[App][2.1+][TWRP][2013/10/16]Auto Flasher ROM flash util - 1-click, Cloud Sync! - Android Apps and Games

Hello!
Im a flash junkie and I was getting tired browsing trough differend folders in my recovery to flash ROM, kernel, themes, tweaks etc - every time i wanted to update my ROM.
Thats why i created this simple app to do the job for me.
Auto Flasher lets you create rules for flashing different types of zips on your SD-card, based on file name pattern.
The last modfied file matching one of your rules is then used in recovery, without you having to do anything.

Only works with TWRP for now. Will work on CWM compatibility later, but i need to find a way to ditermen which recovery is installed first :/

Hey, I really like the idea! First thing that confused me was that when adding a rule the folders are not sorted in any way. Small thing, but would help
Otherwise thanks, I´ll test and report back :good:

Ah. This would have been helpful on the app's play store page. Came here to seek clarification. Perhaps add this bit of information to OP and the Play Store?

CWM will never work with this because the recovery update system is encrypted to work only with ROM Manager. There is an API but that requires users to have ROM Manager premium.
I encourage all to install TWRP instead of CWM so you can use this app and a much better recovery (imo)

Indispensable app for a flashaholic! Great idea! Can you add an option to disable rules, for example, I usually switch between root box and Pac man ROM and I have rules set up for both. I'd like to disable Pac rule when I'm flashing root box. I guess you catch my drift now. What do you say?

Not a bad idea! What do you think of different "rule sets”? Different pages for your rules so you can sweep the start screen to easy change rules? Tell me what you think of that!

New version is uploaded and will be available in a few hours! This release features cloud sync!
Did not have time to implement different rule sets but you can use different user id's in the cloud sync panel to sync different rules sets
For example, I have a user id called "richardddd" with all my files and one called "richarddddk" with just franco kernel as rule Super easy to change between devices and rules now with cloudsync!!!

Whoooo very good soft my Bro it is work well

Good work, fma965, we've needed something like this for a while. Now maybe we'll have less of the "I've accidentally deleted ______.apk but I need it back!"

But can't we just use TB for something like that?? Plus with TB we can backed up individual app that we want to remove/un-install. Just in case we want it back we can just simply restore it back. So my Q is what's so special bout using this?? Its there something u didn't or forgot to mention?? Just curious, really.

i dunno, i guess so lol. i made this cause someone wanted a lightweight rom and i couldn't be bothered to make a lightweight rom so i made this script that removes the same stuff i remove but also gives you option to uncheck something you may want to keep.

Some people (noobs) get in trouble using TB, or would prefer a quicker way of doing it. Personal preference, I suppose. Besides, in the Android community, having more options is always better.

hey well what do you mean clean the phone? no wiping is needed
Just download the rom and then use the clockwork mod for locked bootloaders (sorry my bootloader is unlocked so i dunno)
I suggest true ancenstor instead of Gin2JB but it depends on what you want it for.
o and yeah you can go back to stock by either unrooting or by flashing the stock FTF file via flashtool

Re: [RECOVERY]D67MOD Recovery 03/01/2013
Nice bro. Will definitely flash this once I get back home. If it all works out I shall say this is the recommended recovery for my ROM.
On a side note, if it does work as it should, (not saying it won't considering the sources) would a minimalistic version... Sorta like an "unchained" edition be viable for users. My ROM is based on 3 key factors, speed, ease of use and appeal. A GB with Seeder (the first one released with it baked in for our device too), appeal of JB and the ease of CM.
So I would say remove options like the dev menu, advanced options, only have the main 4 wipe options. Ease of use. USB toggle, flash from zip, fix permissions, partition. Just what the average user would use on a everyday basis. Oh and the SD card erase removed lol. God knows I've hit that damn option without thinking twice by accident one too many times.

As far as changing options for you,let me see what i can do,i was able to decompile the recovery with dex's kitchen, but theres certain files that need a linux environment to decompile, which i dont have at the moment,i can however customize it for your rom as far as the UI goes,if your interested and that goes for members, devs and teams alike.

Yeah if you ever get around to a Linux environment and can figure out how to modify the scripts that would be great. If not no biggie. I would just rock whichever default ui you drop.

And what is the verdict on this ROM? Getting the itch to switch. I just heard of this ROM and wondering what someones thoughts were.

Feels like any other aosp ROM IMO. Try carbon rom that's what I've been using for months.

This ROM is now built using the latest linaro 4.7.4 toolchain and comes with my modified version of Bricked kernel (thanks showp1984) My kernel source can be found here.
The ROM is compatible with other aosp based kernels, but if they dont have mpdecision or thermald built in you should rename them by removing the -bck at the end of the file name. The 2 files are located in system/bin.
I have also added QuickBoot, this enables you to power the device on/off in 1-2 seconds and puts it into hibernation.
This can be disabled in developer settings.
The following are configurable in the init.d file 99kernel
DoubleTap2Wake
Sweepp2Wake
Sweep2Sleep
Magnetic on/off
Battery voltage mod
These are disabled by default. More options will be added soon.
To edit this file use any good root file explorer. It is system/etc/init.d/99kernel and is pretty self explanatory once you open it.
Make sure permissions are set to rwx r-x r-x after editing.

Use PA latest gapps (the full package) to get ART working.
Everything works as it should.
Changelog can be found Here
And recent changes I have made can be found here.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've made a few changes to the device trees and to allow them to build I have posted my source complete with a local manifest for thos who would like to build ROM for themselves.
You can view my work by clicking here.
If you would like to build this ROM just run the following comand to import my local manifest (after you have set up the build environment and performed a repo init ofcoarse).
You can fin a guide for your device Here
Code:
wget -O ~/android/system/.repo/local_manifests/bruce2728_manifest.xml https://raw.github.com/bruce2728/local_manifest/kitkat-mr0/bruce2728_manifest.xml
Once you have done that simply run a 'repo sync' to pull in my repos.
If you use any of this to make your own ROM please let me know and give me a mention in your thread.
Donations are always welcome but in no way required.
If you would like to donate please follow this link. Thank you.

Todays build is uploading.
Has AOSP kernel support not caf.
Thank you, I had to refrain myself from flashing yesterday's build for this
Has anyone tried using Slimport on this since it uses the AOSP kernel? Not sure if the kernel has anything to do with it, but I can't get it to work on the other CM 11 build that is out....I want to be on CM 11 but had to go back to AOSP because of the Slimport issues
Can anyone tell me how to flash these rom on nexus 4.....as it gives status 7 error amd says that its for flo device not mako

It defaults to Dalvik, so nothing should be broken unless you decide to play with ART.
The fact that this works with aosp kernels is great news, I! Gonna download this tomorrow, cheers bruce

This Rom is incredible. I use it on Flo & Mako, it is perfect, I use custom kernels (Bulletproof on FLo & Hell on Mako) and I have zero issues so far.
Initially I had gapps FC, its easy to fix, Go to settings-apps-all apps- click three dot menu - select "reset app preferences" - no more gapps fc after that
The rom is perfect, Cyanogenmod Goodness+ART+Custom Kernels, what else you want?
thanks for your rom.
Seems like there is an issue with bookmarks sync adapter, causing the gapps process to FC. This is related to ART on all CM11/AOSP roms i've tried so far.
I know that whatsapp was patched to work with ART, does titanium backup works?
Update: nevermind just read Bruce's post, looks like I can now try ART

Add How-To Set Up MyHub
I think something is wrong with the zip. Wont install. Failed.
Whats werird is when I try to transfer this rom zip from PC to my n7 I get The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected. message..... yet all other files transfer with zero issue. I think my nexus knows the file is corrupt.
I transferred via lan with es file explorer and that went well but the install failed.
Downloaded twice so I say its on your end.
EDIT: Downloaded with my n7 and install failed as well. That makes three Downloads and I never have much issues with bad downloads. Something definitely up on your end!!
Please confirm and I will give another try

Been running the ROM for the last day with heavy use. So far it has been completely stable and smooth. Looks like I might have found my replacement for CleanRom.
I also like the way Xposed is built in. I use GravityBox to tweak my UI so having access through system setting is a nice touch. I had never used Pie before but I think I am going to like it once I get use to it.
If you like having the flexibility to personalize your ROM but also want the stability of a ROM based on stock you should definitely give Nightmare a try.
