Well I'm curious because to get a 4.2 CROMI I guess we need to flash stock soooo...., do I just download from Asus site then unzip>rename then just flash? (I'm aware that I need to wipe everything)
And (for those who flashed it with twrp)
After flashing, or during flash does or say anything?
Thanks in advance!!

There are few stock ROMs in development thread which are flashable via twrp/cwm, you'll not gonna loose your recovery.

Though, I found the official stock rom in .zip format (100% confirmed)... should I use this ROM for flashing? Loosing recovery or root doesnt matter... i can get that back anytime...

I quoted just one question and i answered straight. Besides, your phone won't work perfect if it's bricked lol.
So yea, that question and that answer is sufficient for you to calm down and JUST FLASH IT. :good:
Hi guys. I need the 4.1.1 stock that I can flash on my phone so I can see if my UI lag is just a problem with 4.1.2. And also I need to know how I can do this. I have a nandroid but I don't know if my custom recovery or bootloader works with it.

Per your nandroid question, you aren't making sense. You can't do a nandroid if you don't have a custom recovery. The status of your bootloader is moot, it works fine either way since its stock, rooted firmware. Your bootloader status matters when you want to flash custom kernels or roms.
Were you looking for the bloated stock tar for Odin which removes root? Both VRBLK3 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 tars can be found in the guide by Open1your1eyes0 thread which is in the dev section. Search and you'll see it.
If you want the VRBLK3 4.1.1 rooted flashable zip for CWM/TWRP then do a search for this in the dev section cuz its fairly old. Flash it in recovery like you would any rom.

Yeah I didn't really word that to well. I needed the 4.1.1 update because I wanted to update to 4.1.2 through Keis because it is supposed to fix lag problems with S3's that came with 4.1.2 stock. I was worried that if I were to do this, it might not be compatible with my recovery. Sorry for the confusion.

Ahh ok, well I answered you in the General sticky as well. Odin flash VRBLK3 4.1.1 or VRBMB1 4.1.2 then you can take OTAs. Any time you flash a stock tar, this removes every trace of custom software except your flash counter in different download mode.

Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my tablet. When I try to install CM10.1 on my TF300T now, it won't boot. I've had it installed in the past, but for some reason it doesn't want to work now. Has there been some sort of change that would cause this? I can install CM10 on it, which I would have no problem using, but for some reason the AOSP Keyboard crashes every time I tap a text box, so I have no way of getting anything done. Any insight you could provide would be much appreciated.

check my post in the thread i linked (post 12 there ) - even if it is for a total softbrick - you can follow those steps to flash the stockrom and then install cm10.1 or 10.2
i did it and alot of others did it too so it should work for you as well. it basically wipes your whole device so fastboot will work to push the blob. boot one time into stock and then install cwm/twrp and install from there cm from extsdcard

Hi Guys!
Today I'd like to share how you can flash those .zip files without a custom recovery!
All you need is the Flash Gordon APK: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250555
This can flash recoveries, its made for people who have a locked bootloader!
The app is still in it's early stages!
All Credit goes to Androguide.fr for making this awsome app.
THIS APP CANNOT FLASH ROMS!!!
I shared this a couple of months ago in themes & apps section and i have it pre installed in my AVD Rom
K No Problem just making the community aware that xperie e locked bootloader is not dead and can flash zip files!
Yea i was glad when i found it so J users could update my rom without downgrading to ICS every time. So i released update patches

Everything but ROMS!
As long as the update zips are not replacing to many framework & lib files at once.
keep in mind you need busybox installed

without a recovery, no, trying to flash with Flash Gordon won't work out well because many system files will be replaced during the flash and that will force android to crash before the flashing has a chance to finish, resulting in a bootloop

Flashing? not really that well with android terms yet. after clicking "pda" then selecting the cwm file, should I click start? is that what you meant by flashing?

Your thread is changing direction but I can't resist commenting anyway. If your tablet is rooted, stock I don't think you will see big benefits to a custom ROM. For other tablets I use like the Kindle, Nook and N7 custom roms can make a huge difference. I'm running CM 10.? Or variants of that on those devices. My most used tablet is this 2.7 with stock ROM. If you must try another ROM, I'd suggest a sick based ROM that is deodexed with sound or visual enhancements. Also, changing to a noon, Touchwiz launcher will make big differences. GOOD LUCK!
P.S. quess what a ROMaholic might be.
