Noogra Nuts [Updated] - New Survival Mode!

Hi All,
I just want to show you a sneak peek of a new game I'm developing for Android,
called "Noogra Nuts".
It works well on both phones and tablets. Although the resolution is not optimized for tablets, it still looks good.

Looks good so far man. I would throw in some power-ups though. Maybe add some multipliers for the score.

Downloaded, installed and played for a little bit and wow!! very good!!! very clean and nice touch on that "quit" botton. Not many app have an "exit or quit" botton so it always stay in memory.

Just tested and, it's fun !

It looks like it will suck the life out of me for a while. Niiiice.

Man I wish I could draw like that Maybe you could add birds or objects flying overhead that you can hit with the nuts, and maybe give the nuts sideways trajectory when hitting them, so yo can steer the nuts to the birds.

Please let the app flip with the screen (just flip, not rotate). When I'm charging my TF, I hold it upside down so that the power cable isn't drilling a hole in my stomach.
Nice game and nice graphics. I'm not a fan of tilt-controls and a normal thumb control (or swiping) would be nice (you would probably have to have multiple high score lists).
A combo multiplier would indeed be nice and some power ups could add another dimension. Fe: add one that slows down time or decreases gravity. Or a clock that would give you 5 seconds extra time.

It was quite fun and difficult but after the level ended, my tablet froze and i had to restart it.

I did the programming, my younger brother is the artist
I didn't encounter any issues with my tablet, but if it freezes it might be a bug on the OS.
I'll see if I can support flipping, I hope it is not too complicated.

Same thing here. Had to hard reset. Fun game though

I'll give you a tip on how to achieve a high score:
For every 8 Nuts you eat, you receive a wave of nuts falling in a diagonal shape.
And every time the wave will be with a higher valued nut, in the following order:
Acorn, Walnut, Macadamia, and the Golden Nut.
The golden nut gives you 100 points every time you crack or eat it, so a wave of them will give you lots of points

Indeed, the game is very playable and the graphics looks just awesome, Your brother definitely have a talent May I ask what kind of software he used? It looks like a vector graphics so presumably Adobe Illustrator?

Do you have enough free space on your device?

Plays fine here, only 1 small problem for me, it doesn't quite fill my screen 320x240. Good game tho, my little boy will love it too........ if I let him have a go!

its not fullscreen in QHD....(htc sensation)
and i think the accelerometer settings are just a bit too sensitive..
but its a fun game

Not fullscreen on my optimus, accelerometer sensitivity is just right. Love the graphics.

Played a full game on my Transformer then right when the score showed up, everything froze. Nothing's responding from the game except the sound, and I couldn't click anything on the TF. (back, home, notifications) After a few minutes, it rebooted itself. About to test it again on TF and also on Nexus S.
Besides that, loved the sounds, animations, and graphics!
Edit: Just played a game on Nexus S, and worked perfectly, nothing like the above happened

Works like a charm on Darky Base JVR. Will try on ZTE Light aswell..

Really really awesome game. Like it very much.
Will like to suggest some new ideas for the game though.
- Achievement please! How many total nuts have been cracked, consecutive combo etc.
- Extended time mode. When we reach certain score, time will be extended. (similar to the fruit cutting game)
- Perhaps dropping bomb as well, of which we will have to avoid.
- Different characters with different hardness (crack nuts faster/slower), speed (moves faster/slower), jumping (jump higher/lower).

Welcome to the first session of Death Maze!
Players will experience simple yet addicting game play that everyone in the family will enjoy. I like this game, I really do. But i nearly took an instant **** when I died the first time. I was really REALLY scared to die again afterwards.
I think this game would benefit from some new artwork: nice drawings, better sound. Maybe you can find someone to contribute these assets...

Finally someone to tell me something I need to change. I wanted the death screen to scare you and make people angry to lose. So by having a stick figure and the funny music I thought it would help motivate players to not want to die again.
Yes more polish is to come! And more prizes to the fortunate few who make it to the end.

A classic game principle which makes a lot of fun for me everytime I have to wait for something (for example in the train).

Good idea to add those "helping hands". Both my son and I got stuck for a few seconds until the hand came up
It's a bit large though (filesize), for a small kids game. Not that my kid noticed, but it bothered me a bit
I don't know if there's anything that you can do about it? I'm not very familiar with the unity platform...
Anyway, good kids game! Hope you succeed

[GAME][4.0+] Touch the wood - endless game

This is my first game with Unity Engine.
The gameplay is very simple.
- The first shape appear which is the first one have to be cleared, touch the button has the same shape as it to clear it.
- If you let a wood shape out of your sight, you'll lose a life. You have 3 lives at the beginning. Losing it all means Game Over.
How far can you go? Try your best!

I liked it. I jsut can't download it right now because of the lack of space on my phone right now. Altough, I've seen other apps with the same mechanics with a lot more downloads. The difference? Graphics. Small games like this make graphics really important to attract people's eyes and to give them a satisfying view as they progress in your game. It transforms your normal game in to a super cool game with cute and catching graphics that many people like. So I'd recommend you another approach. I also liked the basic menu. It reminds me angry birds menu.

Your approach you recommended me, i think that was a very cool one. I'll try my best to apply it in my future games. But this game, i made the graphics by myself. So i guess it's not cool enough, lol. When i have enough budget, i'll hide an artist to do it for me. Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Good. But it could be better. Main gaming window(items are dropping) is too small. I have 4.5" screen, gaming space is just half of my screen. You can add level with separate dropping speed in each level.

I know that but i want all players have the same difficulty level. It's a matter of balance. Because of this, i made the width of main gaming window to fit with any screen size and then made the height base on the aspect ratio.
So, it's diffirent with 16:9 screen, 4:3 screen... but the difficulty is maintained.
About separating level, maybe i'll apply this for my future games. I designed this game with endless game style, so i decided to speed up difficulty level by increasing number of items, and it's speed for 4 minutes from the beginning.
Hope you understand what i mean. (because my English is not so good).
