S3 work togheter well. The problem is the smartphone. If in S Healt you select data origin " all steps" S Health includes also the smartphone, but only a little part of the steps from smartphone. Probably is correct. I don't understand this number. Is not possible to delete these steps.

I wear S3 and Fit2 one at a time. Usually during the day I use the Gear S3 and in the evening and during the night the Fit2. S Health has a setting to choose data source for steps. If you choose "all steps", S Health added the S3's steps and Fit2's steps...and phone's steps.

In S Health, steps, above right command "other" and then "data origin".
Hi,
In which way can I delete the Gear S3 from S Health? I tried but it's always there. The Gear S3 is unpaired from my device.
If you haven't figured out out to get the phone pedometer turned off yet:
Disconnect the s3 and fit from S-Health, go into your steps in S-Health, click the "More" button, there should now be an option available to stop tracking steps (can't remember the wording). The graph will now display "paused" for your phone. Reconnect your other devices, "All Devices" will now only include the connected devices.

I have had experience with similar phones, I can relate to it. If you dont mind me asking why do you need Samsung messages, contacts, etc. You can just export or backup and transfer. I would advise not to mix up app data across different brands. Unless it is just temporary.

Samsung's apps are designed to work with Samsung's Touchwiz launcher that is installed on all Samsung devices. These apps will only work with Samsung's Touchwiz launcher. If you want to use Samsung apps on a non-Samsung device, you can try porting the apps to work on your device, you may have to port the Touchwiz launcher to work on your device so that the Samsung apps will work.
It won't be easy by any means. It might be best for you to find apps that are similar in function as alternatives instead of Samsung's apps.

I don't know, try doing a search for:
"How to port Samsung Touchwiz apps to other devices"
That should find enough information to start your journey.

I believe you are going to regret that very much, I can't believe you want to do that just for a simple messages app. You Samsung Kies or wondershare or whatever to move you messages. If you use the "Samsung" messages app that might be quite deceitful, might be worse than rooting the phone. Samsung will pissed.

It might be possible if you use a camera app from a Huawei device that has the same hardware architecture as the Samsung device that you want to use the Huawei app on. If it is possible, you will have to port the Huawei camera app to work on the Samsung device, you will have to port the camera to work with Samsung's TouchWiz launcher. How to port the app and what changes you need to make, I do not know, I've never ported an app, I just know it can be done and has been done with other devices.
Galaxy note 9 does not give me the option to uninstall a downloaded app, anyone having the same problem?
Hint: Add Galaxy Note 9 to this thread's title thus mainly owners of this device get addressed.

Can u provide a screenshot of this
It’s good practice to regularly audit and remove apps from your Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to free memory and ensure proper operation. Even if you don’t use an app, it may still run in the background and slow performance. Follow these steps and get rid of apps you no longer use.
From the Home screen, swipe your list of apps up.
Tap and hold the icon for the app you wish to remove.
Select “Uninstall” or “Disable“.
Hello All,
I have about 1000 Samsung Galaxy Tab A and Core A03 phones that are used in health facilities, am trying to find a cheaper way to manage the devices to avoid users installing unwanted apps and use. Any solution suggestions that do not involve the use of third party companies/software platforms?
Thank you in advance.
