Im now testing this rom and its really fast but Gapp didin't work (market) this is 1st probliem what i found.
Ya pc to sdcard does not work and gapps do work but needs to be flashed after Rom il post a link for Gapps soon and may even include it in Update 5

I want to try and make this rom faster so i might take out some things like flash player in next update.But if any body has any has any dispute about it pls say it and i might also get rid of some other feature or just make another Rom based on the same Rom but stripped.

flash player 10.3 test and no working

Very fast rom,for now every thing is ok
3d gaming is not perfect i have lagg on many games and some times game just on white screen when i press on screen i see game but on 3d its just white....
3D gaming isnt all good but it will work properly with Chainfire 3D,
If anybody knows a rom that can actually play 3D game pls tell me cause i could learn a lot from it

the bugs that i've seen
The bugs that i've seen on this rom are the following:
-Camera,this problemes were solved on anryl rom take a look at it
-Flash player 10.3 doesn't work at least with the browser by default.
-Clock layout,TasoOs solve that problem on his last release take a look.
-FMRadio,i post it in taoOs cm7 rom take a look to these custom rom for huawei u8650 maybe that radio works.
I've not seen how the battery drain is but when i see it i'll post about it.
Al the other things works at least for now.

i might try and improve on 3d gameplay and increase the speed of the rom by a bit more
tip:if you disable windows animation and use launcher pro you could get over 5.0MFlops
on 691mhz scailingerformance,this will let you play games like crusade of destiny etc
and if you use chainfire3D(which i will include on my next Rom) 3D gameplay will be a whole lot better.

Not necessary, because those features are only included in the "initramfs" folder...but if he start to add features that are included in the "Kernel", then the source is required.
What about the features he is planning to add? I guess I bunched them together

actually i incorporated all the changelog of moikop's kernel in my version 1.0
but ecliar is buggy... so i got plenty of errors while compiling
so, i just want to build a base kernel and add the features gradually... this will be the best choice of work with minimal errors

Those errors suppose to appear while compiling. It seems like it is still much better to build kernels in Froyo...anyways, thanks for the reply, and also, you should add Voodoo Sound v10 in your kernel! here is a clean commit I made : https://github.com/JPurungrit/PuruKernel-G3/commit/c7bf85a4f8d83204c792fb8411407ce07958219f Try it in Eclair! I'm too curious

dude, both of them are exactly the same except the soft keys If it doesn't boot up, then it means he did something wrong...

i had a long work with this device i had posted the rom have a try on it (update version test 2 )

to get latest updates on fixes
And another thing its highly recommended to flash this rom only for testers .....so the one who flashes ur only purpose shud be testing and reporting and this is going to be fast......no space for complain........

Why don't you just use marcellusbe guthub repository? I think you can find everything you need in it.

Yep, they work now.
Except video cam of course.
Could you please take a look at the gps too it works but partially and takes insanely long to get a fix i think the problem is that it doesn't use the a-gps data from cellphone towers.

bt is fixed now.....he will be working on camera next......fixing the distorded preview bug and video recording. and really tht was damn fast.....

but i made our p350 a fully working cm rom without bugs
so here i am now working with two devices at a time so on completion of cm i will overtake your ics because one is better than other
tomorrow morning i am going to give a surprise for your devices

Ive its boot img.so we install like mai77 method?and why you dont make it as flashable zip?i think its easier to install.

a2sd is not compatible with all roms here... some people will post that they got bootloops.. it the reason why its usually excluded. I included it cuz I made this for stock kernel and its working fine with it.

As some of you know, some of most popular XDA developers, presented new ROM, oriented to new features, performance, and community.
ROM was just released few hours ago, so we are one of first devices to get it.
ROM is very smooth, because its based on AOSP. No lockscreen lag!
Primary aim of this is to list bugs, and collect a logcats, so we help development of this newly created ROM in general.
Bugs:
- USB Mounting (try 3rd party apps) [Will be fixed in next build]
- RIL [Will be fixed in next build}
- Video recording
- Bluetooth
- Laggy bootanimation [Will be fixed in next build]
- Glitchy browser (try using 3rd party apps like Chrome)
Download pre-alpha
Please report bugs if not listed above! And collect logcats!
Note 1: This ROM also have included google keyboard (gesture typing).
Note 2: This ROM contains sweep2wake, but no userspace control yet.
Note 3: You may face Status 7, in that case, delete some apps you don't need from zip.
One more time - this is not for daily use. Just testing!

waiting for Build#2
Since this is a pre-alpha, its too early to say anything... But I am getting a taste of AOSP perhaps (as the ROM is new maybe ) Hope the features are pumped up... They at IRC #omnirom were discussing cool features to bring to omnirom, so, I'd wait for a later release. P.S. 270 MB actual free RAM at boot :laugh: Hope this continues in later builds too :fingers-crossed:

A few of the Nexus devices were the first to be supported but a big majority of devices will be able to run Omni. As long as the device can run AOSP ROMs it'll be able to run this

tried the rom....!
the rom has a lot of potential...!
not much of a lag
the script 40int2ext doesnt work
the launcher needs a bit of resizing
the network isnt working
and most of the features are no added (i understand its a prealpha build just helping the op by telling him the things to be fixed )
the performace section has lot of cool features i see
waiting for a totally stable build ....!!!

i've fixed the launcher dimensions and most probably ril.however to be a daily driver,it needs loads of patches.i'm trying to merge all the needed hacks upstream,as the OMNI team are kinder compared to CM
can u post the bootanimation.zip from this zipp ill try to resize it

XDA Developers TV just uploaded Full video of OmniROM presentation. As you may noticed, this ROM looks really much like AOSP, but that's going to change soon, they added some really nice and original features, that are still under the testing.
Looking forward too this rom gonna be a killer against cm pa aokp
I mean multi window would that be possible be in pico I guess :sly::sly:
