i have a custom rom on my sensation , it's stil s-on
but it seems i cannot find the right RUU for my sensation. so i can get it back to stock
at the bootloader it's saying this

i was following this guide from the unlocker.
but @ The RUU it stops gives me error 155..
and it does not mather how i do it. when Phone is on.. or in fastboot usb mode it just wont install.
i think i realy need a good ruu.. so if anybody can give me one i would appreciate it i have One Week left to fix my Phone before i can send it back otherwise it will not be on warranty to fix my screen

Yay ! They fixed my Phone . new screen ! yiihaa!! XD im so happy everything worked out just fine now back to unlocking bootloader and put my custom rom back ! :d

hi frndz i am stuck in wierd problem...
here is what i did
1. i was having s-off and working sensation.
2. since i was having prob with batt life and fonce for smtime i planned to redo s-off from start.
3. i flashed official ruu as expected all went fine and fone booted.
4. still i was having s-off , so i did supercid and as told got back s-on by "writesecureflag 3"
5. iwas s-on back but ever since tried to get cid back to official htc_038.
6. everytime it said write failed.
7. now revolutionary s-off fails also during last fastboot reboot saying connection was interuptted. tried on 2 pc same result.
8. Now when flashing ruu again it fails sayin incorrect bootloader.
What to do???????

hahaha a bit of a problem there, i dont have wifi in my office (yes im working ) and my google email is restricted to not allow gtalk...im goin out for a smoke now tho, so i can use it on my fone

i have two revolutionary pre7 and pre3 ..... pre3 accepts the code and fails at last step...and pre7 rejects the key

i don't think you can backup it...but you can flash an older ruu to turn back to original
why did you send it without turn back to s-on??? you always have to turn it s-on when you have to send it to HTC!

You can't really back it up. Just download an older firmware found on the forums!
What he means is When you give it to HTC, They will check whether the phone is S-Off or S-On. They only accept S-ON Phones i think.

if you are s-on and unrooted htc can't know if you have flashed roms...but if you are s-off and rooted it is obvious that you have flashed
i rooted my device not too long ago with revolutionary.. Everything was successful..
When i got the phone i had the hboot 1.1800
well i went to try a rom.. ICS..
Told me i had to get the latest firmware, well i places the file on my sd card and went into hboot..
it was doing the update but said incorrect CID and now when i reboot, i get the boot loop on the htc screen..
i have a sd card reader, so i can put it in my computer.. so i tried to put back the original img.zip back because i did the win recovery..
so when my device reads that, it says incorrect model..
Help please!
oh my hboot says 1.27 now... how do i get back to my original 1.18?? i have to unroot it now but dunno how

Perform superCID.
Reflash firmware, should be good to go with ics.

Ha ha, you don't download superCID. it's a fastboot command! The thread has a guide, its a simple operation.

Take your time man, this will take longer than 15 minutes. You always have to read the information more than once so that you don't mess up your phone like you did.

ok im doing what it says.. but when i type adb devices.. it doesnt give me my phone s/n
Easier way - download the firmware that has your CID, kohr-ah has a thread covering all of them I believe

my dumbass used the wrong firmware file... wow.. i used htc instead of tmobile.. up and running!

its my birthday today and i just got my tmobile htc sensation i tryed to install a new rom so i did the revolutionary successfully and now i have the bootloader Hboot 1.27.1100 and i believe i never got my CID number before i decided to try to flash the HD 5.2 rom so when i tryed it didnt work so now i dont know how to get my CID number because i can get to my original rom and even tho i backed up my rom it still wont let me is there anyone who can help me i also have the 4ext recovery and ive been trying different roms all day but they all do the same thing which takes me through a bootloop and its getting sicking can someone please help me i got a date 2day for my bday dont wanna be without my gift

I wanted to ask about my Sensation 4g because I am having some problems with it since I make a flash with a PG58IMG.zip my phone a lot of times Turn's OFF after finishing a call or by itself on the pocket...as well battery some times after powering on goes crazy don't really measure the %...

Assuming you have the TMOUS 4G phone the stock ROM is the 1.50 RUU with TMOUS in the name

but wanted to ask before I procced is any problem that my HTC Sensation 4G T-Mobile is Unlocked and I am using it in Europe (Albania) should I use a different RUU or the original one will be Fine...last question
If you're returning it to STOCK then you use the one it came with. However, if you're not sending it back to TMOUS (which I don't think you are) then you could just flash the EU 1.50.401.1 RUU

I re-installed the stock ROM RUU TMOUS las update...and after the first day start the problem again...the phone after making a call or recieving one powers off...I reinstall the android HD 6.5 with the android 4.0.3 everything from the beginig...the problem restarts coming up after using for the first time the mobile data network or the wifi...mean after recieving packets...and after re-powering on the battery is not the same different % of remaining...
any idea what will be the problem or what I have to do to resolve this one I have

Sounds like to me u need to send ur phone in cause u might have some serious problems. I mean if it's doing it on stock u got a bad phone

It starts doing it on stock after for the first time I put ICS after I put ICS starts all the problems for the first time was frozeen in boot-loop then I restored it and works fine I update the boot loader and radio and installed ICS then ICS starts great...after 2 day's start's powering-off and after that I put the android HD then Core Droid etc...because I tought that was a software problem and the problem still is happening maybe I did something wrong bhoo don't know...
I will make some other tests and then I will throw it (probably)

Hello,
I'm a complete noob.
My sensation 4G has decided to stop working. (HTC start up screen loops) I sent my phone to HTC but they want to take all my money. Phone repair guy says it just needs new software update, but wont do it for me. SO Ive tried flashing ROMs but it seems I dont have the correct ones. Some have CID error, some have MID error. Is this the right thing to do?
I really need to find a ROM that is compatible with my phone. I dont need anything fancy, just one that will let me text people and maybe even make a call. :crying:

Question...Can you enter in recovery...mean try to press the volume down and the power button at the same time (before remove the battery for 10 seconds) ...and check if you device is S-OFF and have any Recovery installed! If you have all of that then you can install a custom ROM with Micro-SSD card...

Yes I installed 4EXT recovery and can get into it. I have tried following some guides to get S-OFF but they always fail. Which S-OFF method should I use?

My HTC Sensation doesnt let me factory reset it, I know, weird right? sorry, I'm completely noob at this. When I go to settings > storage > factory rest on my ics HTC sensation, it shuts down to reveal the htc logo then after a few seconds it boots into the bootloader. PLEASE PLEASE someone help. I need to sell my sensation by next week.
p.s. i should add that i have been experiencing problems with the phone randomly shutting off at times

1. Turn off the device
2. Pull out the battery and place it back in
3. Press vol down + power to boot into the bootloader
4. Scroll down to the Factory Reset option
5. Select Factory Reset

nah that doesn't help neither, it just reboots the bootloader. as for the RUU, I've tried loads but i cant seem to find the right one please could you post the right one for me please, thanks in advance. All your help is much appreciated

If u want correct ruu then post where ur from and is ur phone branded r not. (o2, vodafone etc etc) also were u on gb or ICS before things went wrong and post ur bootloader details.

aaah balls, had to be vodafone, theres a guy the other day who was looking for vodafone ICS ruu and there is none, theres only voda gb ruu. And u cant downgrade unless ur phone is booted and rooted.
EDIT: i found vodafone ics ruu, up to u if u wana flash it, take a look. Also do a good google search first and try find it urself from a well known trusted site because i take no responsibility if it dont work or fails epicly. Also i couldnt find the uk voda ics ruu on the usuall sites like shipped roms etc etc, so be carefull
