[Q] Nexus S Old American PUT number ???

My Nexus S (GT-I9023) went dead 3 months ago. It was not booting past the CM9 boot image.
And I was unable to write anything on the phone's memory. It wasn't even formatting.
I gave it to Samsung service and they said that motherboard needs to be replaced.
I then contacted a local technician for this and for the last 1 week that guy is working with my dead/locked Nexus S.
He is stuck at a point where my Nexus S is asking for some sort of code .. "Old American PUT number. I had GT-I9023".
Any idea what this is ? the Old American PUT number ??

Help! Sim card not detected

Hello,
I bought this samsung galaxy 2 p3100 model after beggin my father so much. But two day ago it suddenly stopped recognising my sim card. I didnt do any rooting or what so ever. But I installed an anti theft software. Im not sure whether this is the cause. I tried using different sims, but result is the same. (I did the factory restore as well)
If my father finds this out he is gonna kill me...:crying:
And the nearest repair center is 240 km away and it takes nearly 7 hours to get there.
IMEI number is displayed but MDN and ERI version numbers are not displayed on the tab. It says "UNKNOWN"...
Please help me.... :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
hi. does the SIM card work in another tablet or phone?
do you have warranty and invoice for the tablet?

[Q] Note 3 mt6589 sim card reader

Hello everyone, have a small problem,
I have broke the sim card reader in my phone due to sim adapter and i was wondering does anyone know if this part can be replaced??? and if it can where do i get the part from as i have looked and cant come up with anything.
any advice is always appreciated
cheers
see bro the best option is first you go to the samsung service center which I think is the best place to get Help.
if they cant then find a local mobile repair shop which usually take some charge and repair then either replace it.
Thankyou.

Send it to LG and pay for repair.
N5 imei repair is possible with Z3X LG_2-3G_Tool if you can find phone repair shop with such equipment ...

yeh i am definately thinking this will need to happen. Hopefully it doesnt cost too much.
quick update: LG want to replace the motherboard so essentially pay for the whole phone again. Spoke to a friend with a samsung who had the same issue and he got the imei re-written for $40 by the samsung service centre. Are there any similar possibilities for LG

Different company, will do things differently.
Are you sure you didn't take a TWRP backup? Sometimes you might get lucky.

Did you purchase the phone brand new or second hand? Is the imei there or just missing? If it's missing it doesn't matter if it's sim unlocked or not it won't work on any GSM carrier if your imei is missing or has been black listed (reported stolen or for none payment)
purchased brand new but subsidized through ATT Next
I have 3 months to get it back on
I screwed up but found another job so ill be back on track
But yeah I was thinking of doing the imei repair method
its a service where it spoofs your phone with another imei to unblacklist it

Before changing your imei which is illegal I would contact AT&T and see if there is an arrangement you guys can come to. I suggest exhausting all legitimate means before paying someone to change your imei
