I have just noticed this ROM 'P6800ZCLPN_P6800OZHLPN_CHN.zip' on the Sammobile site. Its a stock ROM but there is no version number or other information. Any ideas what this might be. Thinking of flashing it using Odin but wondering if anyone else has tried it?
already being paosted about it 2-3 days ago... you can still read it on official firmware thread... still 4.0.4

Hello Guys,
I just bought a Samsung GT-S5570 Galaxy Mini. It's running Android 2.2 and I want to update it to 2.3.3 and get CyanogenMod on it.
I wonder how can I backup the stock rom, so I won't void the warranty after a rom update? If I would need to get it to warranty back with Android 2.2. Cause I can't find the stock rom nowhere.
up~ Any ideas anyone?
You probably already know this, but you would have to get the factory ROM directly from Samsung or your cell provider. If you do some searching around you might find it posted somewhere online. Best of luck and happy hacking!
I successfully rooted my phone and saved a back up just in case I go back and unroot again. I installed a custom rom which is VK ROM. Now I accidentally erased the back up file from which it has still no custom rom running to it. I was wondering how would I get back to stock rom and stock kernel and unroot.? Please advise. I'm just new so please make it easy for me to understand. Thanks!
Edit:
Just found the official firmware for my phone from intratech's posts.. However the link is not working. I can't download it.
hi
Now I've searched for STOCK ROMS but I don't know which one to download. I'm for JPKJ2. This is the link also from XDA Forum a
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278).
But there are 3 links attached to it. I bought the device here in Qatar. Can someone tell me which from the following links in JPKJ2 Firmware should I download? Because I'm troubled if I go with the link for Saudi Arabia or with UAE.
Thanks in advance!
Edit:
Now I know I should download the UAE version as what I have seen from outside of the box which is my product code. (GT I9100- LKAXSG )

Hi all.
I have watched the NOOB Video. I have scoured the forum. I have looked at other Android sites. I,m at a loss.
I have recently been given an old stock GT-I5801 that was never updated and network locked to Orange. To be able to use the phone I unlocked it. I gave my rooted xperia x8 running a hacked 2.2 to my son, as I read that the I5801 had an official Froyo 2.2 update. I installed KIES, updated as requested when first running the software, and it doesn't recognise the phone. I tried uninstalling/re-installing KIES and not updating it, I found that the phone had two Home screens (orange and TwLauncher) I tried connecting using both.
I have found instructions on how to put the official firmware update on not using KIES but the links to the firmware its self are broken.
I decided to update to a Android system 2.3.7 / CyanogenMod 7.2, however the instruction require I root it, the instructions to root are for Froyo 2.2
I'm going around in circles, I'm at a loss. can any one point me in the right direction to get at least Froyo 2.2 official on this phone. Thanks.
P.S. I may of ignored the part in the NOOB video that tells us to be brief...........sorry.
Just flash cm7 or any rom with odin, check the flashing guide in sticky thread.

Well if that's the only way, would been nice to have a fully working 2.2 rather than a hack with issues. I'll go look into the least problematic one, cant be any worse than 2.1 stock.

GT-I5801 has indeed been updated to Froyo and Froyo is one of the more stable firmware/ROM for our mobile.
You can download any stock Froyo ROM of your wish from the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1497261.
Esle, you can look up to this thread to use any of the Custom ROMs which have better features than stock ROMs http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1234591
I prefer Kisadworx or PuruKisadHybrid.
Download Kyrillos rom or any rom flashable via Odin. Just flash it no need to root as many roms are prerooted.

Okay, I already searched a lot of forums. But have not got any single good solution. Plz help!
So, my device is Galaxy Y GT-S5360 (rooted) and I am currently on stock rom. Of course I got bored so I installed JellyBlast Custom Rom. It worked perfectly except network. My device was unable to catch a network. Also I lost my IMEI number. So I installed my stock rom again using odin. And Ieverything worked perfectly. Again I tried to install another custom rom, but same problem.
So I searched many forums for solution. Some one was saying that your base bandversion is lower. Try changing firmware. My current baseband version is S5360DDMD1. Will this solve my problem? And which firmware version should I choose (Sorry but got confused, there are too many like XXL1, DDKL2 etc.)
Also, is there any other solution?
Thanks in advance
