Aosp roms and vibration - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Are there any roms that have vibration control...I like haptic feedback on my 3 buttons but the Aosp roms are so aggressive. To me it kills the smooth "fluidity" of the Ron when every time you press one it's so strong. I know I can just turn it off but I prefer the vibration, just not that much.
Thanks

was going to ask this today. has to be a small text edit you can make to change the global intensity.

Change vibration feedback intensity?

Am I the only one that finds the vibration intensity on the nexus s while texting awkward? I remember the captivate had a feature to change the intensity, is there an app I can download for nexus s?
Good question, right now I feel it's a bit too strong. I'll post here if I find anything, don't count on it though.

I use BetterKeyboard 8 and they have an option to change the feedback rate.

Oh, thanks! Can't believe I missed that
I recommend Swype or SwiftKey...

MIUI is certainly a good one, especially if you like the iPhone look (you can change this of course with a custom launcher but the menus and such still look "iPhony"). If you're into trying out a few others besides MIUI you may want to have a look at CM7. One thing I like is that it has a wide array of tweakable automatic brightness settings. Every ROM I've tried, the brightness is either too dark at times (like when I'm in my car) or too bright such as when I'm in bed at night in a dark room. I don't like to always have to be fiddling with the manual brightness settings. With most ROMs you're stuck with whatever automatic brightness settings suit the developer. CM7 allows tweaking the brightness for specific ambient light levels, and has various overlap/hysteresis settings to minimize any rapid increase/decrease of brightness when the ambient light changes or is right on the borderline between levels.
With most ROMs you can turn the haptic feedback either on or off with no adjustments. CM7 allows you to tweak the exact level of haptic feedback you want. I like just a light "bump" of haptic feedback (about 20ms) when hitting the capacitive buttons or when long pressing an icon. Plus this saves a smidgen of battery life over the full blown haptic.
Couple the fact that the undervoltable LordMod kernels work with CM7 and MIUI and you've got a real winning combination, with battery life as good or better than the stock ROM.
+1 for MIUI. And people forget that it's CM7 based.

[Q][Question] Vibration Strength adjusting

Hello Guys,
Is there any chance to adjust the vibration feedback strength while these four keys on the bottom of the phone being pressed?
Sorry for my poor english.
It varies as to which kernel you are using, but be aware it will drain your battery more.
I had asked the same question few months back. The answer I get was "Change your Rom"...

Yes, both the stock sense 2.1 and MIUI ROMs vibrate more lightly than all these ported sense 3.0 ROMs.
My own question is that how can I adjust the vibration strength even though it has to modify the kernel.
Is there any parameter in the script XML file?

[Q] I want the awesomeness of MIUI w/o the bulkiness

So I was thinking Ill just go back to using cyanogenmod 4.1. My problem is, though, I adore that nifty "hold home key down on lock screen for 3 seconds" for the torch on MIUI. My question to you is, can I have the lightness of cyanogenmod stock jb with the awesomeness of the torch? If so, where can I get it? Thanks in advance.
First off its miui
And why not just add a status bar toggle for torch? You can pull down the status bar while on the lock screen and enable the torch
I'm also a fan of the feature but I haven't seen it in another aosp ROM

I thought it would be great to be able to do the torch thing like it does. It's neat. And I wouldn't know how to make a toggle for torch anyway.

You'd just enable it in notification bar. Simple

AOSP custom vibration?

Does anyone know of a way to change the intensity of vibration for haptic feedback and calls etc all separately (Or all together for that matter) in AOSP ROMS? It it's easy on tw Roms.
I like haptic feedback to be quite light.

I am running the latest Faux 010-tbu kernel on my nexus 4, and in his fauxclock app you can change the vibration intensity for the device.for each individual app i am not sure if you can do this? Have you tried any custom kernels?
