Nothing much. The Bootloader is still unlocked I believe. Head over to the Sensation Forums and maybe you will be of much use there Here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1112

i have same recovery signatire bt s-on.... can u plz share a screenshot of ur sd-card to compare with mine....how cm save recovery but one s-on and one s-off...thanx

Htc Desire S beginner

Hi all
As u can see i am beginner so i would have some questions to ask.
I would like to root device and use [Hyperion V2.1|Sense 3.0|GB 2.3.5],so pls tell me should i follow two specific videos for Htc Desire S on youtube about rooting device and installing custom ROM-s ?
My current kernel version is '2.6.35.10-g2ee27fS [email protected]#1 Wed jun 8',so what should i do about it,i have to flash new kernel to use hyperion rom or what(or it is automatically applied when i instal ROM)?
I am new to this device and to android so i don't understand how certain things functions and what should i exactly do,i don't want to brick my new phone

Please post details of your hboot (bootloader) version along with your current ROM details

To find out the Hboot number you must turn off your phone and then take the battery out. Then put the battery back in. You must then hold the down side of the volume rocker and hold the power button at the same time

thanks guys,i done everything as u said ,i done S-OFF than i rooted my phone and at final i flashed hyperion ROM...all is ok except one thing,my phone is still locked at carrier network can't use it with my current SIM so how to unlock it??

You need to take it to a shop or somewhere that does that, Rooting or S-Off does NOT sim -unlock

Any UK Orange Sensation Owners here? Also need RUU choice help

Just wondering if anyone here has a UK Orange Sensation handset and if so did it come with the usual orange branding?
Mine was supposed to be an orange handset (was second hand) but didnt come with any of the usual orange junk like my desire did.
Im wanting to put it back to stock or as near as stock as it was
When I got the handset it was showing the following information

well by chance the RUU I picked matched the original stock rom that came with my phone so although I was sold an Orange handset it appears I was not!
I picked:-
RUU_Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.45.401.2_Radio_10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M_release_208857_signed
Im still s-off but that shouldnt be too hard to change and then get this thing sent back for a replacement I think.

[Q] How Do I Restore My Sensation 4G To Stock Rom?

Hi, after 1 year of moving from rom to rom i decided to change to stock rom because i want to sell the phone, I want it to be stock rom like 1 year ago when i just got the phone.. is it possible? how?

The ruu must corresponding with your cid and region in order to have a success installation
Otherwise it will throw you error
Also post your bootloader details

ok first you can use any ruu because you are on S-OFF
are you supercid?
check with fastboot getvar cid

if I understand your CID right you are orange-branded.
so try the ruu for the orange one which you can find here

(second from bottom).
relock your bootloader if you are unlocked before running the ruu

Doesn't work..It gives me error 132:Signature error..

Hi, i know the thread is old, but is worth trying, i need to get back to stock rom, i only need the RUU or ROM for my HTC One S C2, my CID__001
and Radio 16.11.20.24_M i've searched but seems than in all the web there is no link alive and since androidfiles.org no longer has any rom from HOS Ville C2, i only can expect someone can share it, thanks in advance :fingers-crossed:
