I have a Loop Connection on my Galaxy 3 - Kyrillos 10.6. Since yesterday. i cannot connect to GPRS. I have tried manually entering settings for new APN....but the problem persists.
The data roaming and national data roaming are also enabled.
Kindly help.
Try a factory rest
You wil lose all data but this usually solves the problem

before doing that, try wiping cache and dalvik-cache in recovery, for me that solved some problems i had with wifi, if it doesn't work, then you probably have to do a factory reset

So my setup is I take my phone to work and I charge it there while I work and listen to my music on it. Well, I just got this two days ago and it seems when its charging I can't get on the internet. It has a full HSPA+ signal. Restarting it fixes it for about 3 minutes while charging. If I put on airplane mode and take it off while charging, again it lasts for just a few minutes then no connection in apps/browser.
I've searched for some posts but haven't seen anything on this. Any ideas? I'm likely going to have to take it back to the store and show them my issue and try to get a new one because this sucks!
Thanks in advance.

Something like that happened to me once. I had full signal and HSPA data icon but I couldn't get a data, voice or GPS connection. I wasn't charging. After I reboot the phone everything was fine. Only happened once. I also sometimes get the data connection dropped while the voice connection has a strong signal, but in that case the data connection icon disappears from the status bar.
If I were you I'd backup whatever you have on your phone and do a factory reset to rule out any software affecting the phone. If you still get the problem I'd suspect it's a hardware issue and get it replace/repaired.
If you are on stock, try factory data/wipe reset. If you are rooted, install clockworkmod recovery, wipe cache/wipe davlik cache, fix_permissions. If above didn't help, probably a hardware issue, you need to get it replaced....

if rooted and using a custom rom, there is also a possibility that the issue is caused by overclocking. Many overclocked devices lose connection to the mobile network with no discovered cause yet.
@dbannisterjr, if you have a way to reproduce this problem please let us know. If you are overclocking your device, try lowering the amount it is overclocked.

+1 this is exactly what i was going to recommend
Hi all,
I am using cm-10.2-20130903-EXPERIMENTAL-evita-NODELAY.zip. I have one issue with wifi being not connected automatically. Wifi works fine if I connect it manually, but if I leave the house and come back- it stays on mobile data. Wifi is enabled, sees my home network (at least by the signal meter), but doesn't automatically connect to wifi when it's present. I think it does at my work place though- not sure what the difference there would be. If I ask device to forget the home wifi and reconnect it manually by putting in password it does connect.
So please help me out with this issue.
Thanks,
Do you use any power saving app that can control wifi settings? Did you try wipe cache/dalvik cache in recovery?

No I don't use any power saver app and I didn't try wiping cache/dalvik cache in recovery. Wiping cache would help?
So earlier today I booted into stock recovery and wiped the cache partition in the hopes that it might get the bugs out and speed my N5 up a bit. Well, while wiping the cache partition the phone frozen. I held the power button to reboot the device. The phone booted up fine, but I've seemed to have lost my carrier settings. I've taken the sim in and out several times and cannot get the device to connect to a mobile network. Carrier settings is not present under settings so I cannot manually update the profile. The phone is stock and running on the Sprint network. Anyone have any ideas how to get this thing working again? Thanks for your help!
Have you tried resetting your APNs back to default as well as setting preferred network to LTE/CDMA?

Depending what ROM you use.. Settings -> Mobile Network or
Settings -> More -> Access Point Names -> Menu -> Reset to default

It's not giving me that option. I'm running stock.

The option is there, you just have to find it under Wireless & Networks. I'm on a custom ROM so it appears in a different part of the menu.
Select Settings.
Select More Settings.
Select Mobile Networks.
Select Access Point Names.

I think thats what he means. "Mobile network" is gone.... Maybe?
Yes that's what i mean. Carrier Settings is missing as an option. I tired to do a factory reset under settings but when I click the button nothing happens. This is very odd.

This happened to me before. I wiped cache, it seemed like it hung up so I rebooted and lost network connectivity. Lucky for me (and you) it's easily fixable. Go back into recovery and wipe cache again. This time let it finish. It might seem like it's stuck but just let it run its course. When it's done, boot it back up and everything should be fine.

Thanks for the message; I wish I would have seen it sooner. I did fix the issue, but in a round about way. I tried to do a factory reset in recovery and the same thing happened it just froze up... or maybe was just was taking a long time. Anyway my impatience lead me to reboot, well that put me into a boot loop. Great... So i decide the only way out of this was to flash a factory image. Upon unlocking the bootloader and rebooting from fastboot all is back to normal. I hadn't planned on rooting my N5, but I'm this far now I might as well do it. Thanks everyone for the insight!
Wondering if anyone else is having this issue.. I just got my S7 yesterday and i was backing up some files onto it.. Fast forward today in the morning and my wifi will no longer turn on.. I tried factory reset and clearing the cache, but that doesnt work..

Yep, that was the first thing I tried, clearing the cache and factory reset, but no go. My last option was to re-flash the stock rom.. Took awhile to find the rom since I have the Canadian variant, with SM-G930W8. Re-flashed and got the wifi working again!
Hello !
Did anyone else experience mobile data bug after the latest update? My data won't turn on unless I put my phone in and out of airplane mode first. I tried doing network reset and wiped the cache in recovery mode but nothing helped. I don't want to to do the hard reset because I'm hoping for the oreo update and I'm planning to do the reset then. Is there any other way to solve this problem?
