[Q] Downgrade EVO to 2.1

I have been using the official evo ota froyo for a few days and I have had bad battery life and the touch screen stopped working once. I also decided I wanted to root my phone to get wifi tethering so I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to downgrade back to 2.1 so I can use unrevoked to root my phone? Thanks in advanced!

Did you try this?-aww...it says I'm to new to par a link but try searching downgrade android2.2 and click the link dat says something like visit your local Sprint store to downgrade or something like that.-hope that helped.

[Q] RUU_Pyramid BM or TMOUS

i am new and i want to know so please no laugh
just got my sensation 4G and i wanted to install another stock rom
while looking on the forums i found a biiiiig list full of stock roms for Pyriamid (sensation) so
first whats RUU ??
second wuts the difference between BM, TMOUS & wwe bright US generic ?
also mine is 4G and the only one with LTE mentioend was ROGERS should i get this one ? or should i try the TMOUS or the others ?
its new for me and all am seeking is to learn ur help is much appreciated

They're different vendor builds, TMOUS = T-Mobile, BM = Bell Mobile, etc...they will have carrier-specific apps pre-installed on them
RUU = ROM Upgrade Utility
As you don't really know what you're doing Google it all and you'll get more information on what they are

Since i own the 4G the only applicable stock rom is the tmous my question is will it fully work on my 4G

Unable to use ruu

Hi guys i have a sensation XE that has been running ARHD for about three months. A couple of my apps wont download from the market as it says not compatible with our device however they worked before i rooted and changed roms.
Now the ICS official update has been released by HTC i was hoping to return to stock And carry out the official htc ics update to see if that solves the problem with the aps If any knows how i do this please get in touch? i know i need an ruu but cant find one that works.
Any help greatly appreciated.

What do you mean you can't find one? If you are supercid-ed then you can use any one of them.

i need an ruu that is for the xe but the only ones i can find are ics for normal sensation if anyone can link to a ruu for sensation xe that would be appreciated

Sorry to tell you this, but the problem you are having with your apps is because you are using ICS Android not because you are using a custom ROM. A lot of apps have not been updated to work with Android 4.0.3. I know this because I had to use my HD2 while I am waiting on my sensation to be repaired and I am using ICS on it. A couple of my regular apps would not work on my HD2 namely G+ go figure that one, you would think Google would have already updated it but it would not work on 4.0.4 but it will work on 4.0.3. Anyway I am pretty sure this is your problem.

to those who used this procedure to install ics on htc raider (bell/rogers in canada) from this forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1612685 , i was wondering if you guys can help me. i saw a couple of post from here that they were successful installing the ROM (i think one was from bell, and the other rogers); i do have to say this procedure works. i was able to install both said ruu's successfully, but with one slight problem - i cant browse the internet using my data for some reason, even if my mobile network says its ON
i could however receive incoming call or make outgoing call; but for some reason i cant use my data to browse the net ...
did anyone of u guys initially experience this? if so, can u guys help me what to do...

i believe its an official ics rom as both of them are at&t ruu files from the state...
after i installed it and when it rebooted, instead of showing rogers logo, it showed at&t.
all the apps are pretty much based on at&t and all my rogers app are gone... :/

Not trying to be a jerk here, but if you can't figure out how to find the aahk, you probably shouldn't be doing this anyways. There has been so many threads opened up about this since everything was pulled of xda. A little bit of searching the Inspire forums would have given you this answer.
