I recently purchased a Karbonn A111, the specs of which are similar to MMX A110. Can the dev and user confirm if this is indeed the case. It is unbelievable to see so much activity in an Indian phone (though may be Chinese copy).
If the specs are similar, can the development be done for Karbonn A111 also? I tried to root it with bin4ry tool but did not work. Am getting "cp : write error: no space on disk" error. Supersu is seen in app drawer but there is no binary and says it cannot install binary.
I actually did the procedure without selecting MTP option. Later also tried with MTP but no change. Phone was lagging. After data reset lag gone but supersu still present and of course phone is no rooted.
Any suggestions?

Yes I know that. But the specs of Karbonn A111 seem very similar and if it is the same on the inside then maybe there can be a common forum for both. The devs here can maybe check that out and decide. I may be completely wrong on the specs.

Both the handsets come with 512 MB of RAM as well as dual core processor that too on Qualcomm's chipset. But the Karbonn Smart A111's processor has a clock speed of 1.2 GHz. It could be possible that Karbonn has overclocked a 1 GHz processor to 1.2 GHz.
Also Micromax A116 Canvas HD and Karbonn Smart Titanium 1 have similar specs

i am having this phone and i've used every trick and tweak to unlock phone if cloakworkmod provide new recovery mode then only it can be done adb procedure is not so useful for it..

So what are the things we have to do -
First, we have to root the phone then only we can use custom roms , mods , overclock etc..
To Root the Device we can follow the following procedures -
1)By Adb Procedure [Risky]
2)Using SP Flash Tool -
We need drivers , scatter file ,orginal boot.img
we also can find a clone of the device, from which we can use the boot.img
3)By editing the boot.img and injecting it

Can your make a original rom dump of your device and upload it, it will help us to edit the boot.img
And what are the technical specifications of the device(like baseband cpu ram rom internal memory etc...)
What else problems are you facing ?????? What are the pros and cons of the device (like hows it camera ,speaker quality, which games can it play???, benchmark etc)

i have tried every rooting software like z4root universalroot gingerbreak unlockroot exploit method and also tried to change recovery mode from 3e to other using rom manager but while connecting to internet i coudn't find my device .. it shows many othrer devices but not mine....
the device is good having qualcomm ARM7 processor with single core and gpu is adreno (TM)200 and graphics are openGL ES-CM 1.1 and benchmark is scoring 3610 pints that is good than samsung gt-s5830 and i've played games like pes 2011 nfs shift but most of the other games like hd go beyond screen what can i do?
i can't even copy a single file into c: directory and it is 190 mb....
i am not good at all this android devices because this is my first android phone can you give me procedure to do get original rom so i can help you!!!

As you are new to android , i will not want you to experiment with your phone .... as you might brick it. I soon as I get my own A56 I will create a dump and upload it.
We can't root the device or use update.zip because before that we have to edit the boot.img some how ......
If you dare to create a dump of your ROM then you can try this method - [ It is very unlikely that it will cause any harm to your device, as it just copies the file from your Rom to your micro sd]

We require more Devs and also require the details of the manufacturer of the device.
If some how i can get the boot.img the i might be able to edit it so that we can use unlockroot, superoneclick etc to root it.
The problem is i don't have the device so that i can test it

But we need a valid scatter file and a (unsecured) boot.img
this phone is based on qualcomm msm7225a and the mtk6573's or mmx a50's rooting procedure will not work on this phone .. It dosent got a scatter file like mtk6573 .

I have rooted my Gionee Pioneer G100 with superoneclick. The problem is to find the right usb driver. Pioneer doesn't offer them but you can find many MTK 6573 usb driver with Google. Just try all of them until superoneclick works.

capacitive button issue
Is anyone facing issue with capacitive buttons if the phone is kept on a table or any surface not in hand. Mine work if I am holding in hand but hardly register a touch if kept on a surface. Start working again if charger is connected on surface. Screen is also less responsive on table/surface.

Sorry bro but i dont have karbonn a9+.... if u have Your device's recovery.img then google builder.clockworkmod and upload it there.
If not Then You have to make a rom dump of your device via adb (google it) and U'll get ur stock recovery.img from the dump
Touch screen buttons not working
I have purchased this mobile from Flipkart about a couple of weeks back, altogether its a good VFM mobile but a strange problem is bothering me too much. its capacitive touch screen buttons stops working when you place mobile on any other surface except on hand or charge. I have made a video for that too (/watch?v=YtVYIyGiPk4).
The buttons work only in these conditions:
– Hold mobile on hand
– While on table touch mobiles back side by little tilting
– Put USB charger in socket (no matter its switch on or off)
– Remove the stock screen protector
The problem could be the screen protector but why it starts working when USB is inserted, its some sort of hardware problem. Also I cant remove screen protector as its glass is not of very good quality and will be spoiled easily, also no other good company makes screen protector this model.
Anyone have any solution for that?

Had the same issue with my A9+. Capacitive buttons not working on table. A white one bought from infibeam in Nov. Had it sent back to them as this was a hardware problem and got a refund. Now got a black one which works perfectly. Had a discussion with Patel nagar, delhi service center. As per them touch IC needs to be changed.

8= Battery calibration problem
Best method to fix is to install another rom, it will fix, if you want to keep it on stock rom so please download the battery calibration app, and follow the steps given!!!

Can't connect to wifi after installing Roms?? well here is the solution:
Flash the the jellybean rom (number 3) using live suit and and then try installing other roms

Power button broken?? i found a solution for p300-
The thing is, i couldn,t remap it- so i did the other thing- i downloaded this app called the AWESOME ON OFF from PLAYSTORE- download this and switch on the awesome on, and voila- your tab will get on when picked up
P.S. you can do this even if you don't have a broken power button

the lightning rom says for funbook pro.. it can be installed but i would like to say.. make a backup before i have no idea about it will work or not.. but my experience says that funbook pro always refers to funbook P300,, so sorry i can't try it for you as my tab broke... hope i helped u ... any more questions ... feel free to ask..
Is the battery or the callibration software defective? I calibrated the battery using BatteryCallibration but it discharges directly from 90% to 3% in just 5mins.

hey, if that is not working for you. then install CWM, go to advanced and wipe battery stats.. then it might work.. .. and i am still having this problem.. best way to install a new rom but my power button is broken

Yeah, I installed the allwinner rom today itself. Didn't check the battery performance though.

I just bought a pantech burst p9070 ,the wifi worked perfectly when there wasn't any sim card in it but after I inserted a sim card the wifi stopped working. I just bought a pantech burst p9070 ,the wifi worked perfectly when there wasn't any sim card in it but after I inserted a sim card the wifi stopped working. It cant connect to saved networks or search for new networks once there is a sim card in it.please help me solve this problem:fingers-crossed:

Yeah it should work.. but as i said.. make a backup before trying.. as some roms (even if they are made for the same tablet brick the tab).. (Y) all the best :thumbsup:

But can't root out... So as many other softwares and tools.... In really baffled and frustrated... Help me out rooting it..

I have same problem if any budy found out hot to root xolo play 6x-1000 please update it.. coz i really wana root my phone !!

this is a same hardware handset like clone inew v8 so plz cheack out this video. i am responsible if any damage or hard brick.
follew step carefully its work. it creats cwm recover and root it. u just need ( mtk droid tool 2.5.3) (sp flash tool 1352) and a mind which is in
working condition

also our is mtk6592 its been locked by kernel with fake info that its mtk6591. we can also enjoy taste of android L in future.

Its get detected as MT6592. I created the scatter file successfully. Noted the scatter address of the CACHE.
But while doing the READBACK process, it fails at 73% 721.77M done.
Error says:
BROM ERROR: S_FT_READBACK_FAIL(4009)
Readback from flash fail! Please press CTRL+ALT+T to turn on debug log then reproduce again!
Please help!!!
can we unroot it completely so my warranty does not break

I am not able to use OK Google voice feature . I have to open Google app to activate it even from home screen it's not activating by just saying OK Google
And can not access music menu like play pause on lock screen
And last one is there are no emoji in my keyboard..
Please help me to access these all KitKat features please

xolo 6x-1000 best performance
guys this the best phone ever yes it has mediatek chipset mtk6592 which is octacore, we have overall 6 cores installed but our kernel supports 8cores, also we have 3gb of ram 2g as displayed on box and 1gb of zram i.e swap ram and that is the reason able to play real racing, asphalt8, mc4,browser xda web page, next launcher, youtube, simultaneously.:victory: apart from ythis it has clear motion technology which is amazing which gives decent video playback and this technology is not even present on iphone and note3.
have got auntut score of 25500, and quadrant score of 10k+ nena mark score 61.1 fps also we have 4k support video:angel:

I got the same error during the read back process. What you have to do is, put the the battery in after plugging in the USB cable but not switch on the phone. Then it will work fine.
This step is missed in the video tutorial but I found it elsewhere on the internet.
