Did you wait long enough? If it is the first boot it might take from 10-15 minutes.
If else dont work, go back to recovery and wipe cache and dalvik, then fix permission. Most things work like this.

Flash 3.33 universal firmware from kohr-ah firmware thread (in development section)
Then re-flashed rom again
By the way is the error happening while flashing itself? Or the flashing went fine but the phone is not booting?

Hi,
I already have this problem with my Sensation when I installed for the first time custom rom. The solution was to unzip the boot.img from the zip you downloaded and flash the boot.img.
Here is the solution that works for me :
Install the android-sdk (if not already done, yoou have a lot of tuto about it)
Extract boot.img from the zip you downloaded (the custom rom)
Put your mobile in fastboot and plug your usb cable
Launch a windows cmd (or a linux terminal)
And execute the cmd line :
fastboot flash boot <PATH TO YOUR BOOT.IMG>
Then reboot your device.
Let me know if it solved yout problem

Are you doing all this steps ? Because I thinks you're doing too many things!
1 Install recovery (4ext for example)
2 Boot into recovery mode
3 wipe data/factory, cache and dalvik
4 Install custom rom from sdcard (and gapps if you need it)
5 Reboot
If you are still block on the boot logo (wait a long time, it depends on the rom), shut down by removing the battery. Enter in fastboot, plug usb cable, and flash the boot.img as i explained to you. If it still doesn't work, try with another rom to be sure all is ok with your device!
You don't have to flash the custom rom and flash again with the original, just follow the steps I write and all will be fine

Hi, don't worry. It is because whenever you are holding your power+volume- button , it boots into bootloader or HBOOT mode. This mode is intended to flash firmware package . ( i.e radio, HBOOT, Splash etc ) . That is why the bootloader searches your sdcard for the firmware package( PG58IMG.zip).
When it can not find it , it waits for user input , then u select recovery and press the power button.
In fact do not keep any PG58IMG.zip file on your sdcard if you do not want to flash your firmware. If this screen annoys you , you can use QUICKBOOT app from the market. By using this app you can directly boot into recovery. Alternatively u can open a terminal on your phone and type : "reboot recovery" . It will directly boot into recovery. If you are comfortable with adb , then type from your pc in the adb terminal " adb reboot recovery"..
yes thanks but now my phone is stuck in boot loop and i s wipe it then try to reinstall ics rom and still in boot loop any suggestions ?

Now that problem sounds more like a bad flash, re-download the ROM, check MD5 sums and if they match, reflash the ROM. If the MD5 Sums dont match then try another ROM
checked came back ok with a tick so isnt that ill try to install the old gingerbread rom then upgrade.
grrrrr getting frustrated now lol
nope didnt fix it still in boot loop any fix suggestions be greatfully received im lost now as to what to do.

Are u using an ics Rom? Ics 4.0.1 has a dedicated firmware to flash. So also ics 4.0.3 has its separate one. Search for there respective firmware and flash. You will b ok.

Happy to see that you have solved your problem.
Just one request , while asking any question try to give your HBOOT and Radio version i.e the full details of your bootloader screen. This will help people to understand your problem better.
Happy androiding on sensation !!

[HOW TO] MiUI 2.8.3 | DS

Okay, to make this clear, Im re-making the tutorial from miuiandroid forum, which is a little bit complicated if you are in noob mode.
So, first of all, to have MIUIv4 installed on your DS, you need the hboot 7.0. If you already have hboot 7.0 , follow from step 1, if you dont have hboot 7.0 follow all from step A :
Download this first : http://bigota.d.miui.com/tools/g12_v4_tools_20120724.zip
A. Rename PG88IMG_hboot_7.0.zip to PG88IMG.zip
B. Put it in your sd card root.
C. Reboot to bootloader from device, or use adb command ( adb reboot bootloader). Once you in bootloader, make sure it's not on fastboot, get back to bootloader, and it will detects the PG88IMG by itself, and confirmation for update will be shown, just press the vol up button to flash it.
D. It will reboot somehow. Delete the PG88IMG in your sd card root.
E. continue on step 1
1. Rename PG88IMG_SAGA_ICS_35_S_HTCCN_CHS_3.07.1400.2_Radio_20.72.30.0833U_3831.17.00.310_release_266765_signed.zip to PG88IMG.zip
2. Put it in your sd card root.
3. Reboot to bootloader from device, or use adb command ( adb reboot bootloader). Once you in bootloader, make sure it's not on fastboot, get back to bootloader, and it will detects the PG88IMG by itself, and confirmation for update will be shown, just press the vol up button to flash it. It's easy, but this PG88IMG is big, so it will take like 5 minutes to load.
4. Reboot.
5. wait untill it finish starting up, you may skip the first time setup or complete it.
6. Delete PG88IMG from your sd card.
6. Now it is time to flash recovery image as you dont have recovery yet.
7. reboot device into fastboot usb
8. in the folder adb, there's flash_recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.0-saga.bat , run it as it will flash cmw recovery image in your DS.
- if you have error such as multiple device detected or what so ever, open up adb shell and run adb kill-server .
9. Reboot into recovery, full wipe
10. And flash miuiandroid_saga-2.8.3

Optional
flash from recovery

ClockWork Mod wont install in Recovery

I've got a Sensation (I think its a Phillipenes issue) which was upgraded to ICS 4.0.3.
Basically I've managed to complete HTC Dev Unlock, then a few days later I lost Wi-Fi connection, so have been trying to continue with installing a Custom (or even the original) ROM in an attempt to fix it.
I've now done Junoptobear to get true S-OFF
Got root access
But cant get Clockwork Mod to install in Recovery...
I've installed ROMmanager Premium and used it to install the latest Clockwork Mod - it states its downloaded and completed but when I go to the bootloader and select Recovery it flashes the white HTC screen for a brief second then back to the bootloader.
I've tried to manually download the Clockwork Mod file and install to Recovery but I get the same issue.
Does anyone have any ideas?? Many thanks!
Hi there you can install 4ext recovery you can get the file here in xda or even from the play store. Many of us use 4ext because it has many options and is very easy to use.personally I prefer 4ext. All I did was download from the play store and opened the app follow directions choose version of recovery and it will flash from the application. I was already rooted and soff when I did it but it's very easy to do. I really think you will like 4 ext recovery. You already have s OFF and root so it should not be a problem. Best of luck to you. I hope this helps! As I mentioned most of us use 4 ext recovery and I doubt you will be disappointed. Good luck.

[Q] Reboot loop after JmzM4 custom kernel

Hello,
I recently unlocked my bootloader and installed the CWM recovery to install custom kernels for overclocking (my htc one mini is not rooted). So I went for the JmzM4_Kernel-09-4-13. And since I installed it I am in a F$%&/&%$ reboot loop. I already wiped the cache and dalvik cache twice but it doesn't help. I searched already for answers on google but I didn't find what needed, so I landed here.
Hope somebody can help me to get out of this reboot loop and get a normal smartphone again
Thank you for your attention
Here are the bootloader specs:

Did you flash the boot.img using flashboot from the kernel zip? also are you using jelly bean 4.2.2? because that's what it was built for.
Also there are no options to over clock using this kernel...

Yes I did flash the boot.img with flashboot, but I have android 4.3 and sense 5.5 on it. Is that maybe the problem?
A friend of me said that if I flash an incompatible kernel on my device, it would be dead. Is that true? I don't think so because I still have acess to the bootloader and CWM recovery .
shouldn't brick your phone, but your gonna need to flash a kernel compatible with 4.3. There isn't one in this forum, but if you ask one of the rom devs on here really nicely they may provide a compatible kernel from one of their rom releases. Else your gonna have to re flash your rom..

there are NO 4.3 kernels as of yet. I'm saying you need ask a dev to make you one,but I doubt they'll do it unless you ask really really nicely. Your most likely going to have to flash a whole rom..
AND NO HTC ONE AND HTC ONE MINI A VERY DIFFERENT. DO NOT USE ANY KERNEL UNLESS IT'S MADE FOR THE ONE MINI. OR YOU MAY BRICK YOUR PHONE.

So here my question: What kind of rom do I have to flash, to come out of the bootloop?

Personally I would only recommend the one I am currently using, as I haven't tried any others except WWE Stock 4.2.2 by trigger, which is the base of what I'm using, which is Magio R3 with the JMZ Kernel. I used the guide below which worked without problems. BUT BEFORE YOU DO MAYBE MAKE A POST ABOUT CHANGING FROM 4.3 TO 4.2.2 JUST BECAUSE I AM NO EXPERT, AND I'M UNSURE IF THERE COULD BE ISSUES WITH THIS? THOUGH I THINK IT SHOULD BE FINE.
Else stick with the 4.3 Stock ROM by Trigger though this is untested by me. Also skip the kernel installation if using the 4.3 ROM.
THE GUIDE:
Ecstacy42 said:
Don't do it if you don't feel comfortable.
1. Unlock your bootloader here. Select "All Other Supported Models" and follow the instructions.
2. Download the Rom, Kernel, and a recovery, verify the MD5 checksums, and then copy the rom and kernel zips to your internal SD card. I'd recommend one of the WWE versions as they don't have a lot of the AT&T bloat.
3. Boot into the bootloader (it says how in the guide showing you how to unlock your bootloader)
4. Select fastboot, plug your phone into your computer.
5. Type "fastboot devices" to make sure it's connected, then type "fastboot flash recovery whateverrecoveryyouused.img".
6. Boot into recovery. Make a backup. Then wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik cache.
7. Reboot into fastboot, then type "fastboot flash boot boot.img" using the boot.img from the Rom you downloaded.
8. Reboot into recovery and install the rom zip using TWRP/ClockworkMod.
9. Reboot into fastboot and type "fastboot flash boot boot.img" using the boot.img from the kernel.
10. Reboot into recovery and flash the kernal zip.
11. Start up your phone, if you flashed a DeOdexed Rom it'll take a little while to boot up.
I'm not sure if you have to flash the boot.img from the rom, then flash it, then flash the boot.img from the kernel and then flash it, but it's best to follow the directions and avoid potentially causing problems.

ok thank you,
but when I have the rom for my htc one mini, how do I place it in the main storage ( as a zip ). It can boot properly and reboots before my computer can detect it.
And is this Magio r3 rom compatible with the htc on mini? On the website it is shown that it is for htc one XL. And it also says that the recovery has to be the TWRP recovery and I have the CWM recovery.
Thank you for your answer. :good:

ok thank you,
but when I have the rom for my htc one mini, how do I place it in the main storage ( as a zip ). It can boot properly and reboots before my computer can detect it.

Everything you need is here on the XDA, "HTC One mini" section. ONLY USE ROMS WHICH ARE SPECIFICALLY FOR THE "ONE MINI". NO OTHER. EVER.
Just use this one it's 4.3 stock. You flash it as a ZIP from either CWM or TWRP.

And read the OP!
Also once this is working. DON'T FLASH YOUR PHONE EVER AGAIN. YOU CLEARLY HAVEN'T READ UP ENOUGH AND DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR PHONE. No offense but do you really want a $500 paper weight?

But how do I flash the odex rom?
I already tried to flash the whole zip file with fastboot, but the file is too big. the cmd says Failed(remote:data lenght is too large).
So how do I bring this rom to recovery from my computer?
Thank you for your answer.

But How do I flash my rom.zip? I cannot flash it from fastboot because it shows an error message in the cmd : Failed(remote: data length is too high). How do I get this $%&%&## file on my recovery or how do I flash it directly from my computer. I already searched the web on how do I do this. But no detailed or specific answer to my problem.
Please explain it to me step by step again :good:

You need to "push" the zip to your internal memory. Put your zip in your ADB fastboot folder on your computer. Then use command "adb push romname.zip /mnt/sdcard/". Then install the zip from cwm or twrp recovery. And flash the boot.img from zip with ADB fastboot...

I tried adb push but the cmd didn't reconize it. It says (from german, I try to translate it) : the order adb push is either wrong writen or it couldn't be found. So how do I use or reactivate adb push ? or maybe there is another way to push the file in the htc ( for example with a program ).
Thanks in advance

Question about Cyanogenmod 11

Hello guys,
I've been looking around for CM11 for my HTC One X+.
Now I've found the original CM11 on their website for HOX+, but there is one little question I got about this.
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=enrc2b
That's the link where I've found it by the way.
There is no boot.img download, how safe is it to just install the ROM? In my opinion it isn't.
So let me know what you guys think.

Its on the official website, and It should work. Make a backup though.
The boot.img download isn't there because the boot.img is probably inside the .zip.
So open the zip and you'll have your boot.img.

Yeah, already found it.
Thanks though.
One small question, if I'm going to put the .zip file on my SD card I can just leave the boot.img in the .zip right?

Oh okay, you will need to flash the boot.img alone then as flashing the ROM zip won't just work. So boot into bootloader, and flash the new boot.img you had extracted from the .zip
Once yo uhave flashed the .img boot into recovery mode and perform a gull wipe, including cache. Once done simply flash the zip and reboot.
First reboot takes a bit so be patient. I also recommend you getting a band backup in case.

If you're coming from a Sense ROM you can't just flash the zip without flashing the boot.img. It wouldn't even boot. And sometimes it boots but without mobile signal or WiFi signal.
So just place the zip on your sdcard, take the boot.img out of the zip on your computer.. Then boot into bootloader and connect it to the computer using USB then type
"fastboot flash boot boot.img"
Then "fastboot erase cache"
(you must have fastboot installed and configured on your computer)
Then boot into recovery and flash the zip file and gapps. Oh don't forget a wipe is mandatory if you're coming from sense ROM. But if you're coming from an AOSP ROM it's recommended but you can go without wiping. I flashed cyanogen over paranoid android without wiping data and had no issues at all. But I wiped the system partition.
And you cannot S-OFF an HTC One X+.. If it's S-ON then it stays that way. Only a few amount of people have S-OFF on their HOX+.
Oh and I don't think TWRP recovery is compatible with CM11 on HOX+.. So I recommend you flash philz recovery. Flash it by using the fastboot command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
(recovery.img should be replaced with the name of the recovery you downloaded)
It doesn't take a lot of time. I change ROMs almost every week.
Please press the thanks button if I helped!
