He's having problems flashing roms but can still boot into recovery so hasn't bricked his phone, maybe?

What do you see when you boot into recovery? Not sure how one can loose a recovery unless you tried to flash a different recovery.

Yes I've try some weeks ago to unlock and root my device. In that moment I didn't knew that my device is S3 core. And of course I have flashed an recovery for S4 core.
In this moment when I try to enter recovery it stay on the white scree hours if I let him like this. Like in attachment.
I am shure that it is an chance to be repaired but the question is how?!

If you can locate a stock recovery for S3 you can flash it back.
Personally I have not seen one. There's a custom recovery for S3 now.

If I understand correctly I have to connect my phone to PC via usb cable and then just runn the *.*.exe from windows?
Is that the right way?

Yes, lock the bootloader then run the RUU
I dont know that my phone is S3 until I unlock bootloader and flashed a S4 recovery. If I enter recovery menu it shows attached image. Now I cant enter recovery so I cant root my phone to flash a custom recovery. What I should do to root and flash a custom recovery?
Is there a way to flash kernels with s on what can I do with s on I know you can flash roms but what else can I do

Hi,
Flashing kernels is fine.
Make sure you have 4 EXT recovery,and "Smartflash" enabled.

I tried this and stuck and htc logon screen.
So be carefull.
I am also looking for a way to have s-off without going back to stock kernel ( I dont know how).
All tutorials are when you have stock kernel

Do you have to flash back to stock, I eventually want to s off but at the moment phone works pretty good it was pretty easy to getting root an recovery, unlocking boot loader so when I decide to s off do I have to do anything special to start the process?

So I was going to switch roms on the fly and use flash image gui and found the rom, selected recovery img, and flashed. Success, so i rebooted to recovery. Weird part is, it took me to bootloader. Thinking I hit the wrong thing I moved to recovery and it sends me to fastboot. I assume I did something wrong and have to flash twrp again?

K I got TWRP but everytime I power down the phone, it jumps back into fastboot 5 seconds later. Uhm, What? lol. I messed up bad this time...

Fastboot reboot recovery
That command doesn't work. To execute a fastboot command you need to have the phone in bootloader right?I tried it from fastboot and from bootloader.

That worked! Im in TWRP now. Thanks so much! Worried I wouldn't be able to boot up but I did. Phew!! Dont do that again... ok then. Is there any way to flash the boot img on the fly without fastboot?
Depends on the Rom. A lot of them you just download Rom to sd card then intall through twrp. No img fastboot needed on a lot of roms when using twrp. What img are u trying to flash?

Idk any. I was trying to flash clean rom 5.1 but it always gets stuck on the boot.
In the current ics version of venom rom the camera refuses to work. I can sometimes open the app but is always a black screen. Any ideas?

Hmm I believe that viper 2.4.2 addresed camera issues. To get that version you have to do ota update and it pushes update to your phone ...so if you have viper 2.4.0 just check for update as you would normally

I think you meant 2.4.1.

I did the ota update and I'm running it now. Still no dice with the camera. Starting to get annoying. Can't find anything like this online. Any other ideas?
Edit: I am running elementalx kernel. There's another q in here about the same Rom with the same issue running beastmode kernel. Could this have something to do with it?

what is your firmware version?
also try to flash the rom with another recovery
I agree with rzr and would recommend using 4EXT recovery.

I was on a lower firmware than the roms I was flashing
So I found a GB rom and flashed and it worked
Then I did S-off since it was already unlocked
Updated my firmware and now everything is fine I can flash any rom I want
