Hello everyone, i have a question... Do you know if Link2SD works on Rashed97's CM10 Build 7/Final (P500)?
Yes it does.
Although if you've already got things installed, or the system partition is too full, it might fail to create the script. I've found it best to install it and set it up first thing after flashing the ROM. Reboot to create the script, then reboot to recovery and flash Gapps.
There's also Int2Ext (various types) and Mounts2sd that'll work with that ROM, as well.
R: [Q] Link2SD with Rashed97's CM10
Thank you.. I'll try and then i'll tell you if it works or not
EDIT:
it's working ...thank you guy

would it mess up an existing CM9 ROM, which has been in use and configured with data and all ?

Shouldn't. Just do backup first to make sure.

going to give custom kernel a try then
i did a ADVANCE RESTORE from recovery on /boot and that worked to restore the older kernel
hopefully nothing else got compromised
Questions should be asked in Q&A forums, not Development forums.
Thread moved.

You need to find appropriate kernel 3.0 for your kind of ROM (based on ... iSC, JB...aokp, cm...), download it, put it on sd card on your phone, and flash it without wipe anything from recovery.
Hit thanks button if I helped...

You have 2 mistakes:
1) he maybe don't know who "sak" is (sakindia123)\
2) he might don't want to use it on CM10, and there is other builds, not only sak's.
Most of the dev will updated their thread for kernel 3 flashable zip some of them even released the new build of their ROM with kernel 3 check it....

Yes! Dont you ever try to touch ROM Manager. [WARNING]. you will may end up with a BRICKED galaxy fit. (btw its supported by galaxy fit, but better is not to touch it) and one advise....is as soon as you boot in cm7, remove ROM manager..
and yes you can try CM 10 RC2 by yajanab..its good, and you can try CM10.1 by erikcas as well.
happy flashing
thnx for the warning, now m moving to cm 10

I simply delete the rom manager apk from the zip file of the rom before flashing . It atleast makes some space in the /system

To be very true Cm10.1 latest build is way better than Cm10 Rc2.. No offence.
Cm10.1 is smooth and the camera works also smooth video recording as compared to cm10.
check it your self.
Good work by both the devs (Erickas and Yajnab) :good:

Hello guys,
After I update my xoom from cm10.1-20130323 to cm10.1-20130327 , the gallary and camera is disappeared. So I full wipe, then flash the cm10.1-20130328 ,but still cannot find the two apps. What is happened?!
Not a big deal....install Quickpic and any other camera app.
Press thanks on help
If you did a full wipe you have to install GApps again. Probably it will work, if not try wiping System and Data, then try flashing cm10.1 and GApps again
Make sure you are using the unified gapps for cm

yesterday I resored my backup of stock rom and I searched a lot in the forum about increasing internal memory but didn't find any....can anyone help me?
Check index for a2sd on stock Rom.
Or
Use mount2SD app from play store. You need custom kernel~ateeq kernel and ext partition.
Similar procedure

First you have to get init.d support
There is an app pimp my rom use it to get
Then flash any memory script
If it not work then try to flash custom kernel
Like cramium or ateeq
Then use pimp my rom to get init.d support then flash memory script:thumbup:

Simply use link2sd as it is best suitable app for stock roms..
customs roms are awesome., you just need to find the one that suits you better.try jaggyrom or ateeqrom, both have memory script pre-included.
The only way to get "increased internal memory" is to reverse mount the sd-ext partition.
Here's something that I did in Cyanic Sense: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41204177&postcount=2
And, may I know why a ~6 month old post is being "bump"ed?
Thank you guys. Link2Sd works great. i appreciate your help.
