Hi All,
I just want to show you a sneak peek of a new game I'm developing for Android,
called "Noogra Nuts".
It works well on both phones and tablets. Although the resolution is not optimized for tablets, it still looks good.

Looks good so far man. I would throw in some power-ups though. Maybe add some multipliers for the score.

Downloaded, installed and played for a little bit and wow!! very good!!! very clean and nice touch on that "quit" botton. Not many app have an "exit or quit" botton so it always stay in memory.

Just tested and, it's fun !

It looks like it will suck the life out of me for a while. Niiiice.

Man I wish I could draw like that Maybe you could add birds or objects flying overhead that you can hit with the nuts, and maybe give the nuts sideways trajectory when hitting them, so yo can steer the nuts to the birds.

Please let the app flip with the screen (just flip, not rotate). When I'm charging my TF, I hold it upside down so that the power cable isn't drilling a hole in my stomach.
Nice game and nice graphics. I'm not a fan of tilt-controls and a normal thumb control (or swiping) would be nice (you would probably have to have multiple high score lists).
A combo multiplier would indeed be nice and some power ups could add another dimension. Fe: add one that slows down time or decreases gravity. Or a clock that would give you 5 seconds extra time.

It was quite fun and difficult but after the level ended, my tablet froze and i had to restart it.

I did the programming, my younger brother is the artist
I didn't encounter any issues with my tablet, but if it freezes it might be a bug on the OS.
I'll see if I can support flipping, I hope it is not too complicated.

Same thing here. Had to hard reset. Fun game though

I'll give you a tip on how to achieve a high score:
For every 8 Nuts you eat, you receive a wave of nuts falling in a diagonal shape.
And every time the wave will be with a higher valued nut, in the following order:
Acorn, Walnut, Macadamia, and the Golden Nut.
The golden nut gives you 100 points every time you crack or eat it, so a wave of them will give you lots of points

Hi, I must say, amazing graphics - well done! And I did not thought I'd experience this, but this little game really made me jump a bit, when I first got bitten. After I got 1$ bill I was just leaving my hand open, nothing happened, so I thought what a silly snake and decided to go for more money... AAAAAAAHhhh. I've not played much of this kind of games, but this one is most fun and intense in a good way.
I'd love to see more different levels, with different dangers and hand movement variety.
After game loaded I was relieved that "OpenFeint" was a menu option and did not start loading, but then I opened the game... "NO, I DONT LIKE FUN". I guess it's a minor issue, but as a non "OpenFeint" user I hate then that happens.
Are you scaling sensitivity in a different screens? I'm testing on a Galaxy Tab 7, so my guess is that this game could be a little bit easier on a device with smaller screen.

This game is a lot of fun. I jump every time the snake bites me... lol. How about making the phone vibrate when it bites you? Bet that would make people jump even more.

Thanks for admitting the Black Mamba is the most dangerous snake in the world.
Get locked in a room with a King Cobra and you still have an edge on speed and can use that to kick/stun the snake on the head...so you can still survive.
Get locked in a [large] room with a Python/Boa Constrictor and you can easily out manouver the snake. You can get away even if you are bit since they are non-poisonous, just real scary...so you can still survive.
However if you get locked in a room with a Black Mamba, it will be quite vicious and much faster than you. You are most definitley going to get bit, and probably die in the next 3 hours.

Why did we use this ridiculous theme?
In original, we just want to make a cutting firewood game - in this game, you tap the screen to cut the firewood, some small animal will appear randomly, absolutely you can't
cut them. That is a simple game, and the theme has been used thousand times, so I wanna something more interesting or a bit ridiculous.Unfortunately, my boss make me unhappy
these days, I imaged he eat a lot of **** from me, lol! Yeah, I lied to him: "I had a good idea, we can make a game about to eat ****, I think no one used this!" "OK, I think
it's workable, just do it." Well, I am the winner.
How to play this game?
It's very simple, just tap the screen when you see a ****, and do not when you see a food. That's it.

I’m a one man team and I’ve created this game just as a part-time hobby. It should be fun for all ages as I tried to design it as a casual game with VERY simple gameplay and easy to figure out controls. The game is completely FREE with a few scattered ads… There are no in-app purchases or anything like that. No special permissions required.
I hope you all enjoy the game... it was a definitely a great learning experience for me. I truly enjoyed the process of creating this game and now I hope others can enjoy my labor of love. Yes, I've got to work on that grandma jump sound! That is actually a recording of my wife trying to sound like an old lady jumping. I guess it didn't come out quite as we planned! We'll try again on the next update and hopefully it will sound better!

Loool... I think she got the sound *almost* right.
Nice game, although I expected the grandma to be able to jump on the Zombies.
Can't she stomp on them or whack them with her walking stick?

Yes, the next version will have her actually using her cane stick to whack the zombies over the head. I haven't quite perfected that animation yet, so I decided to exclude it for the time being. I figured I'd keep it simple for the first version and just have her jump over them instead. But, yes, I can't wait to add the cane attack as I think that will add another level of wackiness to the game. Thanks again for your feedback!

Any thoughts on keeping the on-screen controls visible? I've heard from a few people that they think I should make the controls invisible.... I prefer the visible controls! But, I thought it would be worth mentioning and getting some public opinion. Thanks!

I would work some more time on the user interface. Information about the coins and stats should be divided from the game. The good example of this is Shovel Knight.

We've started our jurney with programming something aroung half a year from now. And we have to admit that it was very painful at the beginign . We knew nothing about programming and even so we decided to give it a shot. So if you are asking yourself if you would be able to create an android app please stop asking and start learning. We are curently writing our apps on Libgdx engine, but we might change it in the future. I really do hope that you guys will like our app. We know that it isn't perfect yet, but we are getting there with little steps. Feel free to tell us what you think about it
Also we encourage everyone to try our game out. Please write what do You think about it and what can we change to make this game better. We will listen to your opinions and will try to make this game as good as we can.​

So I've just downloaded this game and now I would like to give some hints to the developers. In my opinion this app is quite good. The gameplay looks easy, but it is not. It is really really hard. I'm not sure if even not too hard. I personaly like challanges, so I don't see a problem with a high level of dificulity, but other people may find it too hard to play. Also you should put more skins in shop screen. Right now you have like 12 different skins a player can buy, but I think you should create more. It doesn't take really long to buy them all. After all this app is a really nice for a first one. It is not perfect but it is definiately better than most of other's people first app.

Really nice game guys. Gameplay is really, really hard and challenging not gonna lie, my record is only 6 :/ . But the game concept is really good. I would say that it might be kinda similiar to Flappy Bird (you have to play it a lot to be good at it). Good luck and don't forget to create more apps ;D
