I have tried clearing data and cache on both the play store and play services, and running fix permissions in 4ext with no success.

hmmm grab an apk from google i guess. it's not warez coz it's free
On my Sensation can't download neither... CM10.1 by albinoman, I'll change my build.prop to I9300 or something like that.

I download a version that i search from google because in google play i can't install it, so i leave all night downloading and im playing it right now...
ITS AMAZING! the graphics, the simulation, the phisics, everything its well made... my sensy at 1118Mhz can drive it well, even with 300Mhz 3D GPU and 200Mhz 2G GPU what keeps it really cold, the optimization is near to perfect, the cars look great, the traks even a high speeds you can damage your car and need to repair it, a totally better version than the RR2, also the traks are exactly the same as Gran Turismo 5 and the cars like the S13 runs exactly the same than GT5 so i know every track and know were to brake or accelerate wich makes me win races even against real life pilots...
the only problem is when you are in the staring grid the game just runs like 1-2Fps but is becase is loading all the cars and cometitors i think...

anybody............even downloading apk from playstore gives me force close and crashes all the time..........please someone help me......???/
When the game was released I quickly went on Google play store and searched for it but it didn't showed up. But I downloaded the apk file from the Internet, installed and started downloading and it downloaded the data and now I am able to play it. The first version was 1.0.56 which didn't appear on Google play store and now EA has updated the game to version 1.0.59 which appears on play store and can be downloaded without any problems. You can see the screenshots. Sorry I clicked the pic when the game was paused.

Try downloading apk + data from a random website or TPB. Then copy to your phone and install.

Has anyone else noticed how many more apps are NOT compatible for Sensation (also Evo 3D)?
So far the following very popular great apps have issues:

Any other noteworthy apps have problems? Most Developers are saying it is a phone issue and not their issue. Not sure thats true, but figured I'd put it out there since I haven't read anything about this.

Are there apps that are not supported because of a specific phone or are they OS based?
I know NHL Gamecentre had an app (friend on a Desire Z had it) but I couldn't find it at all in the market and I had to find an apk on the internet and it installed fine then.

okay but why isn't google home there in the market place. When I go through the market on my PC it tells me its not availble for my phone but thanks to d/l of the apk file I know it works for it.
I have samurai ii. It crashes a lot! The description says that the sensation and evo 3d isn't compatible and it isn't the game.
Battleheart and zombieville usa has these problems too.
I tried them but will eventually crash.

The confusing thing is that all the games that are compatible with the Adreno 205/200 should be compatible with the Adreno 220 because of the backwards capability it has. I wonder what's causing the issues.

No need to be a **** about it. There are most certainly other applications aside from just "games" that are not working for the phone. It was intended to insight an answer regarding specifics for Sensation issues like the known bluetooth problems with HTC.
I'd love to know how you are playing these games fine if both explicitly say they don't support the phone. It's one thing to flame a dumb question, it's entirely another just to post crap. Grow up.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I don't see any real reason why it would not be supported. The only thing I could think of was Sense 3.0.
The irony is that the LG G2x is supported, but the Sensation is not. Go figure.
These games don't work because they were made using the Unity engine, apparently support is coming soon.

ive thrown plenty of games at my sensation with no problems yet. Download spare parts and enable compatibility for old apps, works like a charm for me at least

Hey I can't run Asphalt 6 and Dungeon Defenders pls help
That's just kind of marketing problem, not Hardware problems.....
Like Tegra 2 games, you can find versions made not to check if it's tegra or not and working well on the Sensation (for ewample I have a 100% working Pinball HD For Tegra2)
And some games were written specifically for tegra (stupid!) and need some re-writting for Adreno now.
Also, the fact is that many warez won't work on the Sensation, more than on my previous device that's for sure.
Asphalt 6? Buy it on Gameloft wapstore directly, it works perfectly. Try warez: they'll mostly fail.
Finally, some games say they are not compatible just because with our qHD screen, touchscreen controlls will be messed up, like the version of Schrek Kart I had: working fluently, but you must press above the virtual buttons to get them working.
To finish: talking about apps not compatible:
if you try to install an app and it says "App NOT installed" and you can press "OK" and that's all.
=> Try installing this app via ADB ( adb install \name_of_your_app.apk ). Many will install this way and perfectly work!
That's what I did for many apps (Blackmarket alpha is one of them^^)

Hello,
I've installed GTA3 on my HTC Sensation.
Everything works fine, but I've seen on other phones that there are additional effects included (eg, effects of light on cars...).
I haven't these effects on the Sensation.
In the XPERIA PLAY forum there is a modified gta3.sit file, where the effects are added.
I've also tested this file. It works, but all the icons are very small and you can not press the icons.
Is there a solution for the sensation?
With effects and the correct size of the icons?

Hello guys
I just wanted to ask if anyone has tried to edit build.prop file and buy Grand Theft Auto: Vice City from Google Play. Probably some of you heard that phone freezes while entering to the vehicle or while driving, but by foot it's ok. It's interesting, cause this HTC was supported week ago, like it is on GTA III.

I've edited some lines the build.prop file and made HTC Sensation as HTC Rezound temporarily. After restarting the device, I bought and downloaded this game. First impression? It works, entering to the vehicle etc., so our HTC should be supported.

Well, tbh the game crashed twice while driving and it rly pissed me off, but later it was playable - especially on medium details and 60% of draw distance and 100% of screen resolution with enabled dynamic shadows and disabled frame limiter. Average FPS is 20.

Yeah, it's a bug with adreno 220.
Hi I want to edit the build.prop for my HTC Sensation XE. Is there any chance id end up in a bootloop? And do I have to use a ps3 controller when playing vice city or can I still use the onscreen buttons? Thanks.

I am running cm10 on my sensation, and my gta vice city keeps freezing as soon as i drive around for a bit

It's an issue on Rockstar's end, there is a ton of pretty ugly bugs with the Adreno 220, one being the entire phone freezing when entering a vehicle. Lots of draw issues too. Bad lag (I mean damn... The HD2 runs it just fine), Wait for an update from R*.

Oh ok thanks for that. I dont even know if its compatible with the sensation but it should do anyway. Hope they can fix these issues as on s3 the flawless play was amazing

Yes, i just checked and sensation is not listed under compatible models
But people are having this problem even on supposedly supported models, so rockstar need to fix these issues

The latest Plants vs Zombies craze. PvZ 2 has been released worldwide. But unfortunately it is not compatible with our Sensation, since it has less than 1GB of RAM.
Has anyone installed the apk on our phone?? Please let us know how it runs.
Also has anyone managed to install it directly from the play store (by editing build.prop or some such trickery), since it is not possible to download from Play Store on our Device..

my friend could download it on his Galaxy W, which has 512 MB RAM, so i guess RAM is not the issue.
but you can download it from other sources anyways, nothing to be concerned about.

if i play pv2 my sensation gets really hot and the battery drops from 100% to 85% in 8mins.is it normal or is my battery almost dead?
