[Q] Return to Stock without USB Cable - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

How can I return phone to stock without USB working on phone. PC says not recognized. It is rooted and running Jelly Bean 4.1.2 with CWM installed. Galaxy Skyrocket S2. My S3 has no problem connecting with same USB cable so must be something with S2 phone. Thanks,

[Q] I keep trying the *2767*3855# and nothing...Ideas?

While it will say I'm a noob because this is my first post I am not really a noob, I just haven't had a reason to post until now
I flashed a 4.2 ROM and lost all connectivity to the network. Odin'd back to stock and here I sit, with that triangle saying I am roaming still. I have read every forum about this, tried the *2767*3855# a billion times and am getting nothing.
I need ideas! Please help!
Thanks
Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3
EDIT* *2767*3855# doesn't activate anything in the dialer. It is just acting as if I want to make a phone call.

Been through that 1.5 billion times already :crying::crying::crying:
You are on a TW ICS rom I am assuming? That dialer code should work automatically on a TW ICS rom. Maybe try a different ICS build like this one: http://goo.im/devs/invisiblek/i535/stock.vzw_root66.tar or these from droidstyle's guide: http://goo.im/devs/invisiblek/i535/...535VZWALG1_743127_REV09_user_low_ship.tar.zip or http://hotfile.com/dl/182822657/9f6...WBLK3_381038_REV09_user_low_ship.tar.md5.html.

You need to get back to a TW ICS based rom 4.0.4. Use one of those links I gave above.

I will certainly try it. After I flash in Odin is there any special details after I should try?
Flash the root66 from odin, factory reset, and then use the dialer code. This should work. From there install recovery and proceed as normal.
Important: This will completely wipe the internal storage. Backup first!

I couldn't get a .tar file for root66, it just came as a zip, otherwise I was about to try that option as well.

There are two ways. The easy way or the hard way or another easy way. You could put the stock firmware on your sdcard. You can also flash it in fast boot or flash it with twrp.

First of all, when you download the firmware from asus, you have to extract the file named: US_epad-user-10.6.1.15.3.zip. place the extracted zip file on your 'SDCARD'. your tablet will find it and notify you. if it doesnt, restart the tablet.
Forgot to extract the zip first before putting it on thanks

[Q] Downgrade from 4.2.2

If got the update and 4.2.2 is terrible. So I would like to know how to downgrade back to 4.1.1. There probably is a way to do it through Odin (which would be preferred) and if there is, can you give me the links to the downloads.

Did you try a wipe data/cache in recovery mode? This should help a lot, after I did the new 4.2.2 is not so bad, is at least "good" ad the 4.1.2.
Samsung firmware

No root before flashing. But if you flash the stock rom via Odin, you will need to root it again.
If you can find a flashable zip, then yes, you can use a recovery.
But OP simply wants to return to stock 4.1.1. You can get back to complete stock setup with the Odin process.
Search online for exact procedures.

Deleted....sorry I was on another thread and thinking confused. If you want to flash back to stock factory file give me a second see if I can find the tar file for you.
buhohitr said:
This is the original firmware and you must flash it using ODIN. This include rom/bootloader/modem/kernel (everything), it will also wipe your twrp recovery also. After flashed this it will bring your phone back to factory stock. If you're thinking something else don't flash it and just post what you want and people here can help.

If you already have strong signal and no issue with data drop, then you don't need to upgrade, otherwise yes you could upgrade and possible it may cure your poor signal...hopefully. In my case, this new radio did nothing to my phone signal.

Need help going back to stock

I have a 7" Galaxy Tab 2 (P-3100 I think) and I am planning on finally getting rid of it. I am on Lineage 13 right now and I want to return to stock. I would use Odin but the problem is my USB cable is dead.
What should I do? Does anyone happen to have a TWRP backup of clean stock or something? Or is there a .zip version of stock lying around somewhere that can be flashed through TWRP?

That looks great. By stock rom do you mean it can flash .tar.md5 files just like Odin?

Yes. Just place it in internal storage or in sd and install.
