Hello,
I am looking for information on rooting (or temporarily) tablet.
I have got a tablet device with Honeycomb 3.2 which is not on market yet. Having experience of using my android phone, I would like to have it rooted as well. Unluckily, I have no USB because the device is using a special connection interface. That means, only measures (with WiFi to transfer files) through device instead of PC could work...
I have searched forums for gaining root access and even temp root access for quite some time. I have tried androot, Gingerbreak etc but no luck.
If there is a different area in XDA Forums I should be asking this, please refer me there.
I would appreciate for all help on this. Thanks.
Regards,
tczhang
Anyone can help on this? Thanks.

I bought a Alcatel One Touch 922 yesterday. I searched but I didn't found anything about root it. Can anybody help me about Alcatel OT 922?
So, I didn't want rooting exactly, I want delete default apps on my phone. It's enough for me if I can. I know it, we must root phones for do something via root privileges, but, any other way for delete default apps except rooting?

I am also in the same boat as this user. I just want to remove the default apps that came pre-installed. I have searched the forum with key words 'Alcatel OT922' and didn't get many hits.
Make that 3 of us. So far, I've tried One Click Root (failed), Superoneclick (hangs on step 7 every time) and 74root (failed). Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Me too please
Make that 4, I would also like to know this please. Thank you :good:

Well, my first thread in the forum. I bought Lenovo A606, which was actually released last month. There isn't much information on the web about rooting that device. Usually some Russian websites (I has tried some of their applications, but seems like most of them are fake and danger). And yeah, I was kinda afraid for my phone, because all of that poor "rooting software". Could someone help me to root this little baby? I just want to get the USB audio recording application work properly with my new phone and my audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett 2i2), if it's possible. The developers of the application didn't told me a lot, but the best way to find out if both devices will be compatible is to experiment.
PS
I forgot to mention that both Kingo Root and towelroot didn't made it up for me.
I successfully rooted my lenovo A606 with Genius root . You may also try .

How do you root a ZTE Speed N9130? I've tried several and still can't get it. Please don't link me to the "root any device" one because it doesn't work for crap :/

Hi,
Sadly, there isn't any direction to go on the site for a working rooting method. But there are people that share your angst.
I hope that the Speed was a gift, as I have a habit of making sure root is attainable on my devices before buying them. Just a suggestion for next time around.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
