the firs matter would be a suggestion:
isn't it better that you guys start a new thread with new FAQ and TIPS and DOWNLOAD and UPDATE and THEME pages for V2 ? the main thread has already over 150 pages! and people may get confused going back and fro in the thread.
Does this new version support Arabic (and Persian) completely (without separated letters)?
Can anyone create a THEME based on GO LAUNCHER or 3D LAUNCHER?

Will you please DO NOT make the notification drawer transparent, it gets really confusing
Where is the rc2?!!! Is it final or not? Should we setup it or not? Should we wait for manual? Should we use ota updater? There are several post saying it is ready and then denying it.

You shouldn´t post this kind of things in the Developers Section. This is a place for developers to post their work.
There´s a General Section to post this kind of threads. Also, before posting, search within the thread, because usually someone asked the same you are looking for, as in this case.

Honestly, as this is such an old device and therefore in the Legacy forums, I doubt you'll ever see anything close to 4.4.2. Even newer devices than this have a very slim chance of that happening.
Also, please remember not to ask questions in the development section in future. That section is only for development to be posted, NOT questions.

starting fresh, and coming from nook tablet. can some1 walk methrough and link me to the proper thread when upgrading from stock 4.0.1 w/e to current cm 11 or other plz. vry new to this phone and its capabilities. any help is much appreciated.

It up to you to decide if kit Kat roms are for you. Read the kit Kat rom threads in the development sections and you'll read about bugs or issues they may have. Everything we do here is flash at your own risk , so it's our decision to flash or not. Read the threads and especially the opening posts and decide if you want to flash it.
Any questions going forward can be asked in the rom threads if rom related, or the Q&A section otherwise.

As a reference here is a thread that had an older version with transparent widget but for months now my widget has shown 'There is a new version available' on my home screen instead of news headlines and when I try to update it says my SGS4 on stock ROM isn't compatible for the new update. It's frustrating. I've found what I think is the standard APK for the newest version but the background will be solid black as it's the stock version and I need the transparent widget. Does anyone have a link for me as I've searched and can't seem to come up with any solutions.
If I can get extra picky and it's not difficult can I request the newest Google News & Weather app with transparent widget & the sense weather icons like this version had and it's not difficult? Can someone point me in the right direction or know of anyone who can make such requests?
