Anyone else having issues with playback on Play Movies? I'm on Venom2.1 Android 4.1.1 and keep getting errors saying it wont play, touch to retry. It works perfectly on AOSP (4.2.2) though... I want to report this issue to the Play developers but don't know if it's just a problem on my end.
Anyone else have the same issues or know of a fix? Thanks.
I have the same issue on viper xl ver 3.2.6 on android 4.1.1. I receive an 31 error message. Is this the error you get?

Update to Viper 2.2.0 and you will end issues with playback. I have same problem when I updated over ota now dont have problems. :highfive:

I had the same problem for several months. One day I updated youtube (I had done a couple updates before, too) and it just started working again. Occasionally I still get the error but it's more like 1 in 10 videos now. Sometimes just retrying fixes it.
So update youtube if you haven't already. If not.... then I can't help you.
Well i can't update YouTube because i cant find it in the market on my phone, i just installed an apk on the web.

I'm finding that some flash videos don't play properly for me.
I'm on stock 2.3.3 with the latest version of Flash Player installed.
Most flash videos work fine but the main issue I'm finding is with http://www.footytube.com
I like to check my football highlights
When I click on a match it just shows a black box as if it's loading but no play button appears at the bottom as it should, the black box just remains.
I had no problem playing this on my Motorola Atrix so I know the videos are supported.
Any insight or suggestions would be appreciated!

I don't know what's up with this then, I'm still just getting a black box and nothing will play. Occasionally the adverts pop up but still no actual content plays.
Anyone using different settings or a different browser to get this to work? I just updated to flash 10.3 and all.
Hulu Plus is having issues on my P5113 device running custom ROMs, however, the issue is not present when running ICS or jellybean stock roms.
What's happening is that the video will basically shrink down to a half inch bar as is visible in the attached photo. The issue will persist until Hulu is either minimized or it switches to commercials, after which point the video playback will appear normal for a few moments and then the issue will return.
Ive tried all sorts of different ROMs: CM, PA, AOKP, but the issue occurs on all of them. I have also tried tinkering with some of the developer options like forcing GPU playback and disabling HW overlays, but nothing has worked. I am currently running the latest version of hulu available from the Play store, but i have also tried older versions. BTW, there are no sound issues and this issue does not occur in other video playback apps such as Netflix.
I tried searching for this problem, but did not come up with anything. Is anyone else out there having this same issue, or does anyone know what might solve the problem?

Having the same issue here, on my p3113 running cm 10.1. I installed the modded hulu from the posdt above, but the video quality in the app is terrible. Unless I'm doing something wrong? Any help would be awesome as I love this ROM, but really love hulu more haha.
Hi, I've found a bug on official 4.2.2 p3113 firmware, when I'm watching videos on fullscreen mode in youtube the navigation bar does not hide and I can't control the video at the bottom!
This problem does not occur in Netflix for example. Anyone can confirm the same? Is there a way to fix this without rooting or going back to CM?

Happens to me on 4.1.1 and 4.2.2 . Probably is a bug with the youtube app itself. We just have to wait till they release a fix.
I wrote a review on the play store about this bug, if they ever read reviews.

During songs playing there is a sort of buzz with any player and any ROM.
Is this related to Android 5.0? Or there is a fix about it?
I've tried stock google player, poweramp, Viper4android... anything.

Android L works flawless on my device. Try older version or wipe your device
I think this is a known issue with Android L. The weird thing is I still get this issue when flash back to 44S. As far as I know there is no fix for this and I hope this get resolved soon.

Same here. I have the static problem too. Also I am not able to transfer FLAC files to the phone.
It happens for me with whatever kernel on 5.0. And it also happens on KitKat when I'm on AK 77.

How are you listening (direct headphone / bluetooth)? I am using Euphoria ROM with bluetooth and it works well. There are some hiccups now and then, but it is fine most of the time. Also the EQ works with this ROM - while it did not on some of the others.
I have this issue with phone calls. When on Bluetooth or headphones, other person complain about the voice quality. Head phones are the worst. I don't know which headphones to use now. I have iPhone ones which works with all my Samsung/nexus phones but not this one. My Samsung earphones and Sony earphones also doesn't work with this phone. I am on euphoria ROM right now but had issues with every Lollipop ROM.

I'm also using this rom and I'm getting audio hiccups every now and then, which I had never experienced on this phone before. Really hoping it will disappear in an update soon.
