Notification Popup Alert
This app displays incoming notifications as pop-ups. You will be able to see whats happening in your system, even if you are in a fullscreen app or game, without opening the notification tray.
Still in beta, so don't expect a perfect app.

Hi! Just installed it from Google Play on my rooted Nexus 4 (Android 4.2.2)
I have that issue, not sure if just on Nexus 4, or Jelly Bean, or what: when clicking to enable/disable service, app sends you to the Accessibility Settings page, but there's no "Notification Popup app" to enable. It's not on the list of choices.
So I can't auth the app to be one of my Accessibility Services
I've got the same problem. could you fix it please? thanks in advance

Try rebooting your phone. Had the same problem with DashClock's WhatsApp extension.
Rebooting my device did not help. Sill no settings there...
Can I Use it at sola stock rom?
that's pretty cool!
i guess its a 4.2.2 thing.. im on xenonHD 5.0 on my gnex and dont see it in my accessibility services list either
Same on my 4.2.2 cm10.1 sensation
I have the NotificationPopup option in my accessibility settings, but when I tap it to enable, it just opens another instance of the accessibility settings.
I have to go out of the app and into Settings -> Accessibility to turn it on.
However, the NotificationsPopup app still suggests that the service is not enabled.
Ehhhhh?
Note: My sig is old...I'm running 4.2.2 Xylon now with Harsh Kernel.
Same issue here with leaked 4.2.1 on GT-I9300

Same on several other such apps.
Examples: The floating music controller service.
Notification Browser app/widget.
etc.
On my Padfone 2 it worked right away on Android 4.1.2. Enable service and now wait for the first notification popup . I was waiting for an app like this long time. Thank you.
Edit: But I never eceive any notification. The service is enabled.

Use Pin Note to place customisable notifications in the notification area to be used as reminders, notes or application shortcuts. Pressing the notification will start a specified action, for example start your text messaging app, email app or dial a phone number directly. Obviously I will be adding further actions and functionality as time progresses. Any suggestions? Let me know.

Pin Note is currently in active development and is in the Play Store for public testing. There may be minor issues, but expect regular updates as functionality and design is updated and tweaked and of course any bugs fixed. Please feedback if you can, I would appreciate it greatly. I have tested on a LG Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy Nexus and in AVDs but it hasn't been extensively tested in real world usage.

I have just uploaded the latest APK to the Play Store just before writing the post, it'll take a little time to appear but it will be there.
I've just checked and the Play Store has just updated with latest description, screenshots and APK. Also if anyone wants to submit bugs if they use the app and find anything then either just reply or submit here: https://bitbucket.org/roryrjb/pinnote/issues.
Again sorry no actual link because I'm below 10 posts.
I've added a few more options:
- Persistent Notification (have to clear from app, won't swipe to clear)
- Timer Notification (will count for as long as notification is active, to see how long it has been there)
- LED Notification (if your device supports it, the LED will flash every 5 seconds for as long as the notification is active)
I've also tweaked the notification layout slightly and a ticker also appears as well.
Version update:
Version 0.3.1.1 (Alpha)
- Fixed Intents.
- Added Contacts Selector.
Please find new APK attached to the first post. Play Store updating as I type.
I downloaded the latest copy for testing >>> had a parsing error pop up when I went to install it.
is that just me or what? BTW this application looks promising. Has great potential and I want to help you out
I can create a new icon or re-design the one you currently have to make it more professional or I can do a new UI design for you? Just let me know I love helping others out!
I use Notif Pro but this looks interesting. Going to give this a shot.

It's been a little while but I have updated. Notifications can be customised and then set to appear at set times. The free version (a Pro version will come along eventually) is limited to 4 reminders at a time. Whilst I have now classed this as Beta there still may be issues or bugs. As always any bug reporting or feedback is welcome.

New screenshots will be attached to the OP shortly.
Update Attached
I realised in the last update I didn't add some resources for non-XHDPI devices, they have now been added in this latest update (v0.9.5.4).
Hello fellow XDA-Developers members!
Recently, I made a blog post(available at r3pwn.github.io) about Google's first-party apps' debugging settings. Afterwards, people asked me to make an automated app to Enable/Disable these settings menus at will.
Well, here you have it:
#DebugAllTheThings

For those on Android "L", follow this post to fix any issues.
Changelog and FAQ will be in the second post.
Changelog:
Current version:
1.2
- Bugs squashed
- On-the-fly changing (no reboot needed, except on android L)
- Adds a check for non-rooted users
- Reports there may be some compatibility issues on Android L
- Added Newsstand Debugging
- First build uploaded to the Play Store!
- Play Store will open in a new Activity, instead of in my app, so as to avoid any confusion
Older versions:
1.1
- Safer SQLite3 check.
1.0
- Not yet published to Play Store
- Google Play Store Debugging
- Google Hangouts Debugging
- Google Play Books Debugging
- Google Play Music Debugging
- Added SQLite3 binary check
FAQ:
It says I don't have SQLite3 installed. What do I do?
You should have them installed by default, but in case you don't, you can install them with an app (not made by me). Just search "SQLite Installer for Root" and download the first app listed.
So I did everything, enabled the settings, but where are they?
You can find them in the locations listed below after opening the corresponding app(s):
Google Play Store - Open the slide-out tab. It should be below the Feedback button. It's called "Debug Settings".
Hangouts - Either hit your menu button or tap the Three-dot menu button in the top-right corner. It should be at the bottom of that list. It's called "Debug".
Play Music - Open the standard Settings menu and it should be at the bottom (Just one option about logging, pretty boring).
Play Books - Tap the Three-dot menu button in the top-right corner. It should be at the bottom of that list. It's called "Testing".
Newsstand - Open the standard Settings menu and it should be at the bottom (just one option called "Designer Mode", pretty boring).
Updated to version 1.1 for safer SQLite3 checking.
Not seeing Hangouts debug menu after rebooting and enabling on L. Thoughts? This is Hangouts v2.1.311.
Thanks for this all, it's a useful utility. This could be a splash perhaps? Haha

Yep multiple reboots with a mixture of wiping cache and data just to check.
Just chiming in to echo what everyone is saying - this isn't working in L.
Works on my S5. Thanks!!
The Play Store debug settings are nice because you can use "Clear cache and quite" to force a refresh of app updates. I've been using it for a while and also included it in an Xposed module.
Google Calendar
Haven't had any luck getting help with this question, seems like this thread is the right place to ask again. Trying to modify the default appointment time in Calendar to 30 minutes from 60 so the app acts like the web version. Poked around the code and nothing jumped out at me. Any and all thoughts appreciated.
Also, if you have a Nexus 5, check out these color notifications I made. The Nexus colors are up to date, I'll update the Google colors over the holiday.
Out of curiosity, anyone know what the "Emulate Offers Device" option does in Play Books?
And nicely done, I've been wanting something to get at those hidden menus for a while.
Hey, sorry, my modem broke and I am using Library wifi to type this post.
To all with Android L issues, I noticed these after uploading the first build and losing my wifi. I added a check for this in the next update. To fix issues with "L" compatibility, follow this guide. It was designed for Nexus 5, but works on my Nexus 7, too. I have version 1.2 built and ready to go (fixes disabling Books Debug bug) and adds more options:
- Bugs squashed
- On-the-fly changing (no reboot needed, except on android L)
- Adds a check for non-rooted users
- Reports there may be some compatibility issues on Android L
- Added Newsstand Debugging
- Will be first build uploaded to the Play Store!
- Play Store will open in a new Activity, instead of in my app, so as to avoid any confusion
Now, you may be asking "Sweet! When can I get my hands on it?!".
As I stated before, I do not have wifi. The new modem is in the mail and should be here either today, tomorrow, or the day after.
I am also continually trying to find more debugging flags. So far, no luck. Some will require Xposed to enable, and I will have MrBIMC create me an Xposed module to manage this.
The second our new modem gets set up, I will be uploading the 1.2 apk and publishing it to Play Store. The reason I can't do it now is because I do all of my building/coding/testing on my Nexus 7, which I didn't bring with me today.
I hope this answers any and all questions.
Also, to those on L, once you activate the PIE-bypass, toggle each option a few times, then the value displayed will be correct.
I just uploaded to the Play Store. It will be listed as "#DebugAllTheThings for Root".
While the application is being processed, I went ahead and uploaded build 1.2. ?

Woo-hoo. Can't wait. I love your Apps ☺?
Wow! What a cool idea. Saves precious seconds when launching the camera. Working great on my Moto G.
Bug: When my phone is in vibrate or silent mode, launching the camera changes the sound mode to normal.
custom camera setting would be nice. I'm using Camera Zoom FX instead of the built in camera most time.
Just noticed that Snapshot enables the camera when putting the phone into a docking station. It would be nice if this unwanted behaviour could be disabled, because I'm using dock clock.

It doesn't seem like it is working on my Nexus 7. I hold it like stated, but there's no activation. I could help with debugging it. As the tablet doesn't have vibration, I can't completely confirm I'm in the correct position. Maybe having some optional sound or toast would help with calibrating position.

Latest update broke the app
The latest update disabled the default landscape setting. No camera apps are listed. I'm using Google Camera from the Play Store which replaced the stock camera app on my N5. This may be because per app settings in the new update is limited to Pro versions but it was working just fine earlier.

I have 1 huge issue with this app. I use a dock to charge my phone so whenever I place my phone horizontally on the dock to charge which turns on the screen, the camera launches as well. Can a setting be placed to disable the app working when the phone is being charged?
EDIT: Also the option for the app to be disabled after X seconds after the screen is turned on would be nice. I believe now that after the screen it turned on in portrait mode and any time that it goes landscape after that launches the camera.
Love it
Works great on my rooted stock rom SGS4, would it be possible to choose the camera app you want to use in the settings, so we don't have to choose each time ? I'm an idiot works great.
@Jawomo. Any progress on the sound mode change bug?
Also What does the setting "only when locked" do?
Hey,
I developed this app because I'm really an expert in forgetting stuff. I need notifications, that remind me. I know there are some of such apps in the Play Store but there are always some features missing, I'd like to have. With this app you can create Android notifications with title, description, icon, color, ...
Notify me
Here are all the features:
Set title and description of notification
Numerous settings to individualize the notification (Icon, Color, Alarm, App,...)
Daily or weekly repeating alarm
Light and Dark Theme
Numerous Action Buttons for the notification
Material Design
Share notifications
Heads-Up notifications (Android >= 21)
Notifications will be displayed on your Android Wear Smartwatch
Totally free and ad-free
Frequent app improvements based on your feedback
A screenshot of two notifications and how to create a notification

Where is the link man, at least provide the link as a text, when I search for the name, there seems to be a lot of apps like this.
Edit: It took me near to 10 minutes to find the app, I went through a number of notify apps, the app customization is what forced me to look into this.
Thanks anyway.
Oh damn I'm so sorry. Added the link.

If you tried this app with Android 4.1.x and you uninstalled it because it crashed, I would be very happy if you try it out now again. There was a bug only existing for Android 4.1.x, which I did not recognized before.
I released an update because the alarm setting got used way more than expected. It is now possible to set an interval. That means if you want the notification to appear every second monday you can set the first alarm, choose "repeat daily" and instead of "every" you select "Every 14". Furthermore it is now possible to repeat the notification monthly. And if you have a greek phone you can now use this app in your language, too.
Version 1.0.16: - Advanced alarm settings (repeat monthly, intervals)
- Greek added
With the new update it is now possible to change the sound of a notification. You can set it individually for every notification or set the default in the settings.
Version 1.1.2: - You can now change the sound of a notification
Your app is very usefull. I use the notification panel a lot and I can always see my note with this application. It also has everything you need. Thank you.
Thank you! Yes that was the reason why I developed this app. I need to remember a lot of things and ToDo-Lists aren't good enough for me. I always forget to look at them.
So, due to firebase phone may not sleep affecting battery life:
Code:
- Prevent phone from sleeping: Used by Firebase Crash Tool
- Full Internet access: Used by Firebase Crash Reporting Tool
- View Network status / WiFi state: Used by Firebase Crash Reporting Tool
You are right. I never thought about that, thank you! I just removed this permission. I'll test it a bit, if everything still works (it seems so). Then I'll release the update in the next hours/days.
Thanks again for your hint m0d. I've released the update now. The WAKE_LOCK permission is not there anymore and everything still works as expected. Furthermore I changed the icon for the "permanent notification" because it looked weird on some Samsung devices.
Version 1.1.5: - Removed unnecessary permission
- changed icon in status bar
After changig the sound and the color it is now possible to change the LED color (if you have Android >= Lollipop and your device supports changing the LED color). You can decide if the LED should have the same color as the notification.
Version 1.2.5: - You can now choose in the settings, if the LED should have the same color as the background color (only for Android >= Lollipop and not every device supports this setting)
I know the color picker is not the best. I'll try to improve it in one of the next updates.
For all spanish people here. You can now use your app in your language. If you find a wrong translation you can send me an email or fix it on GitHub: https://github.com/Lars3n95/Notify-me
Or if you can speak a language fluently which is not yet existing on GitHub you can add a translation too.
Version 1.2.8: - Added spanish translation
The new color picker is available now. And you can change the snooze duration via keyboard now.
Version 1.2.14: - New color picker
- Snooze duration can now be entered as text (settings) Version
Got some new updates for you:
Version 1.2.19: - You can choose in the settings if you want to see your notifications immediately after creation, before the set alarm

Now supports iOS14 like access dots too!!
Tired of apps which use GPS, switch on WiFi scanning and drain battery without notice. Toggle Track will notify you if WiFi scanning is switched ON by any app. Now you never need to check if WiFi scanning/ GPS is on, to save your phone's battery life.
I have built this app for the soul purpose to eliminate the annoying battery drain due to WiFi Scanning and GPS, which cannot be known without actually opening the sub menu in location settings. I find it helpful in saving battery. Hope you do too.
No root required.
Features
+ Access dots for camera and microphone added in v4.0
+ Track which apps used GPS. (Coming soon)
+ Free app.
+ Prevent battery drain.
+ Notifies when user left GPS on.
+ Notifies when WiFi scanning is ON.
+ Stats via pie chart, pull down to refresh the chart.
+ Persistent notifications settings also available.
+ Supports phones and Tablets.
+ Oreo v8.0+ supported.
How to use
+ Install/Update the app.
+ Grant permissions if asked.
+ For users running android 6.0+, disable battery optimization.
+ Customize your notification requirement in app settings.
+ You're good to go. Enjoy!

Try the app. Your feedbacks are appreciated.
Hi,
Thanks for your app
Il let my phone live a bit too see what it says.
Can it tell which app is (or was) triggering the GPS?
Some feedback
1. Please use a background service instead of the process.
2. Please have the option to display the data as a grid instead of a chart. The counts are not readable.
3. Is it possible to know which app requested for that location?
4. I have battery optimisation disabled for the app. I opened Maps and started navigation, but still didn't get the notification. I was expecting it to alert me instantly.

Thanks for the feedback.
1. Service is not required in this case. There's no process running also after few seconds on exit. But it seems your point (4) helped me find a major bug, which is fixed now.
2. In future yes.
3. Yes. Root access might be required.
4. Update to 2.5.5 and let me know your feedback.
Thanks for your help.
