Hi ppl!
First, my device failed to get the OTA Update because I deleted some system apps (see my original post).
Then I found this post where another user restored original APKs in /system/apps and managed to manually update to JB by downloading the dlpkgfile in this post.
So I proceed, restored my /system/apps (with 755 permissions), rooted with OTA RootKeeper and SuperSU, placed the dlpkgfile and command files, restarted to fastboot (Power+Vol Down) and entered Recovery mode.
The green android with the blue progress bar went for over 10 minutes, then ... the android with the RED TRIANGLE appeared
After a minute or so the device restarted, an ASUS logo with a blue progress bar ran, but then it got stuck in the ASUS logo.
I'm still able to restart to fastboot (Power+Vol Down), where a message appears:

, and where I have 4 choices:
1. RCK: Recovery mode, when I select this the Red Triangle appears again.
2. Android: Normal android boot, gets freeze right away
3. Fastboot USB download protocol: Tried using ADB, but don't really know what it is. Here's an image of how the device appear in my Windows PC
4. Wipe Data: Already done this, seems to wipe user data, but still gets stuck on ASUS logo

I also tried downloading .30 firmware from ASUS website and placing the Zip contents in my SD card, then booting recovery but no luck.
It's pretty awful that everything went so bad, I'm hoping there is a solution.

You don't have a recovery to boot into

The problem is that the following commands:
fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system blob
fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system US_epad-user-9.4.3.30.zip
both produce the error: "Signature mismatch"
I guess it's becaus my fastboot is newer version, since it was actually installed during the JB update, but I'm trying to flash a older .30 firmware.
I gues I will have to wait ASUS releases the new firmware for manual flashing it.

Thank you for posting this. I wanted to try something like this with the new boot loader that came with jb but it appears flashing the older firmware will not work.

That is exactly what I'm wanting to know if it's even possible. If I can safely downgrade, I can re-root, but I'm limited on what I can do with a locked bootloader.

I dont see how this is solved......I have seen some people comment they have no fastboot or recovery,
I tried to do manual update in cwm and when I rebooted with adb all I have is asus boot logo, it also does not say I have an unlocked bootloader,
I have no fastboot no recovery no adb connect all I have is asus boot logo.......volume+-power does nothing vol down + power also does nothing.
how do you flash new firmware without adb or any type of recovery?

AFAIK you should still have access to fastboot, I'm newbie and never messed up by unlocking the bootloader

hmm, I lost my tablet for nearly a month then updated CM10 when prompted having connected to my new wireless. This of course (since the Oct update) put the ROM out of kilter with the bootloader. I didn't have an old ROM on the SDCARD, and old CWM so I couldn't mount an external to get a rom on. I tried pushing a rom to the SD with adb but the drivers weren't going in right and I just couldn't get any joy. I followed this thread to fastboot the current stock JB on in the hope that it would give me a fresh start but it's hanging now at the second (glossy) ASUS logo. I really don't know where to go from here. Is it possible there was a problem with the write?

Can you tell me how you erased memory from boot menu - or maybe i understand this in different way.
I have only bootloop and it boots to CWM where i cannot mount any SD card - not internal not external.
Also Vol down + power doesnt work - there is no option to enter fastboot mode....device just bootloops and then enters CWM...
Tried to push through adb but there is no SD card to copy files. Tried different methods but cannot mount any storage...

My fastboot is working but it seems that i cannot write anything on my internal sd card.. When i run fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system blob
My PC shows no erros - it does all the steps. But my tablet freezes and that it - it never unfreezes, i need to power it off.
But fastboot and abd commands work - like reboot or boot into bootloader.

I have an interesting problem:
I have a tf300t curently running JRO03C.ww_epad-10.4.2.17-20121018
I ended up here after an unsuccessful flash with twrp. Tried to recover my back up with no joy. At this time it would only boot twrp recovery, finally flashed stock via micro sdcard and got it to boot again! Only I had no root anymore, so I tried to boot into recovery and there was none. So next I tried to boot into bootloader and when I select fastboot, the tablet says starting "starting fastboot download protocol" but after nothing else happens. ADB looses it, and it just stops right there.
The good news is that I can still use the tablet, it boots and everything works fine but I have no root. I have searched and read and searched and read. I don't know if the reflash flashes the bootloader but that didn't seam to have any effect. If anybody could point me in the right direction I would sure appriciate the help.
there is a way on the TWRP instructions using terminal when you are in system

I saw on another site that with this tablet it will go into fastboot but wont popup as fastboot device on your computer, but you can still use fastboot commands. worked for me

No when I try to flash recovery it says waiting for device and nothing ever happens.
I seamed to have got it. I down graded to 10.4.2.9 and back to 13. plugged it to the computer and this time it installed drivers and that time I was able to flash recovery. I don't know what happened and it was probably something that I was doing wrong. But just incase that is what did the trick and it helps someone else, i wanted to be sure and follow up.
I just got my new asus transformer tf300t-bl and wanted to root and install either twrp or cwm on it,I unlocked it and when i went to reboot it i hit the volume up on the RCK and now its stuck on RCK and it didnt boot into the usb like it says it will on the forums. No you haven't you need to download fastboot and connect the tablet to your computer, on that screen just let it sit their.
Download the asus firmware. Follow the flashing fastboot guides here. You need to flash the blob file.

im a lil new to doing this so would you please give me a detailed list of exactly what to do. and what firmware do i need to download from asus. And can all of this be done using a mac? and how do i flash it all to my comp. or from it to the tablet.

i did everything it stated to do and when i get to the last steps to root my tf300t, it says adb cannot run as root in production builds. Im at a loss as to what to do at all. IM a noob, and i follow each command on terminal perfectly and everything executes till the last or itll say permission denied. What do i do or am i doing wrong. Flashing via fastboot works fine and I have already reflashed the blob file and reflashed cwm recovery. still the same issue: "Key driver not found" and upon chosing entering RCK it freezes. OS boots fine, no issue here. Any clues? Should I flash the stock kernel from Asus?

how did you flash fastboot and cwm and reflashed the blob files to your asus? on my terminal on my mac itll say cant execute root on production models and requests a password. Have you had the same problems? can u give me a step by step how u flashed cwm and fastboot and the blob files. and how did you install the latest firmware

well, I am using a win xp machine for fastboot. so I don't have the same issues. fastboot works fine, so that I use the normal fastboot process to flash the system and the recovery kernel.
I finally got it to work again by flashing the newest TWRP instead of CWM. It seems CWM does not yet work on the latest firmware.
I followed this guide for flashing TWRP with fastboot. This version actually also just asked me, if I want to root the device, I clicked yes and it was rooted. Perfect.

I am in EXACTLY the same boat as you. The only difference is that I flashed TWRP instead of CWM. I finally decided that it was time to root my tablet...got tired of the lag. IIRC I've gotten the "key driver not found.. booting OS" error message since doing the OTA update to 4.2 (I did this prior to rooting.) Everything SEEMS to be working okay, but this bugs the heck outta me, and I'm sure it can't be a good thing. Hoping somebody will chime in with a fix for this. I've searched and searched to no avail.
So I flash the stock rom on it without thinking and now it wont let me flash a recovery to the tablet threw fastboot or goomanager and it wont update throguh asus update but its booting fine and wont take any updates at all i need help being pointed in the right direction!

First of all it would be important to know what bootloader you are actually on. You do not want to flash a recovery that is not compatible with your bootloader!
So boot into the bootloader with Volume Down and POWER and read the tiny script. From there select the Android with Volume Down and boot back to system with Volume Up.
And then please report in detail what you are trying to do in fastboot, which commands you use etc.
Without knowing what you are doing we cannot tell you what you are doing wrong.....

bootloader version is us_epad-10.4.4.20-20121026
with a stock rom of 4.1.1
and trying to undo the rom cause im trying to put a stock 4.2.2 on it to get the drivers back on it from the stock rom.
in fastboot i just need to get a twrp installed and i can undo my mess

So you are on an ICS bootloader with a JB rom... How the hell did you manage to do that?
You did not answer my question about fastboot. What you tried and what did not work.
But anyway, how I would proceed, just to get you back into safe territory, is to download the latest Asus firmware 10.6.1.14.10, unzip the downloaded file once and copy the resulting zip to the root of your internal SD.
Reboot, and hopefully the stock recovery will recognize the update file and flash you to JB 4.2.1 (which BTW is the latest version for our tabs - there never was, and probably never will be a 4.2.2). Flashing the stock firmware will replace the bootloader.
So from there you just have to get fastboot working, flash the latest TWRP and then the custom rom of your choice COMPATIBLE with your bootloader and recovery.
If that doesn't work we have to try something else. But try this first and report.

Read the text in the upper left corner - current bootloaders enable fastboot in the bootloader menu automatically.
ok i got fastboot working and now it says when i got to flash the recovery it says error cannot open twrp.blob even though its the correct file.

Then maybe it's not in your current directory.

i found that and have been reading it but fastboot still cant read the twrp.blob even though its in the directory with fastboot.
ok ive re installed fastboot and adb sdk and did the environment variable path and it still wont recognize the blob it wont recognize cwm .img files ether and what does key driver not found..booting os

I have a TF300t that I have been doing custom ROMs on for over a year now. Not to long ago it messed up and I ended up doing a ADB side load of the the current software from ASUS to recover it. I wanted to try CM11 so I followed the directions to get the right version of TWRP installed. I noticed that it was really slow at stuff like wiping cache and dalvik, so I decided to reflash TWRP through ADB instead of a zip file.
All went well and I got into android and went into TWRP to see if everything went okay. I'm in TWRP, but I cannot do anything. Only system will mount and it says I am not rooted and wants to install supersu. If I reboot or power off it just goes back into recovery. Doing the power + vol down will not get me into the bootloader and will instead just power cycle at the ASUS logo.
Any idea on how to fix this, or did I just royally brick my tablet?

When you first reboot back into TWRP, try running fastboot commands. You may be able to reflash your recovery, or follow Buster's recovery method from there on.

I just get stuck at waiting for device. Is there a section I am supposed to be in? Or do I do it from the home screen for twrp? I checked device manager and it does have Transformer listed in other devices.

Use the reset pin on the SD card side and then reboot back into TWRP and try with "fastboot devices"

It's not finding anything and ADB sideload fails. I'm doing the fastboot commands from the fastboot folder I have been using with other fastboot stuff for the TF300.

hmm idk. Im guessing you flashed the wrong version of TWRP, which has ended up in a brick for most users, but they had fastboot access and could later recover it using this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44244313&postcount=12. You dont seem to have either ADB or fastboot, and TWRP is in a non working state. You could try reinstalling your fastboot and ADB drivers with the universal naked drivers, and then retrying ADB reboot bootloader and fastboot.
All fixed!
Here is what I did.
1.) Installed naked drivers following the guide at the link provided above. This allowed me to get into the bootloader, but I was unable to successfully flash anything.
2.) So, I followed this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44244313&postcount=12
Probably lost all my user data, but worth it for a working tablet.
HUGE thanks to cmendonc2 for the help and ultimately leading me to the correct solution.
