Hey a while back I bought a Qcell 4200 battery which came with a blue and white back door cover. Both of which broke. I can't find an extended battery door please help I can't use the batter because the doors won't clip on. They're useless.
I have a white S3 so a white door would be nice , but not required.

But if it is not on eBay or Amazon then you will probably just waste your time looking.

Yeah, I need one, too.
Mine started making squeaky noise on one part and I think a new cover will remedy that problem.

I'd love to be able to buy a replacement battery cover. The official stock cover, that is. The soft-touch coating on the back of mine is already starting to peel off a little. I'm guessing the ridiculously hot weather where I live is to blame for that.
Count me in. I'd love to try modding a battery back and Seidio ActiveX case to accommodate a 2200mAH battery (using the exoskeleton plate to actually hold the battery in place), but I'm not brave enough to cut into my one and only back to try it.

Actually yes. The output is really too brittle unless you're just doing the dimensional prototyping. Since I use a hard case it would cool to see a back with a cutout in the stock back and take advantage of that extra couple mm.

I seriously doubt it.
For one, even if it did fit you would have to use a dremel or something to accommodate the bigger kickstand on the TB.

I got it months ago for my incredible. Hoping it would fit the Tbolt. First, not the battery. second, different snap on angle to lock it into place. Wait for Mugen to come out with thier battery. I asked Mugen they told me its on its way..

Hello cjmcmillion
Look at your battery cover, now back to mine, now back at your cover, now back to mine.
Sadly your battery cover isn't mine, but If it stopped being an Evo battery cover and switched to a Thunderbolt's it could fit like mine.
Look down ...back up... where are you? You're in a store with your battery cover wishing your cover could fit like mine.
What's in your hand? ... back at me. I have it, it's a cover with a fit you love. Look again, the cover now fits a Thunderbolt.
Anything is possible when your battery cover fits like The Thunderbolt's and not an Evo.

http://www.amazon.com/Seidio-Innocell-3300mAh-Extended-Battery/dp/B004IK8EYM
What i paid and i doubt its much cheaper then that elsewhere so unless you want a crap battery i think its a really solid price
I have the same battery. The cover doesn't stay on. Like ever.

Not trying to start anything but that is just as "crappy" as batteries you mention.
Seidio is known for their overpricing, you do NOT get $74 of battery when you buy that, not even $60. For ~$20 I'd just go for the OEM 1800mAh slim battery from the Epic Touch....just kidding I'd get two extendeds for $19 shipped *NEW*
I actually just took out my seido for the first time in a long time. I'm so tired of the back coming off. Plus everyone looks at my phone like it's a mutant with that back piece. Feels so much thinner

i would do it you dont really need a protective case just get a screen cover and a battery with a new back plate i like the 3500mah the back plate i got with it is perfect a little bigger but so worth it you can get the cheap on ebay just look for good feed back. Mine works like a champ and if any thing happens i just use my old battery and back plate.
sucks that the cover wont stay on. I need something to extend my battery.
I'm still concerned with how the phone will look so I'm not about to order through mail. Where can I go in person to buy an extended battery and cover. I live in NY and called a lot of T-Mobile stores and they said they do not sell extended batteries. And I'm assuming my nice shiny black rubber case will not fit anymore. Do they sell cases as well to fit the extended battery cover. I meant to say battery cover instead of case in the title but could not edit.
Every listing on both Amazon and Ebay contains photographs, so I'm really not sure what else you want. And it would astound me to find a brick and mortar that sells extended batteries for this phone.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using XDA Ultimate App
I saw them only on Amazon and eBay. I have not seen them locally in my area. Go look at some of the post about extended batteries to see the size.
Later I post pictures of both.

I used to drive right by Sedio twice a week. They said they did not have a storefront, so I could not just come in and look at stuff.
You need to fly to China or Hong Kong to see them in person before you buy.

the phone is not that bad with the extended battery and as far as I can tell there is not a hard shell case I haven't seen one I am hoping someone makes one soon but I doubt it.
Amazon is safe. I have a stock size 1987mah battery and a 3500mah battery with the large rear cover. The quality of fit and finish is surprisingly good on the big back. I generally run my big 'stock ' battery but, it is nothing compared to the 3500mah

I too was concerned about buying a case that may not look good. Personally I went on YouTube and searched G2x trident case, which was the case I was looking at, and they had great hands on reviews for it.
Regarding an extended battery, I most likely would check amazon and read some reviews on some.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
Jeez! On eBay the battery and new back cover start at around $7.49 with free shipping. For that price just buy it and if you don't like the way it looks, toss it.
Right?

I bought a flip cover, but it doesn't go all the way, and doesn't completely close. I removed it, and installed it again but that didn't solve it. Is it meant to be like this? I thought that it was supposed to snap magnetically and fully cover the screen
I have also installed a zagg screen protector installed, but I don't think that that should cause a problem like this. Is this a case of faulty design, or misinformed consumer? Pic included below.
I had the regular one and was not impressed. Did about the same...
Too much money for such a poor performer...
Yeah same issue here.
I am hoping the OtterBox for the S4 is going to be out within 2 weeks. If so, I'll return the S view cover for a refund and get the otterbox
The S-View cover DOES NOT magnetically close. Nor does the regular flip cover.
This is by design.

I didn't expect it to be magnetic, but if I lay my S4 down on a flat surface the cover should go down all the way. Mine stays open about 1/2" and doesn't fully close unless I hold it closed...

Wow, this case was like 60 bucks. This is just horrible design, which is a shame because I was looking forward to it. Back to ATT this cover goes -_-. Now to look for another case.
glad i opted ut of the original and bought a knock off from aliexpress for 8 bucks
It s just new, set it facing down for a little bit for it to set in.

Yeah I feel it should be magnetic, its 70 bucks for ****'s sake. But like the post above me said, it might just need to break in or be set face down for a while

Tax? Either way $59 doesn't sound any better for a case that doesn't stay shut on it's own, I wouldn't even pay $39.

I think you both got taken as I bought my s-view cover from a Smartone (mobile network operator) store here in Hong Kong for USD$29 yesterday. God knows why it's so expensive in the UK and US!!! It's a nice cover but definitely not worth $60
Yeah and there are $8 knock offs on Amazon already.

over a few weeks, it will loosen up and sit much tighter on the screen......but it still wont stay shut in the even of a fall...
I ordered this case from Amazon, but it must be coming on the slow train, because it's taking forever to arrive. I like that it has the s view option, but still protects the phone better than the official case. Hopefully it won't be a piece of junk.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CC1XSHW/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Mine closes flat and did as soon as I installed it, but others I know at the same event would not stay shut.
I tried this out on my phone yesterday at Best Buy and I didn't like it at all. The fitment felt off for me. It was kinda nifty, though.

Mine doesn't sit flat either. I'm gonna keep it a few days on it's face to see if it loosens up a bit. I only paid $20 for the official one so even if I don't like it it's not a huge loss.
