If you have time try new CyanogemMod 10 Release 209. {MIRO/TIPO/J}[DEVELOPMENT] - CM10 - FreeXperia Project
And custom kernel ... no one yet for JB but with CM10 and some tweaks , i take Lags to minimum.
Hope some dev will bless us with some good kernel with OC , UV and UFC. :fingers-crossed:

ok..
Can i use any custom rom like xperience or cyanogenmod with Vengeance kernel??

Vengeance kernel is for stock based roms so u can try it on experience rom but not on cm10

[Q] Xperia neo V kernel problem

Hi,
I am using FXP CM9 145 on my Xperia Neo V,Can I use other ROMS with the FXP kernel ?If not, what should I do to use other ROMS ? If I replace the FXP kernel with another kernel then the phone refuses to go into CWM recovery and process.google.com stops working
Thanks
FXP KERNEL should work with Cm based Roms
And for other Roms
There are already many kernels available in Dev forum of Neo V
Flash that
It has cwm inbuilt in them
And then flash any other Rom
Ps :Use stock Ics based kernel for stock Ics based Roms

There is no such kernel for neo or neo v
It's for Arc or Arc S only!
Try super stock kernel instead!

[Q] Kernel vengeance 1.40

I have an xperia tipo with bootloader unlocked and I'm actually using fxp210.
I want to change the kernel with the Vengeance 1.40.
1. I flash the kernel with flashtool
...then? what kind of rom I can install with this kernel? I'm so confused!
U cant usevthis kernel on cm 10
Only use it on stock rom and other roms based on it
Sent from my Xperia Tipo using xda app-developers app
Use gimlo 0.3
works great with that kernel
awesome speed
DONT use that Kernel on any JB based ROM (like cm10 etc). Your phone just wont start :crying: (like mine).
If you want to use that kernel use any ICS based ROM (like Gimlo or Stock)

[Q] what kernel can overlock miro?

what kernel should i use to raise the miro processor clock??
There's the only kernel named vengeance! U will find it in the original android section.
But the devs still working on it, and overclocking on Miro isn't stable yet.

thanks .... i'm gonna wait till Devs make a stable one

I want to flash a custom kernel but I'm not sure if it would work.
I am running CM10 on my Tipo
plz Suggest compatible kernels.

ONly compatible kernel for CM10 that i know is that from CM 10.... For ICS there is Venegance kernel....
I flashed vengence kernel on stock rom
I got frequent reboots
Did I flash it wrong or is it that unstable?

Which vengeance version did you flash?
Everything under 1.40 is not very stable because it still has overclocking features, which makes the phone reboot once a while, partly depending on the governor and scheduler.
The last version (1.46) should not reboot as far as I know.

I flashed 1.46
On first boot it took me to the app optimization screen then it switched off
Then I booted again, it took me upto the setup guide then it switched off again
Third time it took 2 mins before it switched off again!
Here's what I did-
I was on CM10
I flashed stock ftf
Then flashed kernel.elf
Then I rebooted
Did I miss something?
Do I need to flash those modules?
which one 3.0.8 or 3.4? Or both?
Now m back to CM, collecting info then I will flash again.
