i use jb flinny's cm10.1 b17 works like a charm. no issues
Some stable roms
ICS:
ViperSaga
ICE DS
Fallout Evolution
JB:
Andromadus AOSP
Andromadus CM10
AOKP
I recommend PACman 4.2.2 - is a super-hybrid of CM AOKP and Parandroid. Working really sacred. :good:

I think the best ics rom with good camera is ICE DS v6.0 (but it's with Sense).
From JB I tested only PACman.

Well, AOKP gave me many issues, expecially random FC of random app. Don't know why, but it forced me to restore Desire XS backup.
Yeah I should actually not have included that - I'm seeing alot of users reporting GPS and wifi connection problems. Actually meant to link to the AOKP builds thread not bnd's port

I would like to know if the other ROM the REMICS Beta1 is better so as to move there.
Any news on Custom ROM of the Jelly Beam 4.1 ?
Remics 1.4 it's but using the cyanogen mod cm9 with alfrix kernel, while the remics beta1 made by kkrrazzyy is aokp builds.
haven't still tried out the beta1. RemICS 1.3 was very good at performance along with quote a good experience for daily usage, while 1.4 had quite a number of problems, fc.
As kkrrazzyy, is a recognized developer for our community, I'm sure it would be mostly stable. And would get better along. Give it a try.

Im a fan of cyanogen but i cant decide between cm9 and cm10. Im on cm9 atm. Can some help me with this?
Cm10 is the latest and greatest. Its a lot faster then cm9, and has google now and such. I would take cm10 over cm9
Sent from my SGH-I997 using xda app-developers app
You can flash cm10 over cm9. Update gapps and clear caches.
CM10 runs really smooth. You will loose tablet mode on a lot of apps.
Check the screenshot thread in general if you want to see.
CM9 is based by Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) 4.0.X
CM10 is based by Jelly Bean (JB) 4.1.X
CM10 much faster
As stated above , much faster and has google now. There are still a few glitches with CM10, but worth upgrading just for the speed alone.

That can be a recipe for a non-booting device...
Of course cm10 works good in our tabs as omap architecture the processor is open source so developers can work well to port cm10 to our devices
I'm in cm10 now in my tab and in cm 9 in my phone (s2) as cm10 is buggy in my phone as some hardware elements are closed source so developers can not work freely in the device but this problem not found in my tab (open source hardware so cm10 work sooo good)

Yeah but Indroid has beats audio and audio FX which is really awesome:laugh:. I didn't find any improvement on music in CM9.. and I didn't find CM9 laggy either..! CM9 occupies lesser space than InDroid, as InDroid has a lot of apps.. some are unnecessary. .like s2 settings. .so I opened the InDroid.zip file on 7zip and deleted the apps i don't want and flashed it again. . luckily it worked
cm9 is the best for me daily usage.

Cm7, cm9 or Ics are unofficial beta roms so they are buggy. Those who said they are the best are good liers.
Fanciful roms which imitate iPhone or ICS have overheads. soon, you will find it to become slower and slower.
Value or cut down versions have compromises but they are fast.
It is a question of performance vs features. I will go for speed so 6 is my choice. Battery life and stability are also my prime concerns.

i think dhiru's cm9 is faster than others ....
Each custom Roms have their own limitations and bugs, especially ICS Roms.
I suggest u weigh each rom on ur own and install the one that is best suited to ur daily usage requirement.
in my personal view, CM9a11 is good as well as RemICS.
Although RemICS will have battery drain problem, use vurrut kernal on RemICS (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1653795) and u will have a good battery.
Rem-JB v2 isn't bad either, been using it as everyday rom. Suprisingly smooth considering it is still alpha 1JB by Dhiru. Found litle bug here n there but nothing annoying.

basically, the differences between CM9 (ICS) and CM10 (JB) is this:
CM9 has an official kernel whereas CM10 has a hacked-in version. it works, but if we could ever get an official JB kernel, we would have CM10.1
CM10 added the JB goodies that CM9 lacked with ICS, such as Google Now, multi-users (for tablets), expanded notifications, android beam, etc etc.
back in the day (before the Blaze got ICS official), we were dead in the water for ROMs. thomas.raines, dr4stic and erikmm were pretty much the only active devs that were making an attempt once k0nane and shabby were chased out. once it dropped, erikmm was incorporating the official kernel into his CM9 unofficial and dr4stic was hacking the ICS kernel to fit his CM10 unofficial. it was a race to see who would get official first and for a few days, it got REALLY exciting but with CyanogenMod, once a device is ready for CM10, they drop support for CM9, so erikmm's just kinda fizzled off the radar after a couple months. not to take away from erikmm's skillz, he's a helluva dev and I love everything he's ever done with the blaze
Here is a list of each Jellybean based ROM for the Blaze, that i have uploaded via torrents. They each include the Gapps and if the files necessary to flash and use the ROM.
Please let me know in the comments below if i am missing anything with a link to the thread and will try to upload as soon as i can.

well, the benefits are if people seed, downloads will be uber fast. but you would have to have at least 10 seeders constantly up and running for it to be faster than the existing mirrors. For devices like the SGS2, SGS3, N4/N7/N10, etc, that wouldn't be an issue, but the blaze community is a relatively small one by comparison.
Still, its improvement to say the least I'll be seeding shortly.
