Easy App Toolbox - Android Apps and Games

Hey everyone!
My next creation is finished (well, the first beta version of it ) -> Easy App Toolbox.
It aims to be a wide collection of tool to handle your apps. For the beginning it contains the following features:
Share/Send apps (via Gmail, Facebook, Whatsapp, etc...)
Backup and Restore to/from Dropbox
Backup and Restore to/from Google Drive
Backup and Restore to/from Box.net
Backup and restore to/from SD card
Backup to PC
App details (permissions, activities, services, files and folders, etc...)
The app does NOT need root access!
As usual, I'm very curious about your feedback!
Grab the app at the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.goddchen.android.easyapptoolbox
or via QR code:

You have 3 selections each time for free, if you want unlimited selections, you have to purchase the in-app purchase, but the cool think: YOU choose freely how much you want to pay

Good point!
sms backup will be some custom format (JSON or something). But what format would you suggest for backing up contacts? vcard? So that you can use the saved files in your Dropbox/Box/Drive in other apps, too?
I think it vcard is the best choice, is it?

Yup vcard is best

Although, while thinking about it:
This is an APP toolbox. Backup and restore of sms and contacts is not really related to apps. Do you agree that it would be better to create a seperate app for that?

Ohh yeah you have point

That's impossible without being rooted unfortunately (without making use of an addition desktop client)

If you are considering to add support for root then could you please add a feature to freeze multiple apps by selecting them? Thanks!

I'm still thinking about adding root... Not decided yet...
But what do you mean with "freeze" exactly?

Is the contacts backup feature included yet??
I'm having a hell lot of trouble backing up my contacts every time I flash my phone...

If you look some posts earlier, we agreed that this is an APP toolbox, and contact sync has nothing to do with APPs But I'm thinking about releasing a separate app for this.

Is your mobile phone’s running speed becoming slower and slower? Are you suffering from it?
Do you know why your mobile phone is not as fast as before? Want to solve the problem to let your mobile phone run as fast as it could be?
The reason is that your mobile phone is getting more and more cache files! Cache files produced in Android market, Brower, Email, Twitter, Facebook and so on. What you need to do is to remove those cache files to get more available storage space to speed up running speed.

What happens when you click the center button? Does this clear all four individual sections? I didn't want to delete my messages and history at the moment so I didn't use that center button fearing it will also clear those sections.
Thank you very much for this! Been looking fire something like this to put on my gf's phone for a while....
For some reason I can't get the .apk to install... it just hangs on the "installing" screen.
Using a UK Orange locked HTC Desire S, absolutely stock, first issue I've ever had with apps not installing on any of my devices.
Any ideas?

i have "Samsung Nexus S I9023" and i just flashed the ROM from this thread : [ROM][CM9-A11]-=Nexus MV 2.11.30=- | franco.kernel 11/29 | SuperCharged |
So when i when i open the contacts list it does not show the SIM's contact (i attached a screen shot of the phone) and cannot find the option to show them anywhere.

What file?
there is no file it only allow you to import from a file not to export it. And if it did it i guess it wouldn't backup the SIM's contacts i guess.
right you want to put your sim contacts from sim to phone yes.. i thought you had them in a file already.
ok do you use ms outlook to store calendar & contacts? if so you can export them from outlook in file format (if you don't know how then google outlook import/export).. then place the file to your phone.. done.
or if you use google sync, and had sync'd you calendar & contacts before then simply re-sync your phone.
If all you need is to show sim contacts and you have no alternative, try the above or start from scratch.

On my ICS (MV2), there is an option to 'Import from SIM card'. It then gives me a list of all my contacts on SIM and I can import them freely.
I don't know if the import actually works because I don't have any SIM contacts, but it should.

[APP][1.6+][ROOT] - BackDrop Root (Backup Apps / Data / Settings to Dropbox)

I just published BackDrop Root to the Market and I'm looking for some feedback...

* Scheduling backups?
* Support for other backup services in future? Minus? Box? SugarSync?
Bought a key to support your work.
Thanks.

Thanks for the support! Scheduling backups and support for other backup services are something I am considering in the near future. Specifying a folder to backup to / restore from would be a little more complicated, but is also do-able... I'd have to gauge the interest level on that one.

Name change
FYI - I renamed BackDrop to "BackDrop Root" so it's easier to find in the Market.
Took it for a spin. Pretty spiffy. Cheaper than Titanium, too (I'd probably buy it right now if I hadn't bought Titanium already).
Things that would win me over (in order of priority):
Ability to keep multiple backups, not just latest (on a per-app basis. Some apps, I wouldn't care, others have data that I might occasionally want to roll back)
Optional Encryption. I don't really want to store my SMS in plain text on Dropbox
Trigger a CWM NANdroid backup, then sync this to Dropbox.
Evil-Dragon's ideas (so all suggestions are in one place)
Scheduling backups?
Support for other backup services in future? Minus? Box? SugarSync?

On rooted transformer prime, and it doesn't restore data just the apk.
Great idea. I tried to backup my sms with your first release and now the restore of SMS doesn't work. I even updated your app, but still error. The phone crashes.
Glad to find a way of restoring your backup manually via RootExplorer.

Just posted v1.0.9 to the Market... Can you give that a try?
Any chance of adding a link to market on restoring applications. I've had real problems after restoring with backdrop and then relinking with titanium backup. If backdrop did this as part of restoring then it would solve these problems. Hopefully.

Titanium backup has no issues with creating backups.
Would be really useful for me but seems any development has stopped unfortunately.

I would also appreciate encryption.

Very clear interface, easy to use, does the job of several apps. Only thing missing, 4 me at least, is a "freeze app" capability. Otherwise excellent app, keep up the good work.
It is possible to add option to start schedule backup at definied time?

[App][2.2+] ARIS SMART HIDDEN BOX

Everyone always have some private stuffs on phone that we'd like to own ourselves, like pictures, records, videos, audios. But how can we protect them when someone attempts to access them. This app help us to don't worry about this. We're building the system that protect all data on phone from pics, video, sms, app, records, docs, …
The advantages of app than some apps on Google play:
1. Support audio, record protection, sms, call log, apps
2. Encrypted time for the video which size is over 1Gb, just about 15 seconds
Main features:
1. Pictures: All files will be encrypted into a private place, can only be showed in ARIS Smart HiddenBox after entering the correct password.
2. Records, Audios, Videos: the same functions like pictures
3. Backup & restore: we could create the data backup and could restore on another devices that installed ARIS Smart HiddenBox
4. Automatic restore: we have some encrypted data on our app. But unfortunately, someone uninstalled this app. And it will restore automatically all encrypted data, if we reinstall it.
Update version 1.1
1. Encrypte PIN before saving.
2. Improve the speed to change switch screen when login.
3. Support Hide a large file (>6GB)
4. Improve loading performance, scroll speed.
5. Show confirm dialog to notify user when there are something error(back up, restore,..)
6. Change logic for auto backup: if there are some error occur when hide/unhide files (sdcard full), users unsinstall app, install app again, the previous hidden files remain.
Update version 2.0
New function
1. Hide SMS : hide selected SMS
2. Hide Call logs : hide selected call logs
3. Lock App.
4. Open Camera and hide picture, video, audio that are captured from it
Improve function
1.Improve the speed to hide/ unhide files
2.Allow users choose mode to hide
3.Specific location on SDCard
4.Allow cancel hiding files process when hiding.

This app is really useful. It help me to secure some private stuff. Capture pic from camera and hide them is really interesting. I like it.
