Original stock firmware for the 8013? - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I can't seem to find the original, stock firmware for this device.
I just want to go through the actual upgrade process for the thing, and hsve looked through the development section of this forum...they're all rooted, which stops the official upgrade process....

has official stock 4.1.2
maybe on sammobile?
I downloaded it a while ago, but can't for the life of me remember where. I'll update my post if I find it tho

I downloaded mine off SamMobile. Took forever and several attempts due to the horrible Hotfile hosting. But I got both the 4.0.4 and 4.1.2 images. Both work perfect using Odin. You have to unzip them before loading into Odin

Thanks so much!!! Ugghh...hotfile...but yes, much appreciated. Downloading overnight,

[Q] Update via Kies

I tried many different things like installing the oldest stock Eclair firmwares and old Froyo firmwares but when I connect my phone, Kies tells me that there are no updates. I'm getting really angry about this. Can someone give me a solution please? I'm really, but really tired of this.
Please, don't start about flashing with Odin please.
If you want to have an older build, you will have to push it by Odin .
Kies won't show you another build than the latest in your region .
So, which one should I try first to make sure I get an update?
Flash One of the 2.1 Firmware from this Link http://www.sammobile.com/showthread.php?t=12
Try to reinstall Kies
Then connect your Apollo to your PC .
It should propose you an update normally
Kies never seemed to work for me after many stressful hours. Now i just flash stock ROM's via odin. Just go to the Samfirmware website and navigate from then.

Same here, but instead of flashing stock ROM's via ODIN, I flashed Kyrillos' ROM OC and my phone now runs much better than it used to

2.3.6 help

Hey im still learning things so please cut me some slack. After the update to ICS, my phone basically felt like a paper weight with all the bugs. so i used odin to get me back to 2.3.5 and figured i could use the ota to update to 2.3.6. well ive found out thats hit or miss. today tho it finally went thru and downloaded, however when it rebooted it went into CMW and was unable to install. now as you can figured when i checked for updates again it told me software up to date check back in 24 hours, but my software is still 2.3.5. All im looking for is the original 2.3.6.. does anyone know if i can download it and flash it through CMW somehow? I did find this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1548750 I downloaded the one that says 2.3.6 untouched but when trying to use odin with it, it ****ed up and almost bricked my phone. Is there a noob guide for this? becasue it contained img files along with several tar files. Im just unsure how to do it correctly. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

[Q] Official firmware and Hotfile

Hello,
I'm looking to return my P5110 UK tablet to stock. Unfortunately I cannot get hold of the firmware as they all seem to be hosted with Hotfile which has shut down.
Can anyone help provide a mirror?
Thanks.

go to samsung-updates.com and select your tab and download the desired file
there is also a way to download the file from upload.net along with hotfile so you can choose
Tried that but clicking either of the download links for my tab just opens another page of the same thing (and uploading)! I can't believe downloading Samsung firmware is so difficult, it seems nearly all links are Hotfile.
Don't Samsung themselves offer firmware files?
Thanks.

Click on "Free Downlaod"

Thanks, found it.
I think at the d/l speeds it might be done by the end of the week!!! Oh well, better than nothing.
Hopefully I'll find a quicker mirror in the meantime.

Well this is turning into a nightmare. Who would think firmware for a Samsung product would be so hard to find. The only one I have managed to download for my Tab 2 is not playing nice with tablet (took 15 hours to d/l). It was the firmware for 4.2, not sure if that is the problem as I had ICS before. Anyway, gone back to Samsung Updates, pretty much every single file is just showing as "uploading" on their mirrors. God know how long that will remain.
I have searched on google since yesterday morning for a firmware file, 99% of them are hosted with Hotfile which is obviously dead. You would think Samsung themselves would make these files available
I picked a good time to decide to unroot my tablet. Figured firmware files would be easy enough to get hold of!!!

How to Upgrade my Tab 2 7.0 P3113 from 4.1.1 to 4.2.2

Just want to know the best way to go about doing this, wary of my google search results, sites seem sketchy. My Tab is not rooted, I don't mind flashing data. I'm in Canada so I cannot upgrade thru kies or OTA.
If you want to keep it completely stock, no root, the easiest (or, maybe the only) way is to download stock 4.2.2 ROM and flash with Odin. You can check sammobile or samsung-updates, but getting the file might be a hassle after all that recent mess with changing file hosting from hotfile...
Also Upgrading my Tab 2 7.0 P3113 from 4.1.1 to 4.2.2
I am also in Canada and looking for the 4.2.2 stock rom as well.
So far every listing I have searched for has been unsuccessful for getting the files due to hotfile shutdown or the other sites make you wait only to do nothing after clicking on the download buttons.
So please let me know if you find the 4.2.2 stock rom....

First come, first served - could be a traffic limit. This is not the latest one (the newest is CMK3), but it's what I've got.
I've never used odin, what version should I use. Also do I need to do a fatory reset before hand. Never done anything to my tab 2. Total noob.

Sorry, but you'll have to do some reading, since all these things have been explained many times. No point repeating it here. You can start with the Tab 2 FAQ:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182096
Here is the thread about Odin and flashing tools in general, with version compatibility info, links, instructions, etc.:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2189539
The odin forum doesn't list the tab 2 in the compatibility list, which version of odin should I use.

I just checked my laptop, and I have version 3.07 -- looks like that's what I used for both Tab 2 and my old SGS2. I haven't used Odin for a very long time, so I forgot... 1.85 should work, too.

Which version of odin are you using? You don't have a mac do you?
Download the actual firmware for your phone from the official Samsung website. sammobile.com. Don't be downloading stock firmware from file hosts, or dropbox. You need to register for free on the official sammobile.com and then attempt to download your firmware. The firmware is a large file, so make sure to have good WiF/data connection. And yes, make sure you're using the latest version of Odin. Good luck!
