"Hello Brothers"
Brothers today got my laptop back from Service Center, and so work started again.
Presenting you a brand New Recovery for our Canvas. It will be a semi-touch Recovery, with navigation buttons at bottom. I will try to keep it up to date with the help of Masters.
Few Features of COT-Recovery :-
1) Easy to Use.
2) All Backups and Restore Working.
3) Possibilities to theme recovery also.
4) Possibility to remove prompt for yes or no.
5) Single click pre-flash wiping option. Like Formating and wiping data,system and others.
6) All other functions like CWM Recovery.

For me it worked and then I flashed a Rom and it also worked. Do make a backup first to get it confirmed brother....

Actually brother,
You know me personally and the recoveries are making me crazy specially the touch modules.
But yes its fun to have new ROMs, Recoveries and Kernels. That's what Android is meant for.

I can try for it. Do post your working recovery, boot.img and the sec.ko file from your your stock ROM. I will try that on Sunday. Very hectic schedule and from Monday its going to be Hell schedule so will try to finalize everything by Sunday itself.

Use Mobile Uncle tool from Playstore or flash through SP Flash Tool. Flash tool instructions are given in A110 Genral Forum.

How Does It Work ?
This app is a simple bridge between Device And Server . It uses JSON (JavaScript Object Notation ) Parsing to parse data from server and compare it with data on the device . That is what makes it simple and fast . Then after downloading the recovery image , it gives you 2 choices either to flash image directly or store it so you can flash it later using the app . Some features will be added to the app like managing backups , flashing roms , wiping data ......

Q : I opened the app and it gave me a dialog saying That device is not supported
A : For some devices you need to install recovery manually as they might defer in boot loaders ....
Q : I installed recovery but my installed recovery version is still the same !
A : The app parses your last recovery log , so you need to reboot to recovery so the change's can take effect .​

you can try it , as TWRP supports many many devices , i can not know if there is support or no , if there is you will be guided with the app till the end , if there is no support you will see a dialog saying that there is no support

Great, simple and useful= perfect
I just finished installing this on my N5 and N7 2013. It worked perfectly. I was running TWRP 2.6.0 on both devices and the app recognized that and told me there was an updated version available. I ticked install, it downloaded the new version, I ticked install now, it then gave me the option to reboot to recovery so I ticked yes and it rebooted to TWRP now showing 2.6.3. This worked perfectly on both devices. Thanks for the great work it is truly appreciated.

INSTRUCTIONS : ( Read carefully )
The recovery has been tested in A117. Touch fully working. Backup and restore options are also tested and working perfectly !
Installing files also working. ( Choose install from sdcard1 which is your memory card. Same is the case for backup [Choose sdcard1 as your backup path] )
1. Download the recovery file from the given link.
2. Copy it to your sdcard.
3. Use MobileUncle tools to install the recovery.
4. Reboot to recovery and see the magic of Philz.
If in case you find any installation problem flash the recovery through SP Tools. ( I prefer this method )

As sdcard is the path to /data/media/0 so choosing sdcard will consume your app installation phone memory so choose only sdcard1 which is your external sdcard
Aromafm also working.... Just place aromafm.zip in clockworkmod/aromafm/*here* in external sdcard
If aromafm does not work on clicking aromafm then again click it, it will work....

I couldn't find any testers @Geek-DROID bro. Just one guy tested and he said internal storage didn't work and later he said it worked. So i wasn't sure of feedback. So i just mentioned not working to be on the safer side No one here posted feedback about it as well. So it's left to you to confirm if t works or not.
This s the latest version. My heading s wrong This version is Philz 6.41.5 based on CWM 6.0.4.8. Haven't u tested it yet? The version no would have been there. Latest of philz is 6.41.6 and i guess u don't need that !
I have worked the latest TWRP 2.7.0.0 full touch and working successfully. If u need it let me know.

HOW TO INSTALL
Use custom KK recovery from here.
I prefer [CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch 6.57.9 - cwm 6.0.5.1.
(Internal sd-card refereed as sdcard00, external as sdcard01)
Download rom zip file.
Put into sd card.
Flash the desired recovery.
Boot into recovery.
BACKUP CURRENT ROM
Wipe for flash of new rom.
Or wipe data/system/delvic cache/cache.
Select Install From SD (Internal or External)
Select the zip file and Select YES
Reboot.
THINGS TOBE NOTED
First boot takes time 3-5 mins so be patient.
After the boot logo (boot logo may look as if its stucked)
blank screen is seen its not hanged.
wait until it boots.
Phone reboot once inbetween so dont worry.

Have kk base currently on android L rom.
Happy to have cynogenmod test to our device..
First thing i noticed is... its not rooted... though the op says it & it has superuuser in system/apps.. checked with root checker too. When tried to boot in recovery it booted in factory test mode... rebooted.
Installed rootmaster to get root access.
Then installed flashify..
Flashify showed filz recovery as current.. booted in philz recovery through flashify..
Tried to flash the rom again..
Same result.
I think something wrong with my device.. can it be becoz of uboot flashing??
Will try one more kk rom to confirm.
BTW.. all basic things working..
Wifi- google sync-:thumbup:
Wanted to test some more things but feeling sleepy now..
Also the rom is not deodexed.

Great job avi bro, I'm sure you'll be able to make actual CM. Devs are able to make CM11 for Micromax A116. Still few bugs, but are successful to a great extent.

No.. The flashing was normal, no such instructions/ requests, phone booted normally, yes hut for first flash it directly booted .. Without one time wizard.. It didn't asked for google account.
But for the second try one time initiation happened normally. With req for google account & all.. Rather than this diff the issue of no root was same...
One more thing Do you use Airtel sim???
After flash I get service providers name as Airtel though 'm using idea. It turns to idea after some time.

Micromax canvas tab p702 all you need

Here i am making this Thread for help (micromax canvas tab p702) users
it's a mtk 6735 device, with resolution of (600x1024) with 159 dpi.... based on android 5.1
here is how i rooted this device
i rooted it by using kingroot app

I also ported custum TWRP recovery AND PERSONALLY CHECKED .. but our bad luck that (touch is not working in twrp recovery but it's (working fine by using otg Mouse)) i checked and ported 2 different version but same problem.. i searched solution for the problem but that need resource released by mtk

just rename any one of these recovery.img and flash it by ( flashify app ) available on play store
STEPS TO FLASH RECOVERY in Tab
First Root Your Tablet Through Kingroot App
Download Flashify App
Open It And Grant Root Access
Select Flash Recovery Option
Choose recovery.img File
Wait For It To Be Flash
done
Now let's go on the firmware part
You can use your firmware for (unbricking / formating / and for stock rom)
you can use firmware in (bootloop / rom error / system file damage / system ui stopped or even set dead) conditions
Just upgrade firmware by using sp flash tool

I tried approx 3 different versions .. but may be it's problem of our tab's sources .. also no recoveries available for same chipset (tablet) ..
That's why i am helpless
Also not getting solution for recovery touch problem online..
I ported recovery for some other devices and that's working fine..
So it's not a fault.

I don't exactly remember what the error was. It came during compilation.
Maybe because I could not find kernel file in split_img? What about you?

Just google it 'how to port twrp recovery by using carliv image kitchen' you will get many tutorial.,
Actually its total 7 file transfer from stock to port 2 from main and 5 from stock split_img to port split_img

Hey @shailesh178 , Could you try using "Easy Magic TWRP Installer for MTK Devices"? Its much easier, and is reported working several times.

I tried that, but not working..
,, btw i have taken full backup today using twrp by mouse (mouse working perfect in landscape mode view) .. working great.
