Another program (for Windows) is Recuva. If you haven't copied anything new to the drive, you should have a good chance of recovering your data. It's saved me a few times before

On my phone, i open root explorer, sd and i can go to external sd. Hoever on my TF there is no external option. Why is this? TIA for any help.
Look in the 'Removable' folder, your external sd card will be there.

So I'm trying to free up some space because i only have an 8gb card, and i want to download the new Batman game, which takes up a lot of space. So my question is, are the lost.dir files needed? Because they take up a lot of space, but i don't know what to delete
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda app-developers app
You can delete them but they will keep coming back
If your lost.dir is taking up any space (past the directory itself), you have had filesystem corruption problems on that volume. That directory is used when the OS can't repair the filesystem and puts "orphaned" directories and files in there.

Try inserting it in some other phone and see what happens.
If that doesn't work, try using a card reader and check on PC.
If the PC reads the card, copy the contents onto the PC and format the card. And then use it in your phone.

Best option would be to flash stock and take the phone to the Customer Service.

Tens algum recovery instalado?
Talvez o recovery reconheça o cartão, se assim for podes formatar o cartão pelo recovery.
