[Q] LT18i Unlocked BL with WotanServer - General Questions and Answers

I've sim-unlocked my LT18i (Arc s) with WotanServer. Read that also this will unlock my Bootloader.
Is that true, because I can't start fastboot ? How if it's possible can flash custom kernel ?
Thanks in advance for any answers !

[Q] Bootloader

HI!
I have ununlockable bootloader, can i unlock it or no?
I have tried to instal new ftf but bootloader is locked and ununlockable too.
Maybe it doesn't depend on if i install new FTF?

[Q] As flashing the boot.img in the Tipo?

Hi, I have the tipe (ST21i) but with the locked bootloader, and I saw that in a post commenting that can install the CM10 flashed the boot.img.
I be able to do it on my phone using flashtool?
no first you have to unlock bootloader from sony website!
complete guide is provided here on the forum!
then only you can flash boot.img and cm10 rom.
Thanks, but the bootloader can not be unlocked, there is another method to unlock it?
if ur bootloader unlock allowed status is no, then presently there is no way to unlock as far i know. developers are looking for a solution to that!

Re-lock bootloader

Hey guys! I unlocked my bootloader keeping my DRM Keys by using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292598
Now I'm on ZyxxOS ROM and I would like to return to stock ROM, make root and relock the bootloader.
The problem is that I don't know how I can root the phone after flashing the ftf of the stock ROM, can someone tell me how o provide me a link to a tutorial? I've searched and didn't see any around the forum

Flash an insecure kernel. Its the easiest way to root. But in the OP you said you wanted to re-lock the bootloader, then you cannot boot an insecure kernel.
Please let me know if you will have a locked or unlocked bootloader.

Why? You will lose root when you re-lock
Just go back to stock and re-lock then use the massive thread in the general section to root.
Also, that rooting method works on unlocked bootloaders as well. Anything that works on a locked bootloader works on an unlocked bootloader as well.

Locked Bootloader Recovery?

Hey! My Z5 is new and I don`t want to unlock the bootloader right now. It`s factory new, so Android 6.0.1 (E6653_32.2.A.0.305) is clean. no root, no superuser etc.
is there a way to root and install the twrp recovery without unlocking the bootloader?

You can root without unlocking the bootloader, but in order to install a custom recovery you have to unlock the bootloader.
For more information on rooting and unlocking the bootloader, see this thread:

You need to follow parts 1, 2, & 3 to downgrade your firmware, then you can root with iovyroot. It wasn't spelled out in the thread I linked to (sorry about that) but you'll need to go to the iovyroot thread and follow the steps there to root your phone.
Can I ask why you don't want to unlock the bootloader?
