Hey guys, my vibration motor is doing weird sounds so I want to replace it. Especially this happens in cases of short vibrations.
What is the partnumber of that module? Unfortunately I cannot find a service manual...
Where can I buy one (and send to Germany) for a few €?
I couldn't find a similar thread
found relevant info:

Hi guys, I've a problem with my HTC HD2.
When I make or receive a call the screen turn off and I can't do anything, I can't use the speakerphone or keypad, nothing at all.
If I want to close the call I must unlock the phone and hang up by navbar.
I've searched on web and I found many thread in relation to my problem; I've tried many solutions to resolve it but failed.
I've also disabled the light and proximity sensor but it didn't work. The problem still remain.
I've forgot to say that I changed the main flex and the display of my HD2 because the originals was damaged. Until now I never had any problem, it all started with the new pieces.
I tought that if the sensors were damaged the screen shouldn't become black when I answer or when I start a call, am I wrong?
Another thing, I've just inserted headphones in the phone and made the call from another device: the screen remains on and I can use all the commands without any problems. What could be the problem?
I hope someone can help me to find and resolve it.
Ps: I apologize if there are mistakes in my english but it isn't my mother tongue.
Hello,
I bought the 'created N7',
a 7 inch phablet that is like the ulefone u7/tronsmart ps7/luftco a onex/orientphone mega pro 7 etc..., and is sold by the factory with 4.4.2 installed
I found a bug in this product
The bug is about the bad working of the s-view window.
I link here a video where is possible to see how it should work:
http://youtu.be/lk1P9jziw64
The problem is that with the created N7 it is not possible to answer
to the calls without opening the flip cover:
when the N7 receive a call, the s-view window is not sensitive, so it
is not possible to answer
The sview with cover closed is sensitive only for a few seconds after the cover has ben closed, specifically only before the sview goes in standby (black screen)...after the standby, wakening the phone by a call or simply pressing the power button (without opening the cover) the sview seems not sensitive
These are two videos that shows the problem:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG6D...e_gdata_player
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-By6...e_gdata_player
This should be fixed, because is an important feature that is missing:
the phones like N7 of other brands (like ulefone u7/u69, luftco a-one
x, tronsmart ps7, orientphone mega pro 7) instead have a fully
functional s-view window
I already informed some created online sellers (kent wang, peter
yang... ) about this bug,
they told me that they will contact the engineer... but i have
not answer yet...i think they are not able to solve this problemi...
A seller told me that they send the leather case for free,
Its a gift , so i cannot ask them to fix this problem
Can someone help me to fix this problem?
I tried installing firmware of other device (luftco a onex 4.4.2)
But nothing has changed ...(and by the way i found that the luftco firmware
does not fit with my n7...the camera does not work with it)
Any hint?
Any suggestion?
I did some tests i found that actually the sview is sensitive also after the standby, but not enought to feel the touches through the screen...
in the settings there is an option 'increase touch sensitivity to allow the control through sview screen',
seems that this high sensitivity status is not reactivated if the cover is not opened after the phone goes to standby...
How can i fix this problem? perhaps some fix on touch drivers is needed?
Please help me!
Thank you!
Hello everyone ... on my Nexus 5 once again happened some incredible problem with vibration ... Here's the thing: Last night my Nexus just lay on the bed and when I took it, at this point I found the lack of vibration. First, I turned on Vibrate when pressing the navigation keys, and found no vibration. At first I began to sin on the vibrating motor, but I remembered that I was already have this problem a few months ago, in the same way. When I downloaded from the Market program to test the vibration and turned her to work constantly, I found that the vibration motor that works but is very weak, as if barely barely turns .. As if he did not have enough energy. But! Motor is spinning so bad until not "turn off the screen." After blocking in a few seconds the vibration motor is working again as if nothing had happened! As well and clearly. However, once you unlock it as soon as the problem returns, vibration works very poorly. I have tried different programs for vibration control, no result. Found a video on YouTube of the problem, attach below. If the problem is simply to reiterate, I would like to know the cause .. This problem is very infuriated me yesterday, vibration at all almost no and I missed a few calls. I understand the engine is all right and I think that this is some sort of deep software problem...
I have already booked two motors, then try to replace, but not sure it will help .. Phone never fell or dropped, handle carefully. (but the body have a little small scratches ) A very long time looking for information on this issue on the internet, but found nothing ..
I dont want to go to the service center, I want to understand itself, with your help, of course ..
Factory reset or Reflashing ROM to any other doesn't help too...
Model - D281 16GB white.
ROM - CM11 Snapshot M9
Kernel - ElementalX 1.04cm
Recovery - TWRP 2.7.1.1
Can not listen to what people say on the video, the main thing to hear the vibration motor.
P.S. Sorry for my bad english, I'm from Russia and I write through Google translator... Hope on your help, guys..
I'm new to this site and I'm hoping someone can help me or point me in the right direction.
I recently got my Idol 3 today, which I'm enjoying very much and is in great working condition, however my camera flash will not activate. I've tried the shortcut in the settings menu to activate the flashlight, a separate flashlight app, and the camera itself to no avail. I've browsed this forum and searched in google, but nothing has been helpful thus far.
Has anyone had a similar problem or have suggestions? Thanks.

You seem to have a defective unit. This should be covered by the warranty. Contact Alcatel and they should take care of you by replacing it.

If the flashlight control on the notification shade is not turning on your LED flash - then you have a defective unit. I would suggest a system reset, and if that does not help, get with Alcatel support to send the device back for a replacement.
Having installed 6.0.1 a week ago and pulling out my hair ever since over the Vibration Off problem(glitch?) where you cannot get rid of vibrations on notifications, I finally found a possible solution.
I had tried all the forum posts which said "go through each app settings, DND mode, etc.etc.etc." and done exactly as stated and still had vibrations on notifications, which was driving me absolutely nuts!! Checked and double-checked and quadruple-checked etc.etc. each and every setting to no avail....
Until I remembered: Most of the Samsung range (and some other models) actually have push-tab type connectors on the internal boards.. So, I located the vibrator component on the board of my Tab 3 8'', undid it and put a piece of thin non conductive material between the tab and the contacts, and TADA!! Problem finally fixed with a sigh of true relief!
I would not recommend this method to people who aren't at least a little tech savvy, in case you damage the board of your unit.. But I did a quick google image search to find where the tab for the vibrator was on the board, simply clipped off the back cover of my Tab 3, unhooked that tab and put the material between the tab and the board so it could nolonger make contact..
It's the definitive way to disable the vibrator mechanism, at least until a patch is released to fix this flaw in Android OS.
Hopefully this will serve to help others, as I've seen many forum posts, especially on 'googleproduct' where others are pulling out their hair over this issue..
