[Q] Remap headphone Skip/Rewind to volume controls? - HTC Sensation

Hello,
I do not own an HTC Sensation, but I recently purchased a pair of the Beats headphones that come with the phone off of eBay. I have remapped hardware keys before, but I was curious if anyone had successfully changed the Skip button on the Headphones to volume Up and the rewind button to Volume down. If so, how would i do this?
Thank you,
CJ

I don't think there is a way to directly control the volume of the speaker with the rocker switch on the side unless you are using Speakerphone, Windows Media Player, or HTC Audio Manager.
Roland
thank you
thank you for ur reply. i'm still not used to smartphone edition. the loudspeaker volume on my previous two pda phone(wizard and magician) can be controlled using volume rocker. so i guess i just have to get used to smartphone then. thank you

Can't adjust volume on headset, anyone?

Hi, I just got my new Touch Diamond.
Now I have the following problem:
When I plugin the headset (HS S300), I can't adjust the volume of the headset. When i push on the little buttons on the cord of the headset, the phone will call the latest called person.
I'm wondering if I could change the function of those buttons. And how, if possible.
Or is there any other way to change the volume of the headset perhaps?
Thanks in advance!
the same problem i think the handsfree can change the volum
Oh, by the way, I'm using Dutty's ROM (v3.4).

Set Volume buttons skip track

I have just bought an adapter for my car stereo to plug my phone into it. Since the stereo will manage volume I was wondering if I could change the volume buttons on the phone to skip pause instead of altering the volume.
I am running insertcoin sense 3.5 rom. I have read it is possible for holding the volume buttons to skip and single press to alternative volume but this was for aosp roms. Can this be done with sense?

[Q] Bluetooth pause/play

I have searched long and hard for this but cannot come up with simple solution. I have a motorola boom bluetooth headset. It has just one button on it, coupled with two volume buttons. ALL I want to do is be able to replicate the exact functionality that my wired headset has where it pauses/resumes the most recent audio stream when i hit the play button.
What is the best way of doing this?
Thanks.

[Q] Headphone volume controls

So i have an old pair of headphones from my s3. the play/pause button works fine with the M8, but the volume up/down buttons only skip tracks and not change the volume. i can skip tracks with double/triple pressing the play button. would really like to see something control the media volume with my headphone buttons.
im sure it is... but the xda post i found for it doesn't address what i posted about.

I even purchased the oem headphones on HTC's site that says compatible with M8, still no dice. Hopefully there will be a fix soon.
i have the ones that came with the M8 and i noticed only one button. i just dont get why they need to go in their own direction and remove buttons instead of comply with the current accessories and just add the features. i run with my phone in an armband so a one button remote has limited usefulness.
I am in the exact same boat...When I work out the phone is an athletic armband so I don't really have access to it during my workout. I use these headphones: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005I2IVRO/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and I can play/pause by pressing the middle button once and skip tracks forward by double tapping the middle. However, the volume up and volume down buttons are do not function period. Very annoying and hoping there's an Xposed module or an app that can make them work.
