This is the mode for note 2 .real difference..sony bravia engine.more sharp image more contrast and brightness .press thanx
The Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 is a video enhancement program for Sony phones. It uses filters and algorithms to create a clearer and more contrasted picture and an overall smoother experience. This is perfect for the Note II's huge HD screen but can be a little to saturated for people like photographers who want to see how the photo looks exactly with out any enhancements. The change is not huge but is definitely noticeable if two devices are compared. This program is very light weight and works with all models of the Note II so far
A lot of the nubs on the forums may have no clue what you are talking about. Give description and detail please.
Any difference from brava engine 2?

I flash bravia engine 1-2-3 mod but i don't see any diference.
Maybe just placebo.
Friend, this is sony bravia 1. Compare the bravia 1 to this zip, and you will see no difference.
More over, bravia 2 has frameworks and apks this has only ETC file and 1 framework.
Please show some courtesy towards fellow members.
OP: This section is correct and details about it are more than welcome, information is always useful (maybe link to the original thread?).
Thanks for sharing with us!

So what's the deal? This is Bravia Engine 1 or 3?
Is there a working Bravia 2 at least?
Since this is actually Bravia Engine 1...

Pimp My Rom app has an option to flash Bravia 2 in MODS tab. I have tried it but couldn't spot any real difference.

here's what i wrote long time ago
it is not that simply by adding a few lines in the prop file as to port the bravia engine, nor by adding the be_photo, be_movie alone. if it were so simple, i will have ported it to all android devices more than a year ago
if in case u have not read my posts either on the s2/note forum here nor on my blog, i can tell u why it wont work:
assume u have an excel file (.xml), if you don have office installed, u cannot view it. even if you have copied all dll and exe files, u will need some registry entries. finally, even u have installed office and got the xml file on hand (ie u have the framework files/libs, etc), u need one more thing - to trigger it (by starting excel in this case), otherwise u wont be able to open the xml file
for your reference only. this gif was created by one of the users with my bravia mod. u should see something like this if the bravia engine is working properly.

This is NOT a port of any of the Xperia ROM.
This ROM is not in any active development anymore. Read why here. That link also includes an untested method to update to the latest Oxygen if you wish to, including telling you what will stay or be missing if you do so.

Instead, I am here to present to you an Xperia-themed ROM. Essentially, this is just Oxygen 2.2.1 with Xperia stuff on top.
Features:
- Whatever Oxygen 2.2.1 has.
- Trackpad to wake (it won't unlock for you though).
- Xperia Arc Launcher with 7 homescreens. (default Android launcher deleted.)
- Timescape (SE version of Friendstream) - updating status using the app says "via Sony Ericsson Xperia".
- Xperia's widgets.
- Xperia's ringtones, notification tones and alarms.
- Xperia Play's live wallpaper.
- Xperia Active's live wallpaper.
- Xperia bootanimation.
- Xperia Panorama (check Extras section).
- Xperia skin, including icons!! (Check Setting Up section to apply it)
Known bug:
- Timescape font is black. (It doesn't affect its every day use, maybe add a 1.2% annoyance to your experience only.)
- FC for phonebook when in Timescape mode. Phone logs are not recorded in Timescape as a result.
Extras:
- Sony Panorama app. (It just didn't work when I try to put it together with the ROM, so just grab the apk and install it on your own.)
Credits to AdamG for his Oxygen ROM, also anyone who has contributed in the development of that ROM. Without you all, I wouldn't have the base to add stuff on.
Credits to anyone who have posted in the Oxygen thread, and also all across the XDA forum. They are all wonderful information that teaches me more about Android.
Credits to Neroxmk, myth999, tomanlam for all the Xperia goodies.
Credits to hallydamaster for trackball to wake.
Credits to olboss for his auto-sign APK tool.
Credits to kevin2516 for his Arc skin.
I am a newbie in all these stuff. All I have done (and I actually know) is just adding/removing APKs, frameworks, permissions etc. No modding of whatsoever values, or what. And yes, I am also incapable to iron out any possible bugs that might arise from this ROM. But I will try my best to look for a solution if anything really happens. In the mean time, if any of the REAL dev is willing to take over my ROM, I will be glad because this ROM will certainly develop better under a REAL dev than me.
Nonetheless, I am looking at learning on how to (please let me know how to do these):
-Set default wallpaper. (Default wallpaper of right screen resolution is in attachment.)
-Set default ringtone.
-Getting its Music Player to work.
Downloads:
ArcXygen v2
ArcXygen v1
What do you need:
- HTC Desire of course!
- Recommended HBOOT of CM7 or CM7r2. But works fine with S-ON. (Probably won't fit Oxygen r2 HBOOT because system needs 105MB.)
How to flash this:
-Boot into recovery (recommend CWM3+).
-Full Wipe.
-Flash ROM.
-Sit down or get a coffee.
-Enjoy.
Setting up:
-Set up your ROM as usual (log in to your Google Account).
-Go to the app drawer and look for an app called "Theme Chooser".
-Select the 2nd skin named "XperiaArc".
-Stare at your phone and be amazed how great it is.
-Optionally, change the wallpaper as well, either to the Play/Active live wallpaper or grab Arc's default wallpaper in the attachment of this post.
Changelog:
v2
- Added Xperia Arc skin.
- Added Photo widget.

I tried to solve it today - using my very limited Android knowledge. It didn't work out.
Nonetheless, I don't find it a big issue. It's just affecting you when you are setting up your accounts. You won't get back to that page once you key in your login information.

Bootanimation: /system/customize/resource/bootanimation.zip. This can be moved to /data/local and a symlink kept in original locn
Def wallpaper: User in a file in \system\framework\framework-res.apk\res\drawable\default_wallpaper.jpg
Default ringtone etc: See /data/data/system. You will have to delve into it as I cant pinpoint the exact file
About: It is in /system/build.prop: ro.product.version, ro.build.description=

Just as you know! i flashed this over Oxygen 2.1.6 and its still working! so thats not a issue as the base code is the same

It's definitely possible for SGS as it just involves moving some apps, frameworks and permissions to /system to make it work. It also needs a change in the build.prop to let you update status "via Sony Ericsson Xperia".
I'll try to find a guide to make a flashable zip for edify scripting that can allow me to add and remove files. Then probably you will be able to have it in your SGS then.

Bare in mind that this ROM is roughly 10MB larger than Oxygen as SE gives way more ringtones to its Arc which I have included in the ROM. Quick System Info PRO tells me I have used 105MB of my /system partition so probably it won't fit Oxygen r2 HBOOT as well.

Quadrant score and battery life are all credits to Oxygen. I am not a dev and therefore am incapable to carry out tweaking and modding to improve those. I just simply toss in some apks to create a flavour of Xperia!

The FC I have with the ROM (I am using it myself now) is with the phone log in Timescape (which is pretty useless). Doesn't affect the ROM much though.
I had tried this myself on my Oxygen 2.1.6 ROM although all I did was to rip apk's from other devices and try to install them straight as I still do not know enough about making my own ROM yet. It worked to a point, the launcher is easy, and the widgets work with a little persuasion
Your solution is much neater and the widgets seem to fit the screen better, also there appears to be less FC, although not completely eliminated. No matter what I tried though, I could not get the market app to work, did a full wipe, re-install, even tried installing the new market directly and it flat out refused.
So from the point of view that the functionality was just too limited I have gone back to Cyanogen Mod 7.1 however, I do like the idea and direction you have. Always good to mix things up

The Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine 3 is a video enhancement program for Sony phones. This program is very light weight and works with all models of the Note II so far.
Quote:
While the latest BRAVIA ENGINE 3 builds on tried and tested BRAVIA ENGINE technology, it does so with the advantage of a new picture processing software.
This new technology has allowed BRAVIA ENGINE to improve - even in respect to its own dazzling performance:
Contrast. Increased depth and clarity, as well as new light control technology to control peak brightness levels, means stunning images even on the brightest of scenes.
Colours. New colour histogram technology detects and optimises overall colour distribution of each frame. This technology delivers breathtaking colour by making millions of improvements to each frame before you even see it.
Detail. Advanced Noise Reduction lies behind BRAVIA’s ability to show you every blade of grass on a football pitch and really put you at the heart of the action.

There seems to be one little off graphic thingy, on every theme of yours i've tried, that keeps me from running your theme on a permanent basis. I just wanted to share this because you deserve a great number of users.
Sometimes its the notification pulldown bar, sometimes it's the overscroll effect, sometimes it's something else.. Its the one element that stands out from the consistence of the theme and becomes a bit of a thorn in my eye. Snow overscroll, hard edged overscroll, country flag notification pulldown bar, BIG letters 123hiten, stuff like that.
You've got the most themes out there on n3 at the moment, and perhaps this is like a "signature move" on your themes to have some over the top graphic change, but be aware that it sometimes wreaks a perfect theme having this one graphic thing that all of a sudden pops out and screams in your face
To me the best themes are the ones that keeps a consistency throughout, and uses clear yet subtle graphic changes to everything. Sometimes less is more I just wanted to share this opinion, please continue to create, merge, mix and make. Keep updating and working.
Best regards -e

I present you my work 4 the first time, i have spent months working on this.
yeah i know i have taken stuff from many themes but still it took me months to decompile, compile working on photoshop and other softs
i 'll be adding names soon to the credits whom stuff i have taken from their work, please wait for a while...
i am a web-developer and photoshop expert, made lot of stuff for myself for my old handsets.. note 1, 2 and now 3 but never shared anything here on XDA, why ?
because i always thought people will complaint that this is mine that is mine bla bla bla, and i thought why should i get into all this and i stopped myself again and again.
dont know why i am doing this but i know how much i hate touchwiz and know many people do...
so here's the theme for you guys
enjoy.
ITS A CLASSY THEME, You might think why i buy samsung phones if i dont like their touchwiz, its bcoz i dont have any other choice..
best display, best camera, expandable memory, good looking phone, s-pen but the only thing i hate is touchwiz
thought i'll install AOSP rom like i did on note 2 but meah these 2 different versions one with snapdragon and another with exynos with no CM support... god not going to buy samsung again or i might buy snapdragon version from ebay nxt time.
just download the apk file and install as normal app
!!! you need to have xposed framework installed on your phone and Xtheme engine too !!!
just apply this theme using XthemeEngine and restart phone to see effect.
i am using this on Note 3 exynos version and it should work on n9005 phone too.
BTW i am Dr. Ketans V5 Rom
but i am not responsible if anything goes wrong with your phone:
attached are few screenshots and i'll be updating this theme whenever i get time, do post screenshots where you think i need to work on
please download and install Xperia Z modded keyboard also, and make your phone look classy and not cartoony with touchwiz
you might notice some difference in your dialer theme, thats because i am using my own edited dialer apk which i will upload here soon once i am happy with my work
thanks
gee
Updated on 28/05/2014 (v_1.5)
(Updated base apk to work with new roms, it should install now on all roms without any error. Removed phone.apk theming coz many were complaining. Will upload separate version of phone.apk with theming soon. Themed waiting icons with exact HD sizes so it doesnt look streched, themed s-pen popup to more flat to match my theme)

Hi there!
I didn’t really like the tuning of my s7 edge, it sounded tinny and weak so I ported the s10 AKG tuning to the s7.
This mod will only add the tuning, it won’t add dual speakers or Dolby Atmos.
Compatibility:
S7 or S7 edge based roms/stock made for Exynos, can't confirm snapdragon
There are now 2 versions, the full s10 one will probably only work on ported roms, but you can flash it and see if the sound still works, if not just flash the normal v5.
Features:
Makes the sound fuller, deeper and more detailed, now you can brag that your phone has AKG tuning too, just like the s10 bois.
Most of the files used are from the s10 running OneUi.
Recommendations:
Works best with dual speaker mod and Dolby Atmos
Instructions:
-Please make a backup before flashing, if you don’t like it you can always go back.
-just flash with twrp

@LeeXDA18 for providing the OneUI files and fixing some massive flaws
@Arianoxx for helping with the flashable zip
Changelog:
v1: first release
v2: fixed the flashable zip, fixed some files and increased compatibility
v3: removed unnecessary files, added more needed files and updated from latest dumps
v3.1: small update: added 1 file to improve vocals and clarity
v4: massive file improvements, should also increase volume and improve Dolby Atmos if used.
v5: proud to announce v5 is now using s10 files, the whole sound is now ported from s10 including pretty much all other files and Dolby!! note: I've made 2 versions, one is the full s10 port (V5S10) and one uses the oreo files (V5) on most stock based roms the full S10 version will not work, if you decide to try the full version and it doesn't work (sound is gone) just flash the normal V5 and everything will be fine.
v5.1:Removed the s10 mixer_gains, if you still have the old one (which this version wont delete) just flash my volume mod or dirty flash your rom.
Nice
Super nice mod! Love to use it together with dolby and dual speaker!
Hope for alot of development
Greets,
Youp

Something you forgot to add, device bootup will take a minute or two because the script does Delvik-cache wipe too. Plus I need to fix your zip its got a vital error.

Is root required?
Unless I am missing something (or I am totally tone deaf, lol), I did not notice any difference.

What did you pay for it? As I don't have the snapdragon variant I can't really tell which files are required, but new version is coming out soon with improvements and added files
